Check in was okay, friendly and helpfull. The lift to the second floor is quite small, but at least there is a lift. Room was big enough, clean, nice flat screen TV, bathroom was a bit outdated, clean and functional. Very friendly manager who prepared the full Engish breakfast himself. Price/quality is good. If we would have been there in Spring or Summer, our stay would have been even nicer,

"Prima hotel midden in het centrum"
Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 15 dec, 2012Prima hotel. Een authentiek gebouw, mooi opgeknapt van binnen. Kamer Brewser, had prima bedden, mooie badkamer, koffie/thee faciliteiten en tv. Kamer is niet supergroot, maar om er te slapen is het prima. Goede en lekkere ontbijtkeuze. Aardige beheerder. En last but not least het ligt pal in het centrum, mooier kan niet 50 m van de kathedraal en tussen de winkels. Tip:zet je auto bij park en ride ( 2,50 pound p dag). Bussen rijden op en neer. In het centrum mag je maar 12 uur staan en is duur.

"Our 2 nights stay in a familyroom"

The hotel was very easy to find and close to the M20 motorway, but you can't hear any noise coming from the M20. The older lady at the reception (don't know her name, sorry!) was very friendly and helpfull and gave us a "coming home" feeling. She recommended some points of interest were could go our first day. She does a really good job! The other staff members were also very friendly. The room was clean and the beds slept very well, the kids had to sleep on the bed-couch and there was no complaint from them. The Breakfast in the morning was very good and nothing complain about. Holiday Inn Express Folkstone: we'll be your guest again!

Lovely, welcoming owners. Comfortable bed. Literally everything I might need had been considered, including several things I wouldn't have thought of but which were thoughtful extras. The guest house was in a quiet location not far from the town centre. It was a very friendly welcome. The guest house was in a perfect location at 5 mins walking distance to main Broadstairs town and shops. The Guest house owners were friendly, breakfast was really fresh and with a little difference to the norm.
