"A Gem in Brattleboro"
Staying in bed and breakfasts is always a surprise. Some don't have heat, some don't have hot water, some are overly cluttered, all in the name of charm. The 1868 Crosby house is NONE of the above. This B and B is truly a gem. Lynn is a gracious host who has thought of virtually everything to make her guests feel welcome. She sees this as her business […] and not just a chance to recoup some of her investment. It is her business, and she does it exceptionally well. "Lovely setting, genial host"
We checked in late, and found a welcoming room! The breakfast in the morning was wonderful - fruit and scones, a lovely frittata. Our son is goign to college nearby, and we'd definitely stay again!

"Don't Stay Anywhere Else"
Absolutely best B&B we've ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we felt as if we were the most important guests. Lynn gave us a tour showing where the games and movies could be found, shared with us that the fridge of waters and sodas were complimentary at any time and made sure we understood how the 24-hr (good!) coffee and cocoa worked. Our […] room had a cozy, working fireplace, and the dual-head shower was a nice surprise. We were given the option of choosing our breakfast time with coffee and juice arriving on a tray a half hour prior. After our delicious hot breakfast, Lynn made certain to point out the available snowshoeing gear (free!) and helped us understand the trail just behind the house. We were sorry we only had one night as Brattleboro seemed like an adorable town. We will absolutely stay here anytime we're within a 100 miles. Many thanks to our hosts for an incredible stay! "Outstanding B&B"
From the minute we stepped over the threshold, Lynn, the Innkeeper, was friendly and helpful. The B&B that she and her husband redid was their family home before the kids moved on. It is so charming and spotless. Choose your time for breakfast. Get a tray with hot coffee 1/2 hour before; breakfast was beautifully presented and yummy. Cookies, tea, coffee […] out all night. Refrig near the room holds cold waters and sodas. It was the very best I have ever stayed in. We had a fireplace in the room and a TV. We hope to go back.
