Candlewood Suites New York City-Times Square ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Wassenbeeldenmuseum Madame Tussauds en Times Square. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Broadway en Empire State Building.

Bij dit hotel met met 3 sterren beschikt elke kamer over een kitchenette met een kookplaat, een magnetron, een koelkast en een afwasmachine. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een haardroger en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. In Candlewood Suites New York City-Times Square mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.

Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.

Het verblijf in het hotel was zeer aangenaam. De kamer was op de 18de verdieping en lag aan een rustige straat. Hierdoor hadden we nauwelijks last van verkeersgeluiden. De kamer was lekker ruim en het straalde rust en luxe uit. De turn-over service is echt geweldig. Bij terugkomst op je kamer is je bed netjes opgemaakt, de gordijnen dicht en de verlichting brand romantisch. Ook staat er een relaxed rustig jazz muziekje op. We hadden een bad met uitzicht op het empire state building. Helaas was het zwembad met de bad nog niet open. De Spa zag er overigens schoon en heel erg lux uit. Guest service en maintenance lossen problemen snel en goed op (verstopt toilett). De doorman / belman service is ook erg prettig. De mensen hadden leuke tips, regelde heel vlot taxi's en passen prima op je bagage of zorgen dat deze naar de kamer gebracht wordt. Wat ik jammer vind aan dit hotel is dat alle extra diensten heel erg kostbaar zijn. Wifi op de kamer moet eigenlijk een gratis dienst zijn. In de lobby was Wifi 2 uur gratis en als je dicht bij het raam gaat zitten heb je de wifi van de starbucks aan de overkant. Ook een ontbijt op de kamer is erg kostbaar maar wel een onvergetelijke ervaring. Het Hotel staat in de omgeving SoHo. SoHo heeft gelukkig voldoende leuke restaurantjes en ontbijt gelegenheden in de buurt.

De West Coast heeft dan wel Hollywood; maar de lampen van Broadway schijnen net zo helder en vele televisieacteurs komen naar de Great White Way om aan hun reputatie te werken. Tot de bezienswaardigheden in de regio behoren Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall en het Museum of Modern Art. De prachtige St. Patrick's Cathedral neemt een blok tussen Fifth en 50th in beslag. Op het ooit verwaarloosde Times Square vind je nu ABC, MTV en NASDAQ.

Eenvoudig hotel, perfect gelegen op 2 minuten loopafstand van bus- en metrostration Port Authority en op 5 minuten loopafstand van Times Square. Vriendelijk personeel, keukentje op de kamer met alles erop en eraan (magnetron, fornuis, koelkast incl ijsmachine en zelfs een vaatwasser!), lekker bed. Hetgene dat me het meeste is bijgebleven is hoe ontzettend […] schoon de kamer was! Normaal zie je altijd wel ergens stof, of schimmelplekken op de badkamer, maar hier heb ik daar niks van gezien. The staff service is great & rooms are neat . Free Wifi and you can make use of the Laundry room for free! The only point that scores less is, if your staying less than a week housekeeping is not offered . Housekeeping is available only if you stay an extended stay of over 1 week. Late check out is possible + Luggage storage.

De locatie is niet zoals de titel doet vermoeden times square maar toch nog redelijk in de buurt. De kamer is klein maar prima schoon Internet is goed en het kleine keukentje voldoet prima. Bedden zijn goed. De gym is klein maar bevat prima apparaten. Kortom prima hotel, buurt is minder, maar de prijs maakt het goed.

Good suite hotel. Small rooms, but clean and relatively new. Small kitchenette, convenient because of the refridgerator and microwave. Very central, five to ten minutes walk to times square and about five minutes to subway. We would absolutely recommend it.

We had a great time, & we enjoyed the hotel, as it was very handy to everything we wanted to do & see. The facilites in the hotel were excellent, everything we wanted was there. It was a bit like being at home. Staff were very helpful, obliging, & always greeted us whenever we met them. Thanks very much.

Location is excellent, Just a nice 10'' stroll and your in the middle of Times Square and 42nd St Subway where you can go anywhere in New York, Service from hotel staff great. We were informed on arrival that the room would not be serviced for the duration of our stay however if we required clean towels to contact reception! HOWEVER be aware that on […] arrival you receive a ''Complimentary Coffee and Tea in your room!'' and thats for the duration of your stay ( Ours was 4 nights and there were NO tea bags on arrival ) When requesting more Tea bags and Coffee satchels was informed that we would have to PURCHASE them!!!! "Great location!"
Very clean, comfortable stay for 2 who were on the go constantly. About a 5-8 min walk from TIme Square and Theater District. Street was a little less traveled due to surrounding businesses but we never felt scared, cops were almost always on the corners after hours. Would definitely stay there again!

great hotel for the $.....my only complaint is the parking fee...they charge $55 a night...you can park it yourself in a garage around the corner for $25 a night. I wanted to pay in cash for the parking but they charged my card before I checked out....if you pay then -- they will refund the $ on your card...but it takes 10 days....NOT COOL

Rooms look exactly like the online pics. Rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly. Location was great...less than a mile from Times Square
The kitchenette and table gives plenty of extra space to live, which seems to be a luxury in NYC hotels. The bed was big and very comfortable. We got a room at the 24th floor with a nice view and no outside noise (despite the fridge starting up at night from time to time). My boyfriend and I got bit by something there. Spiders? Bedbugs ? We don't know but woke up itching with bites on our ankles legs arms. Gross.
"Great Place to Stay!"
Great price, great room (with Kitchen) and great location. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Rooms are only cleaned once per week however clean towels or bedding is available upon request. All in all a very cheap and clean place to stay!

really enjoyed the hotel. close to time square, 5th ave., subway, etc. would recommend! the only issue i had was that the rooms aren't made up everyday. otherwise, fantastic place to stay!

Very friendly staff. Heating system very noisy and blew a lot of cool air when I was trying to heat up the room. If I left it on while I wasn't there, then it was okay. Very helpful to have kitchenette in the room.

This was the best hotel that I have ever stayed in when visiting NYC. The front desk staff was always accommodating and friendly. Our flight came in at 7:30am and upon arrival of the hotel at 8:30am our room was ready and no one gave us any problems for checking in early. We were very warmly welcomed. I have never stayed in a room for the price that […] we were able to have a fridge, stove, microwave, and a dishwasher. The location was close to Times Square in the Fashion District. The walk in the winter to get to Times Square was a little chilly, but I am sure Spring/Summer would be a lot better. The neighboring Aloof Cafe was one of our favorie night time snack spots...get the chocolate pastry it is the best. Overall awesome hotel! Lees meer

"Great Deal Close to Times Square!"
This little suite has a queen sized bed, a full-sized refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, and microwave with a package of microwave popcorn already in it! The people were SOOOO nice, they have a DVD lending library if you just get exhausted sightseeing, and so many great little small quaint places to eat, so close! I would definitely go there again! If […] my husband came with me next time, I would have to find somewhere else if my daughter wanted to come and stay. A little tight for 3 of us. But PERFECT for me (and my duaghter)! "Great Value"
From the front desk staff to maintenance, our stay was great. We had a "slow" drain in our tub and it was fixed immediately. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Will definitely stay here again!
"QUIETEST Hotel I ever stayed in"
Usually I am accustomed to door slammings, thumping noises, loud talking/tv throughout the night when I stay in hotels. While not perfectly quiet (as I don't believe any hotel can be), this was absolutely the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was spacious, clean, and I had a nice view of the city. Will definitely stay here again.

Very reasonably priced, well-kept, with friendly staff, and a 15-20 minute walk to theaters, Times Square. Just beware that as an extended-stay facility, housekeeping is done only weekly -- but you can get fresh linens/towels at the front desk any time.

Everything was O.K. freindly staffs. very clean room. Very close to Times Square. I strongly recommend to those who stay longer as this hotel has full kitchen systems and a big refregirator in the room.

Just slightly off of the main path, I highly recommend this hotel for any type of stay; both long and short-term. The prices are extremely reasonable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the room quality is as advertised. Definitely would stay here again!

"Extremely Pleased"
The Candlewood Suites is convenient to both the Port Authority and Penn Station. The hotel staff were the best I've ever had. The room was beautiful -- it's nice having a kitchenette too. We would definitely go back! The bed was very comfortable also. I could go on and on!

My Daughter and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel room was clean. They even had balloons and cupcakes (additional fee) in the room when we arrived. We were close to (3blocks) from TimeSquare. Had a great time. We will definitely stay here again!
The Customer service was excellent! The location was close enough to everything. I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Able to check in early, customer service was great. Very happy and helpful front desk personnel and bellhop. Suite was very clean and very well appointed. Convenient location to Times Square, Fashion & Theatre District. Would recommend parking in the lot across the street as opposed to the $55.00 valet parking. If you go over the 24 […] hours for valet, its an automatic $55.00 no matter if its an hour or another 24 hours. Lees meer

The street it's on is dirty, but safe & quiet. I didn't hear a vehicle outside my window the whole night or morning.
