Wij verbleven 3 nachten in het Kokusai hotel, het hotel ligt tegenover het prachtige Nijo kasteel en tuin. Kleine kamer

Een hotel met aanzien, goede ligging te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer, de halte is voor het hotel i.v.m. het Nijo Castle.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our weeklong vacation trip in Japan during the middle of February 2012. The hotel gives you good value for the money. It is not the newest or most modern of all hotels by far, but despite being dated, it is a fairly clean and well-maintained hotel. Just be weary of non-smoking rooms that might have the lingering […] smell of smoke due to inconsiderate patrons, as of the two rooms we booked during our stay, one room smelled of cigarette smoke. Televisions are still CRT, and the windows of the hotel are single-pained so on a cold winter evening, it does feel drafty, but the beds (not exactly full double size beds, so trying to fit two grown adults in a single bed might be a bit tough) are comfortable enough and the room size itself is fairly big by Japanese standards. The location is very convenient - right across the street from the hotel is the Nijo castle, which is one of the most popular tourist spots to visit for tourists visiting Kyoto, and is also located very conveniently to a bus stop. (Note for those that have never been to Kyoto that in Kyoto, buses is your best mode of transportation to get to most all the major tourist spots in Kyoto, and a good value for the money when you buy the daily limitless bus pass that entitles you to ride the buses all day long for a low set fee. Just be sure that when you arrive to Kyoto's JR train station to stop by their information booth and pick up a free bus map in the language of your choice. The free bus map is your lifeline to getting around Kyoto without fear of getting lost) The front desk staff at the hotel was very friendly and courteous, and is fluent in English so they will be more than happy to help you out with whatever questions you may have for them. In summary, good value for the money, wouldn't mind staying there again for its convenience. Hotel is a bit dated, but for the most part clean and comfortable and quiet. Hotel has huge lobby with several gift shops and restaurants. Directly across from the Imperial Palace. Hotel is a little long in the tooth, but benefits out weigh this.

It's a nice hotel, but the facilities seem a little worn out, staffs are really friendly and helpful, though their english is not so well. The hotel located just opposite to 二条城, but the traffic there is not so convienient since the passing bus is few. But overall, the hotel is good, with a nice price

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and we found the service was excellent. The room is very clean with good housekeeping everyday. Compliment to all the staff. The location is convenience to access by city bus and subway train. Definitely will stay again and recommend to my friends.

Nice hotel, very conveniently located.... fursnishing is a little worn out, but I found charm, but it is very clean, the japanese way, and nothing to claim against. One direct bus from the Kyoto station, this too is very convenient, and drop right in front of the hotel. Unusual large bathroom for those who, like myself, are accustomed to tiny places […] where toilets, lavabo and ofuro as squeezed in a tiny place. Best price quality to be found I think.... This is a beautiful hotel with a nice garden. Staff is very polite and helpful. I wish I could spend more days there to enjoy the embian.

This hotel is centrally located for all of the Kyoto sights....wonderful. It is across from the Nijo Castle and not far from the Kyoto Imperial Palace, (a short 15 min. walk ). We loved the service by the hotel's staff. Everyone was so nice and accomodating. We will stay there again next year. Kyle & Mikiko

I would like to state that this hotel, is a well located Hotel in Kyoto and the service is very good. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. The double room I had was spacious and very comfortable. The floor I was in had a great view of the city. Enjpoyed my stay at the hotel.

the hotel was close nough to Nijo station and can be accessed via the JR trains and pass from kyoto station. the hotel is litrally oppisite the kyoto castle. facilities in the hotel was ok, they used a lock and key system, the tv was one of the old square boxes (lol) but the facilities were decent. the hotel lounge and ground was quite spacious with […] 2 resturants, sovinair shop and some other stores. the staff where helpful with decent english skills Lees meer

Hotel right across the street from subway and Nijo Castle, very convenient. Quiet area, few nearby restaurants. Restaurants in hotel good but expensive. Shopping area/ downtown not far by subway.

My husband and I and our son visited Japan to see our younger son who lives in Sapporo.We met him in Kyoto to explore the area.This hotel is across from the castle and near a subway station. The rooms are very spacious and we met in the lounge for continental breakfast every morning--great start for the day of exploring.There is also a beautiful garden […] that is visible from 2 of the restaurants. I loved everything about the hotel-staff were helpful for local restaurants also. If I ever visit Kyoto again I will stay here. Lees meer

In a good location a short walk from a subway station, across the road from Nijo Castle (which also has a bus stop out the front). Staff were very helpful with checking in and leaving luggage. Bicycle hire was cheap (Y1000 for a day) and convenient. Breakfast at the hotel was slightly on the expensive side, but there are not many alternative options […] in the area. The only disappointing aspect was that I was not offered a non-smoking floor (although I'm not sure if these were available), and the smell of cigarette smoke permeated everything in the room. Location of this hotel can be somewhat problem for travelers carrying big baggages. We went this hotel with taxi from Kyoto station and it costed about 1,200 yen. but if you want to go there by bus, subway, or JR, then it will not be easy. Hotel amenity and room was old but clean and staffs were comfortible and nice. And it is very close to Nijo castle […] and Kyoto imperial palace. Lees meer

Hotel personnel are courteous and hospitable. Can speak good English. Good location wherein it is accessible to public transportations. You can actually walk down to Gion street where restaurants and shopping places are located. In front of Nijo Castle. Very accessible to where the temples are located. I would like to get back in our next visits.

It was a relatively normal hotel. What made me choose it is... it's great location! Just across Nijo Castle & it is infront a bus stop that can bring you to Kyoto Station & back. What surprised me the most & is an added "perk" are the very friendly & accomodating staff. From the front desk, to the waiters, to the doorman. I also love the fact that […] they try to understand you even if not all of them can speak English. Just one negative comment (which I'm sure they can improve on easily), is that they're bed cover was not so clean & a bit stained. Other than that...I recommend it for the 2 reasons above. Lees meer

Hotel service was friendly and accommodating. Very clean room and common areas. Room large compared to all other experience in Japan. Hotel is very convenient to Nijo Castle, bus and subway routes, but it is a 15-20 minute commute. If your not adventurous, you may prefer to take a taxi. Everyone asked about transportation provided excellent directions […] and the map provided on booking was helpful. Neighbourhood was fine, though you may want to walk on main roads after dark as everything on side streets close at 5:00-6:00pm. The price may be a bit high due to the dated decor of the room. overall reasonable hotel to stay in terms of price and the service one get. The location is good if not ideal and depends what one want to do in Kyoto.

We had a wonderful experience in this hotel, very close to subway, short walk to an amazing market and Asakusa(about 10 mins) lovely Japaneze garden with swans, beds comfortable, very clean, huge bedroom, exceeded our expectations, staff lovely no complaints whatsoever, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would reccommend it.

Very good value, excellent service, good location, overall very positively surprised. I did not have any meals except for the very filling breakfast buffet since Kyoto is full of typical restaurants at all price levels. Metro line across the street takes you to the center of Kyoto (only 2 stations - price only 160 yen) The hotel has a beautiful and […] well-maintained Japanese garden. 何よりも立地が良いこと。サービスも押し付けがましくないこと。歴史あるホテルなのですべてにゆったりしていること。 派手さ豪華さはないがそれだけに気の休まるホテルです。

京都景点分散，感觉住哪都差不多！这个酒店地点不错，从京都站四站地铁就到了（需换乘1次）！二条城和京都御苑走着就到！远点的地方bus和地铁都有！房间很大，但装修有点过时！最要命的是部分房间无网络，我们还赶上了，所以有点不方便！其他都OK！

飯店坐落於二條城旁，環境相當良好 相對於價位來說，房間大小相當的大，很高級 交通也滿方便的，飯店前就有公車站，轉個路口就有地鐵 因為一大早就先去報到，飯店人員接收了行李後自動幫我們搬到房間了，服務相當棒 唯一覺得不夠滿意的地方是飯店的電視是舊型的CRT，希望能夠更新成支援數位電視的新型電視

建物と設備に古さは否めないが、客室が広く、手入れが行き届いている。ただ、シャワーの湯量・水勢に不便を感じた。立地からみれば、ビジネスより観光向きだろう。全体的には、信頼できるホテルという印象だ。

在那里一连住了4天，原本的semi-double被升级成了double房，房间真的很好，服务也好。位置就在二条城的对面，算是京都的中心位置。门口的巴士虽然不多，但往东西南北的都包括了，稍微转一下车的话所以地方就都能到了。 唯一不好的地方是没有免费的公用电脑，使用酒店提供的电脑的话10分钟要100日元。。。。我们住的所有酒店这是唯一一家要钱的。。。

雖然飯店有點年紀，但是算乾淨，且就在二条城對面，門口就有巴士站，去觀光景點都蠻方便，晚上非常寧靜，走十分鐘就有超市、居酒屋，下次再去京都，會再住這裡。

駐車場が無料はとても助かりました。 欲をいえば、もう少し駐車スペースが広いと嬉しかったです。 部屋をランクアップして二条城側にして頂いて嬉しく思いました。 誕生日だったこともありステキなプレゼントでした。 周りには散歩するには、十分な場所があり気持ち良く歩けました。 また 利用したいてと思います。

每天都整理的很乾淨,住起來很舒服,交通位置雖然不在市中心,但交通很方便,有多班公車經過,但是沒有網路,對慣用網路的人可能有所不便,但都到京都了其實暫時擺拖網路控制,保留精神欣賞京都的美又未嘗不是壞事~

니죠성 옆이라 찾기가 쉬웠고 교통도 매우 편리하였습니다. 전반적으로 중후한 느낌이 더 들어 나이드신 분들이 많았는데, 젊은 느낌보다는 전통적인 느낌을 찾고 싶어서 잘 갔다고 생각합니다. 시설도 서비스도 만족스러웠는데 얘기하다보니 아침식사 할인쿠폰도 받을 수 있어 감사했습니다. 기초적인 일어와 기본적인 영어를 아는 정도라 걱정했는데 의사소통도 잘 통해 다행이었습니다.

房間內不能上網，較不便！:< 但房間面積較大，住得舒適。
