Bij aankomst was de receptioniste niet meteen de vriendelijkste. De volgende ochtend bij het ontbijt was het iemand anders en die was wel vriendelijk :) Kamer was zeer proper, badkamer ook. Ruim en alles was aanwezig (zeepjes, haardroger, frigo, tv,...) Het ontbijt was ok: toast met confituur, vers fruitsap, koffie, thee en cakejes. Algemene ervaring: zeer positief, een aanrader! (restaurant Dorn's tegenover hotel is zeer goed!!)

Wij hadden dit hotel uitgezocht omdat we toe waren aan een comfortabel hotel tijdens onze roadtrip door Californie. De suite was prachtig en lekker groot, alleen wat lawaaierig omdat naast de deur een flinke kier was die veel geluid doorliet. Er was een open hal waardoor het geluid van het restaurant en de bar in de suite te horen was. Het uitzicht op de highway was niet fraai vanaf het, overigens grote en mooie, balkon. De service van de receptie was uitstekend; we kregen een andere suite dan we gereserveerd hadden en ze maakten dit helemaal goed met ons. Kreeg van het hoofd Receptie 2 lekkere flessen lotion van een uitstekend merk van de Spa. Ze wilde het graag goed maken en vonden het erg vervelend dat we ind e verkeerde suite waren terechtgekomen en het was een leuke geste.

Ontbijt zeer verzorgd en je mag gebruiken maken van de keuken en woonruimte. Lekker op de loungebank of bij de open haard.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Really nice place to stay"
Good location, great staff, clean pool and hot tub, very clean room.
It was relaxing and the hotel was great, would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
The room was very clean and spacious, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very enjoyable stay, would stay again. We had stayed in San Jose at another chain, that was supposed to be luxurious, but the room was much smaller, no hair dryer and no breakfast, for a rate twice the amount that this Holiday Inn Express offered.

"Great Location for Paso Robles wine tasting"
Perfect location between Paso Robles and Morro Bay. Great spot close enough for wine tasting. Clean suite and breakfast bar in the morning. Staff was very friendly. Convenient new Jack In the Box restaurant located across the parking lot.

Staff was very friendly. Room was in excellent condition. Even though it was near the freeway you could not hear any noise. Highly recommend this place.

our stay at the H.I. Express was excellent. There was a young lady that ran the breakfast room who went out of her way to make sure all guest had a good stay.

"All under one roof!"
We stayed over New Year's Eve, and they were very comfortable accomodations. When we arrived, the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and warmly greeted us. We used the exercise room and spa, which were both very convenient & well-maintained. The only disappointment was that the breakfast ended too early, especially on a Sunday, and MOST […] especially the morning after New Year's Eve! We thought they could have at least kept their "included" hot breakfast till 10:30 or 11, but it was done & over at 9:30...the staff member who was cleaning up when we walked in to the area was not very cordial to us, either. "Quick on/off Freeway"
Even though the freeway was close by the noise level was near zero. The breakfast buffet was perfect with food for all to enjoy. Grab a quick "something to go" or sit and enjoy a satisfying meal. Thumbs up!

Both beds seemed to have kind of a hump in them. Not horrible, but a bit annoying.

This is a great hotel--we had a double-queen bed non-smoking room--it was extremely clean and very spacious. The beds and bedding were super comfortable. The bathroom amenities were nice. It was quiet even though we were on the freeway side. The hotel seemed remote, but the front desk clerk, who was pleasant and friendly, recommended a really good restaurant […] not far away. "Pleasantly Surprised"
My wife and I were attending an event near Atascadero. My wife's only instructions to me were "anyplace but the Holiday Inn, because I want to stay someplace nice". Well, our plans got kind of messed up and I didn't make reservations until the last minute. My choices were pretty limited because so many places were booked. I had to choose between spending […] a fortune or booking a room at the place she specifically said she didn't want to stay. Guess which one I picked. :^) I didn't mention it to my wife until we pulled up to the hotel. Luckily the place looked really nice from the outside. Once we got in we were really really surprised how nice it was. The room was spectacular. The furnishings were contemporary and very clean. The ceilings were very high, so we didn't feel like we were in a shoebox. The beds were very comfortable and they provided four pillows on each side of the bed. The pillows were even labeled soft and hard. Breakfast was included and it was very nice. The pool and spa were a little small, but they were clean and well designed for the space. And the PEOPLE at the hotel were amazing. They really bent over backwards to make sure every guest was thrilled with their visit. Well done! We will stay there next year if we attend the same event. "A good hoel filled by kids in the middle of nowher"
Our room was extremely large and comfortable. However the window had the entrance concrete pillars just in front of it. Most negative was that the hotel was poorly noise isolated. You could hear every step in the room above you. The swimmingpool was small and absolutely filled up by children so you could forget about having a swim. This hotel was so beautiful it looked just like the pics on the website. The staff was friendly I love their gym very clean ,flat screen tv's, I loved the fridge in the room we have kids so milk and snacks stayed fresh. so happy. Thank u.

I had to stay in the area to help my son move into town from Southern California. I found the room extremely clean and well kept, and it felt very new and modern as though it was built within the last 5 years. I was impressed with the qualilty and variety of the Continental Breakfast items offered every morning. "Very comfortable and affordable stay in wine count"
This was by far one of the most comfortable and clean rooms I've stayed in. The staff were all very attentive and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was hot, constantly maintained and a good variety. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk employee seemed annoyed and bothered to check me in. Other than that, it was a perfect stay, great location, clean, spacious, good hot tub jets, and my check out employees were terrific and polite.

"Great as a overnight travel stop"
I was passing through this area on the way to Santa Cruz and needed a place to stay for the night. For the money, this hotel was great. It was new, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was okay, but nothing great. It's what you would expect for a standard chain hotel. This is probably the best value in the area.

"Very nice hotel"
My wife and I stayed here one night on our road trip and loved it. We were going to stay in San Luis Obispo, but it was more expensive and didn't look as nice as this place. Great hotel, very modern and clean. Nice solid breakfast to get us going in the morning.

"Very helpful staff at Atascadero"
I tried to check in the hotel that my husband reserved and paid for through hotels.com. I was told I'm sorry but your husband must be the one to check in. I normally would not mind this however he was not well, he has epilepsy and had two seizures just an hour before, so he needed me to check in as rest was imperative at this point. The front desk person […] apologized & I conceded getting my husband from the car. He seemed ok with this act but I was skeptical. All seemed to work out fine. We got our pre- paid room and got settled in. Much later almost midnight, my husband had a Gramdmal seizure in his sleep. After having the seizure rest is very important. I called the front desk at midnight and requested an entire change of bedding. They were very nice and accommodating. I was notified of the limits of the bedding (no spare comforters) but was offered another option, an extra blanket. The change of bedding was brought to me in less than 10 minuties of the request. This is impressive. I hust be honest, I did not expect this accommodation from this hotel, surprising. That's not all. I went to a near by breakfast restauraunt, they forgot the jam for the toast. I went to the buffet area but it was closed, so I went to the front desk. I requested the jam and was again surprised. The young lady went out of her way to get some jam for us. Overall the stay was surprisingly great. I explained to her that my hysband was not feeling well and that it was not contagious but has Epilepsy. I requested that the housekeepers clean when we left out for the day & I would call when we left. Again we were accommodated. My Husbands daughter was getting mairred the next day and was well rested due to the non-intureppted rest/sleep. I would stay at the Holiday Inn Atascadero again. Lees meer
