La Quinta Inn & Suites Slidell - North Shore Area in Slidell

Nice pillows! slept well.

Clean hotel, price is cheaper in flyers than hotels.com, hard to find (there are several Holiday Roads on GPS... make sure you choose Holiday Blvd off I-10). The best part of all is that it is within 10 minute walk of the Tammany Bike Trail (paved) which goes for miles through lower LA state. To access the trail head through the minimall system near […] the hotel, down the main drag Industrial Blvd (which is parallel to I-10), and after about 1 mile the trail starts across from a garage station (look for the yellow Biking Trail sign... a mud driveway leads to the awesome paved trail). LaQuinta in Slidell,La was very clean and staff very friendly. Only problem was trying to get to the hotel. Street sign leading to the hotel needs to be larger.

The hotel, the room and the staff were all excellent. Louisianians are so friendly. It was a 5-star experience for a 3-star price.

Went to this motel with my wife and 17 year old daughter. My wife and I were to sleep on the king size bed and my daughter on the sofa bed. I woke up the next morning and my daughter was no where to be found. I walked into the bathroom and there she was asleep in the tub with her covers. I woke her up and she told me that the tub was more comfortable […] than the sofa bed. That night we got a roll away bed and it was alot more comfortable. My suggestion is dont plan on sleeping on the sofa bed but get the roll away. Other than that. The hotel was great. Lees meer

Hotel was new, very clean. Friendly and considerate staff. We were given a 3rd floor room well away from the party going on in the banquet room. Beds were not comfortable, likely still new. Breakfast was well stocked. Surrounding area has many activity and restaurant choices, but gets very crowded at rush hour.

We came in from out of town for a soccer tournament and were not that familiar with Slidell. The hotels on exit 266 from I-10 seemed dated. The pictures do not lie. The LaQuinta at North Shore is worth the 10min trip down I-12. It's located by Sams Club, Super Walmart, the mall and Starbucks! I was able to run to Sams and Walmart while my family stayed […] at the hotel. The breakfast was good and staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and beds comfortable. We always love a true flat screen TV, LCD, not CRT with flat screen. The beds were comfortable. This is not your typical LaQuinta. Take the trip down I-12 and pay the exra money, it's worth it. On Hotels.com we got this room for $95 a night, verses $69 a night at the LaQuinta on exit 266 off I-10. 2.5 stars is not a fair rating. Great staff, comfort, and value including a great breakfast. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and the price was right. This hotel does allow dogs, so we had to switch rooms after checking in because there was dog hair all over the carpet, but the hotel staff was awewome and moved us to a new room immediately with many apologies! Huge flat-screen TV in room and very comfortable beds!

Be careful! Google will incorrectly map this address to a LaQuinta crack hotel off of I-10, this hotel is a few miles away off of Airport Drive exit of I-12. This is the best LaQuinta that I have stayed in. It is very recent construction. The rooms are decorated well, cozy and nicely put together with granite and nice modern furnishings. The staff […] was friendly and accommodating. Personally I found the continental breakfast a nerve-racking experience not worth the time or frustration. There was no clear line, the room was very small and full of people and kids bouncing off the ceiling and you are constantly spinning in circles and bumping into people just to try to put together a simple breakfast of sugary/trashy food. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but I saw a roach in the room and that makes it impossible for me. Overall this is a nice place, worth the money and a far cry from other LaQuintas. Lees meer

Don't bother using your GPS the address is meaningless. Call the hotel and have them talk you in. Don't expect to see a motel sign, its about 3 feet high. Once your there don't expect the bell carts to be useful. The tires are flat. In the morning expect the included breakfast to be late and skimpy. Really nice NEW hotel! The only thing that was unsatisfactory to me was that some of the housekeeping staff were in the breakfast area watching a movie with very very "bad" language which I thought was very inappropiate and even more so when I walked in with my 14 year old daughter! No one got up to turn it off so I guess it was either stay in there […] and listen to it or go back to our room to eat. I was very offended by that, but other than that it was great! Lees meer

This hotel was by far the nicest La Quinta I've ever stayed at. The front desk staff is incredible. They were very thoughtful and anticipated our every need, including answering questions before we could even ask! The room was beautiful and very clean. I was very impressed!
