We waren met 14 personen: 13 dames en de buschauffeur. We waren enorm onder de indruk toen we de oprijlaan opreden............ en we bléven onder de indruk. Het was super! Het is tevens een enorm goede uitvalsbasis wanneer je Bath, Bristol en de Cotswolds wil gaan bezoeken. Ook is dit een prachtige omgeving voor wandelaars en natuurliefhebbers. Goede keuken; geweldig ontbijt en vooral ook veel rust. Veel waarde voor je geld! Warm aanbevolen door mijn groep. Groetjes, Carina Hensgens

Bij dit keurige hotel ligt een klein attractiepark voor kinderen. Het hotel heeft ook een heksje staan bij de ingang en ook bij het eten is een levende heks aanwezig. Bij het hotel zijn grotten te bezoeken en ook een kinder attractiepark. Het hotel is nieuwgebouwd, is keurig maar een beetje sfeerloos. Het is schoon, kamer is groot en het eten wordt in het gebouw aan de overzijde geserveerd. Het eten is redelijk lekker. Er is vollop keuze.

Rustig gelegen hotel, mooie kamers maar niet al te groot, goed ontbijt. In de omgeving is op loopafstand weinig te doen, 10 min met de auto leuke pub om te gaan eten.

Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Very comfortable and well located"
Stayed for one night after watching the rugby. Very comfortable and a good breakfast. Located up a hill but easy to walk, and back from city centre.

Had a wonderful stay at Astors Guest house. It is in fact up the hill from the city center, but that's what gave the beautiful view from our window. Cute guest house with charm. A bit of a walk to the town center. It is a further walk than what appears on the website. Not bad if you want to go for a stroll but too far to walk from train station with luggage.

The room was comfortable & well presented. It was a little farther from the town than we had anticipated & whilst walking down was reasonable - the return journey was definitely a taxi ride.

Beautiful house & gardens in a cute neighborhood. Short drive into Bath where parking is convenient. Great breakfast in the morning.

...but bath is not as beautiful as described, we actually found it depressing. the hotel was good, that`s for sure!

"Great stay!"
This is a wonderful place. Clean, friendly staff and owner; great breakfast.
Not overly impressed with this B&B compared to the others we stayed at during our trip. There was something wrong with the bathroom or pipes when we arrived because there was a very bad smell. Not keen on carpet in the bathroom either. Breakfast fairly basic and the room was a bit cramped.

All in all a good experience, nicely located a 10 minute walk from town with off-street parking available. Room was nice, breakfast was tasty and apart from a little maintenance being needed around the place a perfect stay.

lovely hotel near to central bath, close, within walking distance and on the flat to some nice restaurants and a good pub, the hotel was clean and well decorated, our room had lovely views across Bath was comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, and lots of soaps, shampoos and bod lotions. The staff were very welcoming and […] helpful, Breakfast was well cooked and plenty of it, we were even asked if we wanted more. "I loved the Astor House!!!!!!"
I loved the Astor House!!! My accomodations were lovely, large and immaculate. The only item, being used to electronic keys and doors thath lock behind you, I forgot to actually use the key and lock the door behind me. It took me a dy and a half to ralize that . After saying that knowing that I forgot to lock my door, I am thrilled to stay that there […] was not one item missing. So I thought it was fantastically safe. Please note that outside door does lock behind you. Overall the breakfast was delicious, there was a teapot in my room, the bathroom was brand new tile. It was a walk up the hill, but at the bottom of the hill was a bus station and for 1 pound I caught that in the evening to catch a ride to the top of the hill, it was perfect. I would absolutely recommend the Astor House and stay there the next time visitng Bath. Lees meer

We only stayed for 1 night as a stopover and were able to check in unannounced at 12pm. We had a standard double in the top which was recently refurbished to a good standard - except a yellowy old hairdryer left from the 80s! The bathroom was very tired however. Whilst we were there, there was more (quiet) refurbishment going on which should improve […] this guesthouse. A bigger problem was that we couldn't turn the heating down which meant we slept with the window open on a cold night - although it was very quiet. The garden was beautiful and the location ideal for us as very peaceful, car park and short walk to town. I would recommend for someone looking for a short stay in Bath where you're not looking to spend much time in the guesthouse - partly because there seemed a lack of alternatives at a decent price. Hotel plaisant séjour agréable
"Lindo pero no tan cerca del centro"
La casa esta linda, nadie te molesta, el desayuno muy bien... Lo unico es que de dia si es "facil" llegar al centro caminando pero complicado para regresar en la tarde/noche, los autobuses pasan cada 40 minutos y el taxi sale entre 5 y 6 libras desde el centro...

このハウスは静かな住居環境にあるので、環境としてはとてもいいと思いますが、町の中心まで歩いて20分か25分位かかるので、ちょっと不便です。 車で行こうと思えば、5時間以上町の中にいる予定ならいいのですが、それ以下なら駐車料金が高めなので、あまりお勧めしない。

Jag skulle inte kalla Astor House för hotell, det liknar mera en B&B. Rummet var OK, rent o trevligt. Frukosten var generös och personalen vänlig. Det jag blev besviken på var avståndet till centrum och det romerska badhuset - på hemsidan står att hotellet ligger i närheten av dessa. "Quando chegamos, não vimos ninguém"
Hotel muito confortável, bem decorado, quarto acolhedor, banheiro privativo limpo, café da manhã delicioso. Só aconteceu uma coisa esquisita. Quando chegamos, nossas chaves estavam esperando por nós, mas não havia ninguém no hotel. Havia um aviso grudado na porta, com nosso nome e o local onde as chaves estavam escondidas. Nós as achamos, mas só falamos […] com a gerente, no dia seguinte, depois do café da manhã. Durante todo esse tempo, não vimos viva alma no hotel. "Bidt af væggelus!"
Vi overnattede en nat på dette B & B og jeg vågnede op med 20 bid af væggelus! Rigtig træls oplevelse! Hævede og væskede... æv. Sengen (værelse 4) meget gammel og alt for kort! Ventilator på wc larmede meget! B&B ligger godt i forhold til byen, men er ret dyrt i forhold til hvad man får for pengene. Vi kommer ikke tilbage!

Fin beliggenhed, men ikke i gåafstand til Bath hvis man har børn med. Værelserne er små og lidt slidte, men ellers ok. Typisk engelsk morgenmad :-)

Mysigt hemlikt ställe, trevlig stämning. Dubbelsängen var i minsta laget för två storvuxna svenskar, men gott om kuddar, rent och fräscht. Billigt, lätt och snabbt att ta taxi dit från stationen. Promenad till centrum tar 15-20 min.
