Check in not at the hotel a 5 mile drive or via phone. No staff at the hotel. Staints all over the whole rooms. The dishes in the room not cleaned. 130 dollar cleaning fee, but the rooms did show a cleaning what was worth that a lot of money. TV available an old one, bad cable. I can not recommend this hotel.

My family really liked this hotel.. It is so peaceful, we had no noisy people around us.. The room was very nice. Since it had a full kitchen, it made it easy to have snacks just incase you got hungry before dinner. Besides the queen bed and the bunk beds, the couch was a pull out, so up to 6 peopl could have easily slept there.

This was the WORSE experience I have ever had in a hotel!! It was Extremely dirty and we had damage in every rioom. It is pretty sad when your 9 y/o daughter tells you she "feels unsafe and wants to leave." NEVER again!

Checked in to our room only to find that when I ran my bath water, it was dark brown and smelled like a sewer tank. Also when we arrived, our receipts stated that our rooms were paid in full, but the staff charged us an additional $118.83 for housekeeping. We loved the layout of the room- very spacious, and could sleep 6 people if needed. The pool was great! They tacked on a mandatory cleaning fee of $140 in the beginning on top of the normal room rate- I was not happy about that part. However we had a great time, and we will definitely stay here again!

The place was ok. Rather Clean. If more than two people, bring extra towels and sheets. There is a clean up fee of about 150 that is due upon check in and not included in rental rate. There is no maid service. The stocked kitchen is ok. The beach is not easily accessible. Not a Quick Walk!!! Better to drive to local beach parking location. The Hotel […] is located behind a strip mall and the "Rental Desk" is located at the very end of the Strip Mall, not near the hotel. The only convinence is that there is a nice Winn Dixie and a liquor store in the strip mall. The internet service is only located in one room per hotel tower and is dial up. I took pictures of why I did not like this hotel. It was not anything like the pictures I saw. The pool is the only positive about this hotel in my opinion. The only thing I did not get to take a picture of (that I did not like) was the hair left under the pillow on the main bed. Pool was awesome! Room was great size. Cleaniness was AWFUL the carpet is horrible the tile floors were very dirty.We had an issue with the tub being stopped up and not draining well we reported it on the first day of our stay we were told it would be fixed wasn't fixed when we left we had to take a shower in standing water. We only had 4 towels and […] 2 washclothes for 4 adults. We ask about that and was told it was standard! furinture needs to be replaced our sofa was broken. With all this being said my husband and I own a condo elsewhere and understand the occasional mishap but this had entirely too many. I believe they need new staff! Pull out couch was full of crumbs,lint, and sand. our unit had a horrible smell (almost like sewage) which I complained about but it was never corrected. Office sent 2 different maintenance men to see what the problem was but they just sprayed an aeresol and left. This was our families first time visiting Panama City Beach and we will be returning on next year along w/ more of my family. We stayed at Cabana Cay Oases Resort located behind Winn Dixie and we absolutely loved it. Our room was nice, & clean, and very convenient. We had a grocery store within walking distance. The room was very clean. The dishwasher […] & oven was just like brand new. The refrigerator was spotless. I think I spent just as much time in my room than the beach (that's how pleasant it was). It was so quiet, so peaceful, and everyone we met was so nice. We arrived on a Monday and left on a Saturday morning and the entire time we were there, we met so many families. We had no problems with noise or rude neighbors. When we did report a problem w/ our air conditiion, maintenance came within 15 mins. and fixed it. I felt very safe with my kids on this resort with security on site. We have a wonderful experience and will be returning on next year staying at the same location. If I had any complaints, it would probably be that we were not able to see the beach from our resort. The Pool was great. The room was not clean and for a cleaning fee over $70 it should have been, I had to clean the kitchen counter and coffee pot before we could use it. The grout looked like it had never been cleaned.

The condos are nice could be abit cleaner! The only redeeming feature at this complex was their pool. The bedroom carpet in our unit was filthy, as was the rug in the living area. The balcony appeared to have spit running down the walls every where you looked. There was only one patio chair, no blankets, and we had to purchase forks, spoons, and a skillet just to use the kitchen. The place is more than across the street from the beach. It is behind a Winn-Dixie and depending on which building you are in, is how far away you are. The upkeep of the room is AWFUL. The only descent thing about the place is the pool but never did we see an employee there making sure everyone was following the rules. The only thing great was the pool...the website shows pictures of room they are not up to date..the check in is hard to find..they said the condo was owned not by them so things missing like tvs and pot pans and plates they could not replace..and hiden fees they make you pay after you done paid expedia.

The hotel is nice. My room was very nice with a big balcony. This hotel has the best pool I have ever seen. The walk to the beach is a long walk. It is too far to walk with kids. I suggest driving to a public peir and park right at the beach. If you do not want to drive to the beach, you need to look at a different hotel.

the room was really musky mildew smelling when we got there. there was a weird smell out side too it just rained and it smell very fishy everywhere, the smell in the room got better. the pool is really nice but the worst was trying to get to the beach. it sits behind WinDixie and across the street there's finces all along the houses so you have to walk […] down the road to get to the beach. we had a wagon which saved us but these no way to wash the sand off you when you come off the beach. I can't find anything positive to say about Cabana Cay. It was expensive. The check in was a nightmare. The girl that checked us in scratched her head during the entire process and then touched everything. Our room was next to the trash chute which stunk terribly and was overflowing every day. There were not enough utensils nor dishes. The frig was […] broken. The master room TV was a 12". One of the toilets was clogged and I reported it to maintenance and when we left it was STILL clogged. The balcony was rusty and flooded the entire trip. The linens smelled bad. The beds were uncomfortable and worn out. The bunk beds made everyone itch .. Unsure of the reason for that (hopefully not bed bugs). The staff was rude and unorganized. Beach access was horrid. It was a long walk across a parking lot and several busy streets. The pool was nasty and would fail inspection. It was a horrible rundown DUMP. I would not recommend it to anyone. I have stayed MANY places in PCB and this was by far the absolute WORST!! There was no phone in the room. There were also HIDDEN fees!! Lees meer

There is a hidden charge of about $50 per day for cleaning that has to be paid all at check-in. The beach is within walking distance, but would not recommend if you have kids and are carrying floats, towels, coolers, etc....You do have to walk thru the condo parking lot, the Winn-Dixie parking lot, across a busy street amd a bit down before you reach […] a public beach access! We did it once but drove to the next beach access with a parking lot the next times we went to the beach. Our room was nice but we did have enough towels, silverware, or pots and pans. Our TV did not work and the pull out couch was terrible! There were no lights in the closets and our light bulb was out in the bedroom. The pool was great tho, the grounds were nice but the steps were never swept while we were there.....cig. butts, dirty cups, etc.... The place has a curfew of 10pm so things were very quiet...I can honestly say tho.....that my family had a great time together...yes, things were not as we would have liked, but we had such fun @ the beach and in the pool and going out and just hanging together... Would not recommend this hotel specifically because of the additional fees charged. The facility itself was good. Would have rated higher but for the fact that at check in we were told we had to pay an additional $118.47 for various fees which are not covered when making a reservation through Expedia. There were additional fees for check in and cleaning. […] There was also a non-refundable $40 fee for an insurance policy which would cover up to $2,000 of damage. Seems like a sure way to encourage a lot of damage to the rooms if this fee is not refundable. Location was not the greatest. Not really within walking distance of the beach. They state the closest public beach access is 1/10 of a mile away, but this is from the entry driveway to the hotel. It is at least another 1/3 mile or more from the hotel buildings to the entry driveway. The pool was very nice, the room was nice, and the facility is very close to a grocery store. All in all, a nice place but when you include in the extra fees it would be about the same price as some condo hotels right on the beach. Lees meer

I was apprehensive to stay here after reading some comments about this hotel. However, we found our room to be very nice, very clean and looked to be recently updated. The pool area was quite nice as well. The only drawback is that it is not a "long" walk to the beach but not a convenient walk either. The room had glass on the floor that my gran son stepe on glass and cut his foot . The fold out bed had use rubber in it. My grandson does not know what it is . The water spot handle came off the watter handle the sink leaked
