Cotswold House - Guest house in Oxford

Good place to stay. Reasonably priced. Non greasy English breakfast is a plus.

Quite comfortable n good breakfast. Beds are not maintained well with sound.

This B&B is misrepresented in your description of rooms available..We expected twin beds joined together and we had 2 single beds in extremely close quarters with bedspreads consisting of old drapes which were in shreads. Upon leaving we were shown the other rooms including the main suite down stairs which was exactly what we would have taken especially […] when told all rooms were the same price..Also we were unable to use the shower during the 3 days we we there as the pressure which was very poor would not change from boiling to moderate as it was not functionlng properly.The owner stated "oh well this is English plumbing and there is little to be done" However on talking to other guests in the B&B they said their plumbing was fine.As for the host we feel he was not quite believeable as to his lack of knowledge on the plumbing problems whereas the hostess was gracious and helpful. We would say to anyone considering staying at this B&B make sure you do not get room # 2 as it is deplorable and should not be considered as acceptable to be listed as such with Hotels.com We stayed at several 5 star hotels around the UK and not one did we pay as much as we did here and all others were as listed being either 4 or 5 star hotels. This establishment is not a hotel by any stretch and is strictly a B&B. with possibly a 2 star rating..After spending 3 weeks in England Scotland and Wales we only had this one blip during our vacation and will make sure next time that we stay only in regognised hotels. Also this room did not have a single easy chair to relax in but 2 plain hard back old dining room chairs.Oh yes this is a first for us to stay in a place where there is no phone in the room and only a emergency phone in the kitchen. downstairs. I wonder what one would do in a real emergency and not be able to get downstairs.. please question as to what is available in your room before reserving. . Lees meer

A slightly unconventional B&B as the owners do not live in the house. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and traditional English breakfast. Though outside of Oxford the house is on the direct bus line into the city with very frequent buses and within walking distance to shops and resaurants. The room was very clean though facing the main road, if you are a light sleeper you should reserve a room on the other side and not on the main road, the location is good, just 10mns walk from Summertown with shops, restaurants etc., the breakfast on offer was all freshly cooked so you could order what you wanted. My room was small but staff were very friendly and overall experience was positive. Good location, a ten minute walk from town center. Excellent breakfast included in price.

ホテルの値段といい食事としい申し分ないです。 スタッフもフレンドリーで会話が弾みました。 I'm leaving my heart at this hotel. といったら 笑われました。泊まっている宿泊客とも話が弾み 写真などもいっしょにとりよい思い出になりました。

Glimrende B&B i udkanten af Oxford. Morgenmaden og servicen er fin. Værelset har glimrende senge, tv og køleskab, samt kaffemaskine. Der er hurtigt og tilmed gratis trådløst internet. Der er bus lige uden for døren, der kører til centrum.

Ein schöner und umsorgter Platz, speziell für Leute, die mit dem Auto reisen. Die Lage etwas nördlich von Oxford-Zentrum im Vorort Summerville ist ausgezeichnet per Motorway erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Le bed & breakfast est situé à environ 2 miles en dehors de Oxford. Il faut prendre un bus afin de se rendre dans le centre ville. Das Gästehaus mit nur 7 Zimmern liegt am Ortsrand in einer Siedlung. Die Zimmer sind einfach aber sauber und haben einen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und wird vom sehr freundlichen Inhaber und seinem Personal ständig frisch zubereitet und servíert. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert.
