Holiday Inn DFW South in Irving

Hotel was clean, good service, good food at restaurant. Had to wait for the hotel shuttle which wasabout 20 minutes late picking up for the airport.

This hotel was so great and convenient distance from the dfw airport. We got there and they were having a couple parties, was very fun and entertaining. Clean, the BEST food!

very clean and nice.Near Six Flags Over Texas and Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

we have stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience. It left a lot to be desired this time around concerning customer service.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a recent visit to Dallas to see the COWBOYS! I was traveling with my sons and the hotel staff was the best. I will be returning for another game next year and I already know where I will be staying.

the size and quality of the room was excellent for the price, all very modern, very spacious, loved the restaurant/bar and lobby. it wasn't right in the middle of the city, which we loved, but close enough to be convenient

We stayed at this hotel to rest up before the long flight to Australia. After 5 weeks travelling around the USA we needed a rest. This was a perfect spot with good facilities, great staff(special thanks to Susana at the front desk) and wonderful rooms

our room was not as described or pictured. Very much a let down.

My husband and I loved this hotel!!! We will definitely go there again. The neighborhood was so nice and the employees were so accommodating. We traveled with our 3 year old and she loved it! I am also pregnant and had a variety of cravings which the hotel provided in room service. Loved this place!

We were really excited about our trip to Dallas because it was our first time to be there. So we drove 5 hours straight and we were really tired by the time we got to the hotel. When my husband went in to inquire about our reservation, we were told that there was NO ROOM available for us and that we had to wait for an hour. After driving for 5 hours, […] that was not exactly what we wanted to hear. So we asked if we could just get our money back so we could find another hotel instead and we were told that we had to deal with Hotels.com regarding this. Fair enough. But what was really annoying was the fact that the receptionist did not show any care at all knowing that we drove for hours with 2 kids. So then she told us to wait for 30 minutes after we said we wanted our money back, so we just decided to stay and wait. 15 minutes later, we were told that our room was ready. Why did she tell us to wait for 1 hour if they could get the room ready in 15 minutes? Nonetheless, we were glad that we didn't had to wait that long. As soon as we unloaded our stuff, we left and went to Six Flags eventhough it was 105 that day. By the time we got back to the hotel, we were just exhausted. We called the receptionist to asked about our free full breakfast as part of our room package deal and we were told by the "night manager' that he wanted to see our receipt so we had to go down to the reception area to hand it to him personally. That irritated me, and so I went on to explain to him that when we first got to the hotel they didn't have any room ready for us. He said it wasn't his fault, true, but once again there was no sense of empathy. After he sensed I was getting more and more irrated, he finally went up to our room with another worker who was more like a bodygurad he took with him, just in case. I showed him my receipt, and he said it didn't say anything about free breakfast. I explained to him that I know what I paid for but he said they don't offer this kind of room package so Lees meer

This hotel was located within 10 minutes from DFW Airport. Parking is free and saved us from having to pay for airport parking. Shuttle was prompt on the way to the airport, took longer for them to pickup. Hotel seems brand new, clean rooms, and fun bar area. Would recommend for travelers.

We stayed here because of the proximity to Six Flags, just a few minutes away off 360. The font desk staff were ok, not too friendly and not too crabby. The wait staff at the restaurant were great. The complimentary breakfast was great, although I felt like I was putting the front desk staff out by asking for my vouchers. The room was very clean and […] big! Not a lot of options for eating since it is near an industrial park, so if you don't know your way around, you have limited options for meals. Overall, it was a nice hotel and we had a great time! Loved the room and shower!! The only down thing to the stay was the fact that one of the elevators was out of service. You could not get to the stairwell from the lobby. But the overall stay was great, I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn DFW South. The only thing that I recommend to change is the price for snacks. For instance... small bag of chips, cookies or soda drink costing $2.00 each.

Make sure you have the hotel's phone number with you when you arrive at DFW as you have to call for the shuttle pick-up. They fail to tell you this, and you may be waiting a long time outside where all the hotel shuttles go by. The hotel is nice and new and the room and beds were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and hotel condition was good since it is in new condition. As is typical in the south, the staff was very friendly and respectful. Great southern hospitality.

The hotel staff was the top selling point. Friendly,helpful,and the the waitress in the restaurant was very friendly. The hotel room was very nice ,and convenient.

I can't say anything negative about this hotel. The room was clean, the service was outstanding. I was suprised how quite the hotel was being as close to the airport as it was. I would definately stay here again.

We love it, we are planning back soon with our son. Very nice, clean n friendly. Only thing dont have ref. in the room but everything was perfect.

we stayed at the Holiday Inn near cowboys stadium and i must say it was really really nice in a good evironment and just a couple of miles away from the stadium!!

comfortable bed, loved the glassed shower

From the beautiful decor to the super friendly staff (at 2:00am)and the comfortable room, we could not believe what a great deal we got on this hotel room.

The only problem I has was the shuttle service. They do not pick up from Love Field in Dallas, only DFW Airport. Had to get a taxi for $40. Also, they do not provide a shuttle to the new Cowboys Staduim. We had to get a taxi, for $40. Then a taxi back to the airport, Love Field, another $40. i loved everything about this hotel! it was very clean, nice & the customer service was excellent. i definitely recommend others to stay here.

Pros: - 40" lcd flat panel with tons of channels. - comfortable, clean beds - clean & contemporary bathrooms - awesome lobby - cool bar Cons: - Long island tea was $8 at bar. A bit overpriced

If you need something closer to the airport, at a great value, this is a find.

This hotel is awesome! The lobby is filled with wonderful art and fresh flowers. The employees were very helpful and friendly! When we went to our room we were surprised at how modern and clean everything was! I liked the hotel so well I went around taking pictures. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel was clean and comfortable...nice bar and staff. The pool was decent, although a little loud (in the flight path for DFW...departure every minute)...i would definitely stay there again...free shuttle to anything within 5miles (over 75 restaraunts)

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. It was very nice and almost everyone was very kind (with the exception of the bartender.) I would recommend this to families, or persons traveling alone.

Myself, my wife and nearly one year old son were in town to watch 4 Texas Rangers games. This Hotel was not too far from the Ballpark, but also not too close to all of the congestion. Very easy to get to the Ballpark. We stayed 4 nights. At the time we reserved this, the price was very reasonable. We were very happy with the comfortable room and had […] only minor issues. The TV went out during the night, but was fixed very quickly the next morning. The tub/shower was very nice, but also very slick. I believe that the hotel should invest in some rubber grips for the tub bottom before someone slips and gets hurt. Was very surprised at how nice room was for the money. Big screen TV very clean and comfortable. Looks like the room would have cost double what we paid.

When I booked this trip for our visit to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, I did so based on the price. I was happy to find out was right on 360 which meant it was a straight shot to Ranger Stadium/Cowboy Stadium southbound, and it was only about 12 minutes from the Bass Pro Shop/Mills Outlet mall. The hotel was perfect for our one night stay. It was nice and quiet even though there was a large party in one of the banquet rooms. We never heard any music or noise from this party.
