Comfort Suites Macon in Mâcon

The desk clerk-Stephen I think-was really nice and helpful. He did charge my card for the room even though I told him to make sure he didn't because it was paid for by hotels.com. I got a text from Capital One immediately and told him. He couldn't fix it, but he left a note, and it was fixed a few days later. He was great though. Very happy with hotel, except they charged us on top of what we paid with hotels.com. When I called them they said hotels.co Never paid them. Long story short. Hotels.com resolved the issue but we were out the money for the vacation.

Didn't expect the Comfort Suites to be so nice, Updated with granite bathroom. Great location to restaurants and movie theater...walking distance.

Stopped here on our way from Florida to Chicago. The room was well appointed, up to date, clean and comfortable. There were several choices of decent dinner restaurants close by and the breakfast spread provided by the hotel had a good variety of food and plenty of tables to accommodate the guests. I would stay here again.

Everything was better than expected. Clean room, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Would stay again.

This hotel was Great in every way and I will stay anytime I'm in the area.

I travel A LOT for business, and NEVER stay at something along the Comfort Suites Line, BUT my client promised me it would be nice and it certainly was. Far nicer than a few of the Hyatt's, Hampton's, Courtyard and even the Marriott at the ATL airport the next day (ok the Marriot LOBBY was nicer, but not the room). quite surprised. The staff was pleasant and it looked like the rooms had recenlty been upgraded with new furnishings and electronics. The breakfast was awful. The eggs smelled like sulfur and tasted worse.

Front desk service was poor and irritating---employee was immature and lacked initiative. However, the room was great, beds were comfy. Breakfast ended way too early. It should go to 10 am instead of 9. Too hard to get everyone up and out to eat before 9 a.m. so we didn't benefit from the breakfast times.

New Comfort Suites and the front desk staff was fairly nice but not exceptionally experienced; the housekeeping staff was EXCELLENT with friendly faces & smiles. For business travelers, the Wifi connection is okay, but I connected to the Baymont Suites wifi which is across the street and got a much better connection to run my reports. My room had some […] patched up looking areas on the wall which is disappointing as it takes nothing to repaint the wall after it is caulked! However, the room was bigger than some 4 star hotels I've used and VERY clean and I am a neat freak. Carpets in the rooms were clean, but not so much in the hallways--but that is minor as you won't be sleeping in the halls. The bathroom was decent, but starting to wear a bit--but it was still somewhat nice. Microwave, fridge, bed/bedding, flat panel tv, central air unit all worked perfectly. Much nicer than any other hotel on this side of Macon off of Zebulon road. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel if staying in this area of Macon, but if you are willing to stay further away there are better hotels near Riverside & Tom Hill Sr. Blvd/Riverplace drive and the restaurants are better over there as well. This hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. It was very convenient to get on and off the interstate. We have stayed here for the last two years on our way home from Florida and will stay again. The only down side is you can sometimes hear the noise from the interstate but it didn't bother me at all.

We stayed at the Comfort Suites in Macon on our way to Sanibel Island. What a wonderful hotel! The staff was very friendly, the room was spotless, and the pool area was spacious and clean. The hotel has a nice breakfast in the morning and even free wi-fi. The hotel is conveniently located just off of the interstate, and even so we didn't hear any highway […] noise in our room at all! There is a Sonic and a Walgreens close by, as well as gas stations and other small stores. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Florida. Lees meer
