Leuk hotel overal dichtbij alles op loopafstand zelfs met 2 kids van 10 en 13! Parkeer gelegenheid is minder al hadden wij geluk en hadden een mooi gratis plekje. Super 3 dagen gehad.

Dit hotel bevindt zich op de ideale plek in Berlijn. Je stapt de deur uit en je bent in DE winkelstraat van Berlijn, restaurants zijn er volop in de buurt en je kunt heerlijk (en goedkoop) ontbijten of een broodje halen bij back WERK. We hebben in het hotel daarom niet ontbeten, en ook verder niet gegeten, en dat geldt volgens mij voor veel gasten. Binnen 15 minuten ben je te voet bij de Brandenburger Tor, en de rivier de Spree is dichtbij. Ook de U- of S-Bahn is bij het hotel. Handig!! Dit hotel is anders dan andere hotels, je kijkt namelijk direct vanuit je hotelkamer in de lobby. Kamers zijn stil, je hoort wel de airco. Jammer was dat er maar een paar zenders waren op de televisie. Doordat het hotel Spaans is, zijn er veel Spanjaarden in het hotel, en bijvoorbeeld weinig Nederlanders. Het hotelpersoneel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik (en mijn dochter van 8 jaar) zouden er een volgende keer zo weer naar toe gaan.

Wij kregen een suite, erg ruim, de kinderen (17 en 16) lagen wel op een opklapbed in de huiskamer, maar het was wel veel gezelliger dan dat we 2 kamers hadden gekregen, en erg ruim. Alles schoon, ze waren erg vriendelijk, makkelijk dat je aan de balie gewoon een welcome card voor het openbaar vervoer kan kopen, de skybar is prachtig, Je bent snel in de stad met de tram, neem niet m8 dan kom je niet op centrale plaats uit, de Norma aan de overkant is makkelijk voor boodschappen. Het ontbijtbuffet is heel uitgebreid en erg lekker, werd steeds aangevuld, op zondag tot 13.00u! Wij konden er tot 's avonds op teren!

Mooi hotel, prima ontbijt, wel wat omgevingslawaai (voorzijde van de weg) en achterzijde van de trein. Met de ramen dicht was al het lawaai weg. Oordopjes beter alternatief dan werd het niet te warm op de kamer. Maar wat gezegd moet worden het was een prachtig hotel !!!

De Tiergarten, een groenstrook in het centrum van Berlijn, is het grootste park van de stad. In het gelijknamige stadsdeel vind je de Reichstag, de Brandenburger Tor, de Siegessäule, het Bellevue Palace, het Sowjetisches Ehrenmal en de dierentuin. De uitgebreide renovatie van het regeringskwartier langs de rivier de Spree en de Potsdamer Platz en het centraal station strekt zich uit tot grond die vroeger tot het grensgebied behoorde. Het park is het hele jaar geliefd bij joggers en in de zomer vind je er veel verkopers van versnaperingen.

Hotel is netjes, kamers zijn wat aan de krappe kant, vooral als je met 3-personen bent. Ligging hotel is goed, vlak bij bus c.q metro station, Kurfuerstendam ligt kortbij waar,overdag en s'avonds genoeg vertier is (restaurantjs,barretjes). Ideaal hotel voor stedentrip. Alleen s'morgens bij ontbijt is het erg druk, en kan het gebeuren dat je moet wachten […] tot tafeltje vrij is het ontbijt is wel goed. "Twijfelgeval"
Op zich alles netjes en schoon, en goede service. De kamers zijn echter erg klein, de bedden keihard en als je met zijn tweeën bent erg kleine dekbedden. De airco om de boel te koelen gaf warmte, en als je de ramen opendeed voor koelte had je een aantal muggen te doden. De lijken hiervan waren bij binnenkomst van de kamer overigens goed aanwezig. Hotel is een prima hotel. Is centraal gelegen en op max 10 minuten van het dichtsbijzijnde metrostation. Alles is goed verzorgd, kamer, schoonmaak, ontbijt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Gunstige ligging, goed ontbijt, schone maar kleine kamers. Personeel erg vriendelijk.Goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Enige minpuntje was dat het heel erg druk was bij het ontbijt, waardoor soms gewacht moest worden op een vrij tafeltje. Maar voor een paar dagen Berlijn zeker een aanrader!

prettig hotel, wij hebben een fiets gehuurd, maar je kunt lopend naar de kufudam en KADEWE en bus 100 rijdt door de straat. Het in een no smoking hotel! Goed ontbijt. Aan de achterkant heel rustig.

Great distance away from the city centre, although there was no mention that around the hotel there are many 'Thai massage parlours' and a 'homosexual night club'. The hotel itself was great, couldn't fault the room, and the breakfast each morning was very good. Overall a very good hotel

We were just passing through Berlin on our way home from the alpes. This was a pleasant hotel with easy basement parking, very good! The Hotel had high standard and was very modern and fresh.

"Nice area"
Hotel is located in a quiet area with restaurants & shops close by. A short walk to the neares U bahn station (Wittenberg Platz) & the zoo/Tiergarten. We walked to Potsdamer Platz and surrounding areas in the morning(40-50 mins) and took the U or S Bahn back to the hotel in the evening. Hotel was fine for a city break and the staff are freindly and […] helpful. We had a sofa bed in our room which left the room a bit cramped, but otherwise the room was fine and the bed comfy. Breakfast is the usual, continental, help yourself but there a good selection and you can eat as much as you like. The major shopping street of Kurfurstendamm is also only 10 mins walk away. "Very good business travel hotel"
The service and room/bathroom cleanliness were impeccable. I think this hotel is great for short (2-3 days) business stays. Breakfast is also provided. However, this might not be the best hotel for a family-type vacation as the room (and especially closet space) is kind of small for more than 1 person/longer stays.

This is a good hotel.. The location is decent and the price is reasonable. The breakfast service was as good as any in the US. However, the rooms are rather small. If you have large suitcases, there is barely room to between the end of the beds and the wall to get around.

we were very happy with the hotel, staff were friendly and willing to help with any requirements. the room was very clean and comfortable and the shower and toilet facilities were excellent, really clean. across the road there was the bus stop 100 which will bring you to alot of the tourist sites and not too far from the Zoologischer Garten railway […] station. very good, had a brilliant time and having a nice place to stay, that didn't blow our budget really helped. "Comfortable n convenient"
I had a pleasant stay in holiday Inn. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodation was brilliant. Infact any germans I came across were wonderful. I had a great time in Berlin.

Never expected this hotel is so great. Room is clean and with ECO features. Interior is modern and cozy. Breakfast was good and the most importantly the staffs are very pleasant.

was looking for an affordable hotel for three days in Berlin that had good access to shopping and inner city transportation. The Holiday Inn Express fit the bill. It is fairly basic as far as hotels go, but the staff is top notch, friendly and helpful. Internet, while not free, is cheap. Major shopping on KeDam, the Zoo and Aquarium, and great restaurants […] are just a few minutes walk away. Importantly, the famous Bus100 stops right across the street and there is a U station five minutes walk away. So you can navigate swiftly and easy to anywhere in the inner city. The hotel was quite new - beds very comfortable, nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Close to bus line so great access to city sights. Staff was very helpful.
Staff were friendly and helpful in sugesting how to get to places and recommended local resturants. Hotel location was good being close to good shopping areas, Tiergarden, Zoo and eating places. Room was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect. The only problem on check-in was that our room stank of smoke - in a no-smoking hotel! The duty manager quickly moved us to a new room. The room was adequate for a short stay and the breakfasts were OK and filling - just make sure you get to breakfast before about 8.30 to avoid delays and […] queues. The hotel is well situated and the 100 bus passes the door. It is about 10 minutes easy walk to the nearest underground station at Wittenbergplatz. The reception staff were helpful and most spoke good English. Not the cheapest of places and our stay cost about 50% more in September than in March. This is a great hotel if you're visiting as a tourist in Berlin. It's clean, the staff was helpful, a comp breakfast in the morning and it was located about 3 blocks from a subway station and several restauants. About a 10 minute walk down the street is a major shopping street, the zoo; access to hop-on/hop-off bus tours and plenty of restauants.

Very pleased with the hotel. Our rooms were ready as we specified, i.e. twin and triple. The rooms, lobby etc were clean. Excellent room rate which included breakfast. Breakfast catered for all ages, so everyone was full and happy. We liked the location, very close to Tiergarten & Wittenburg Platz. Everything was easily accesable by bike. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided us with an easy-to-read map and detailed directions include bus fare. The room was small. After the sofa bed was open (since we had 3 people), it was hard to move around. The bathroom was clean. Breakfast menu was standard with a good selection of bread. However, there was no hot food such as scrambled […] eggs. The hotel location was convenient with a bus stop, U-bahn, and a market all within a couple of minutes' walk. Walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was good, lots of variety to cover all tastes. Room was clean and comfortable, we were there in the hottest time of the year and appreciated the AC. Some hotels do not have AC because of the mild climate in Berlin.

Great location. Good service, clean and comfortable room.bathroom (only shower) Great free breakfast. Close to metro and many good sights. The advertised 'free' internet is not 'free' but the charge is minimal (EU 5 / 24h total use, enough for 3 - days stay) I'll stay there again anytime.

Myself and my Mam stayed here on a girly get away for six days (we're form Ireland). I could not find fault with this hotel at all. The location was perfect - only a few hundred metres walk to the Berlin Zoo and Zoologischer Garten S/U Bahn station, which provided transport to all the major sites and also an express train to Schonefeld Airport. The […] complimentary continental breakfast was lovely, so much choice and was available until 10:30. The rooms we had were very comfortable, beds changed regulary, bathroom was really cool - dove handwash provided, very clean and our PJs were folded on the bed every day! There were a few English language channels - CNN, CNBC, MTV which was nice. I had to do some work while I was there and it only cost €5 for 24 hours of high speed wifi. Every time you are finished with your laptop you could disconnect the internet and the clock would stop on your wifi, which meant the 24 hours I paid for lasted for the whole 6 days I spent there! The room was also very quiet as they had thick sound proof windows which meant sleeping was not a problem. There are plenty of restaurants, shops ect within a few hundred metres of the Holiday Inn. This hotel really ticks the boxes in terms of location, breakfast, wifi and price - definitely worth a stay! Lees meer
