Awesome stay... Excellent employees.. Room was SPOTLESS!!

This was a great experience in choosing the right hotel. Comfortable, very reasonable, staff was awesome and helpful. Room was clean and nice. It has changed my mind on thinking that you have to pay more to get the best! Better than some of the most expensive hotels that I have stayed in!

I was not familiar with the KCI area. I needed a hotel close to the airport within the budget range of my company. I was not familiar with Candelwood Suites, but selected it. It was a mistake. First, Candlewood is more for long term stays and does not have many of the same features that other brands have. The shuttle service from the airport was appalling. After you've been traveling for 15 hours and taken three flights, the last thing you want is to stand helplessly for close to an hour waiting for an airport hotel shuttle. I only needed to be in Kansas City overnight and I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and where I needed to be and had a good price. There was also a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The room was nice and had a refrigerator and microwave.

A clean hotel, friendly staff, conveniently located near the airport and Zona Rosa but away from the noise. We were very happily surprised with the big screen plasma TV and the DVD player. What a treat when you have kids!!! The kitchen comes fully equipped and even with complimentary coffee and when I asked for a late check out, all I heard was 'sure, […] no problem'? Nice room with good amenities. But beware, no continental breakfast. I guess I've come to expect this and didn't ask.

Hotel was very clean and spacious rooms. But if you are planning on parking there and flying, DON'T, we called and specifically requested park and fly and when we checked in it was not available. We were flying out of Kansas City Airport and needed an inexpensive place to stay the night before. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the convienience store in the hotel lobby to purchase a quick snack before bed. Parking was sparse and we had to park at the hotel next door and walk across the parking lot.

My family and I (including one small dog) stayed for one night (early flight out of MCI and didn't want to drive that early). The hotel was clean and the room was awesome for the price. I will now look for Candlewood hotels each place I visit if the experience is this nice and comfortable. The staff was great and the room was better then expected for the price. I will defiantly stay at the Candlewood again. The bed was Heavenly!

Only there for one night, room was clean and comfortable..... No one at check in when I arrived, waited for about 5 minutes for employee to return. Talked to several extended stay guest, in lobby this appears to be common problem. Check out next morning , desk clerk did get up or ask how things were . I arrived in cold weather and they had snow piled […] in parking area , most guest had to park at Comfort inn next door. Excellent place to stay, especially if you plan to fly from KCI. They service to and from KCI was excellent. The rooms were fresh and clean.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I made my reservation through Hotels.com for a quick business trip where I actually stayed at two seperate hotels. One in Topeka, KS and this one locate close to Kansas City Airport. I have traveled constantly throughout the past five years and this hotel rates as one of my top hotels. There was a recliner in the room which is nice so you don't have to sit HBO. The bed was very comfortable. The towels were nice and thick and were absent of stains or thin spots and were nice sized. If I were to make any improvements it would be to improve the hot water. You definitely wouldn't have to worry about steaming up the mirror in the bathroom. Actually I had to stand in the water constantly to keep warm. Other than that my stay was extremely comfortable. I had everything I needed, coffeemaker, microwave, cooktop, full size refrigerator etc. I have stayed at several extended stay hotels throughout the United States and at most of them you do not have everything you need. At Candlewood they even supply you with basics as far as dishes, eating utensils, cooking utensils and even coffee, creamer, sugar & etc. Makes me wonder why I never stayed at a Candlewood before. The other hotel that I stayed at was not even an extended stay hotel and I paid more to stay there than I did at Candlewood! As an extremely finicky business woman I say Kudos to Candlewood! Friendly staff. Nice room with plenty of amenities. Super clean... it's an amazing value for the money you pay... if you want to feel at home, this is the best hotel for you.... i would strongly recommend this hotel...

I stated in this hotel one night and it was a good hotel close to the KC airport. The staff were friendly the beds comfortable and the rooms clean. This was a great room for the price.

Great place for a one-night stay, or longer since it has a kitchenette. Everything was new and clean. Right across from the airport, plus very near Zona Rosa shopping.

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to where we needed to be. The property was very nice. Comfy beds! The front desk people leave a lot to be desired. I have never met a ditsier bunch of young men in my life. The coffee machine was empty for the last 5 days of our stay. No one new how fill it or make more. The first two days that the machine […] had coffee, they couldn't find cups. Fortunately they were kind enough to give us coffee packets to make coffee in your room. It's a great place to stay but if you need info, google it because the staff couldn't find their butts with both hands!. Safe & clean we will stay there again. After check-in we got into our room only to find out that the TV did not work. After several attempts by us and the staff, it was decided that "rebooting the system" should fix the problem. We left to go eat dinner expecting a working TV when we returned. When they reset the system, they forgot to reactivate the room key so we had to make another trip […] to the front desk to take care of that. Upon entering the room, our TV still did not work. They relocated us to another room which was supposed to be a king suite. It turned out to be a queen suite with handicap accessibility. The room was fine, however, apparently handicap accessibility in the bathroom does not include any counter space on which to place your cosmetics. None! We made due, but will probably never book this particular hotel again. Lees meer
