Hotel Neptuno Gran Canaria in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Super hotel, pal naast de Yumbo, sommige kamers zullen hierdoor geluidsoverlast hebben, vraag hier naar bij inchecken! Grootste voordel, 18+ hotel. Geen schreeuwende kinderen in eetzaal of aan zwembad, serene rust, heerlijk!

Good customer service. Food not great, more variety needed. I chose this hotel because it was near the Yumbo Centre. I was not dissapointed. Use the gate at the back of the hotel and you are standing outside the Yumbo Centre. Great location.

This is my first stay in Neptuno and I will definitely be back. The hotel was really central to everything, so no taxis. We went half board and got breakfast and dinner included. The food was top notch especially the evening meal. Only minor issue was that the different reception staff gave conflicting infomation and could have been more friendly.

Everyone was friendly and very helpful: especially Paco who went out of way to help the hotel guests. The hotel is in a perfect location for nightlife. The breakfast was good.

We stayed at Hotel Neptuno for 6 days in mid-December and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very well maintained, extremely clean, and every staff member we met was very friendly and helpful. As you'll read in other reviews, you can here the music from the Yumbo center in your rooms through the night, but if your balcony doors are closed it's […] not too bad. Since the rooms facing the pool also face the Yumbo, request a room facing the street if you're concerned about noise. While we had a great stay and would recommend the hotel, the one major complaint we had is about the beds. We booked a double bed and instead were given two single beds pushed together and the hotel said this was "normal" in Europe. Sorry, but a double bed is a double bed and single beds are single beds. Sleeping in a single bed is uncomfortable when you're used to larger beds and makes intimacy very uncomfortable as well. Lees meer

A nice hotel close to Yombo and a lot of restaurants in the niegborhoud. The bad things is noise from deleverytrucks for Yombo and some of the shopkeepers in Yombo.

This is a really nice hotel with lots of (slightly eccentric!) character. It's literally adjacent to the Yumbo Centre and so great for gay nightlife. Pros: Generous, high quality breakfast and dinner buffets; lovely pool; comfortable rooms; nice touches like fresh flowers every day; happy and chatty staff; very friendly atmosphere to meet others. I really enjoyed my stay here in March 2011. It was a first for me to go away on my own (my partner didn’t have the leave left) and I am so pleased I made this choice. The hotel was welcoming, friendly and safe and there were other single travellers, too. Yes, it is a little 1970s, but none the worst for it. The room was spotlessly clean and the army […] of maids who descend on the hotel each morning is proof that they are well employed. The air conditioning worked well, and the provision of tea making facilities was a nice touch (even though they use condensed milk!). The TV channels were limited but I used my laptop for free wifi to keep in touch. There is also an internet centre for those who haven’t brought their laptop with them. There is a shop in the foyer and huge indoor seating areas, some with games tables, none of which were crowded. I only took breakfast. It was impressive, fresh and tasty. As much as you wanted. I soon discovered that there were good and bad times to go down. Sometimes it was like a market but if you chose right it was as calm as anything. Food never ran out, even at 11am when Breakfast ends. In the early evenings the hot water could have been hotter but in the morning and afternoons it was plentiful, and it really wasn’t a deal breaker. As a gay man the beauty for me was to be in an adults only hotel with a high proportion of gay men – probably 60%. The remaining guests were mainly older married couples. The hotel has a back entrance straight into the Yumbo Centre – ideal for getting back from the clubs. My room was at the end so I didn’t get a pool view but it was quite quiet. Neptuno was an excellent hotel in the wrong place! The rooms were good and the restaurant excellent. however the noise coming from the Yumbo Centre until 3.30am made sleeping almost impossible - even with the supplied ear plugs.

Lokalizacja dość dobra, tuż przy centrum handlowym Yambo. Komfort rzeczywiscie cztery gwiazdki,Personel nieuprzejmy - z powodu upadku linii lotniczej dotarłem do hotelu póżniej niz zamierzałem, pobyt był opłacony. Gdy powiadomilem o tym fakcie recepcję, to bardzo natarczywie korespondowano ze mną o której będę w hotelu, tak jakby chciano się upewnic […] czy mój pokój można jeszcze komuś wynajac na jedną dobę! Die Halbpension war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist besser geeignet für jüngere Leute. Im Jumbo Markt machen die letzten Restautant's um 06.00 h zu. Die Zimmermädchen arbeiten sehr unterschiedlich.(Die eine war super, die andere vergass sogar die Handtücher) Allgemein war es ok, ist halt einfach laut und wenn die Hotelgäste nach Haue kommen schletzen sie die […] Zimmertüre. Sentralt ved Jumbo-shoppingssenter. Shop `til you drop! Alt av taxier og busser i umiddelbar nærhet. Masse bra spisesteder. Fine rom, balkonger inn mot poolen, perfekt aircondition, nydelig frokostbuffèt, men hotellet har sett sine bedre dager, både utvendig og innvendig. Det er vel snart på tide med en totalrenovering? Behold personalet - for de gjør […] en utmerket jobb og er alltid serviceinnstilte. Hotellet er kun for voksne 18+ og passer derfor perfekt om du vil ha det stille og rolig. La vicinanza allo Yumbo è sia una manna che un tormento. La musica assordante proveniente dai vari locali continua fino alle 4 del mattino e per chi aveva certe camere era impossibile dormire a meno di non usare i tappi per le orecchie (fornite dall'hotel). Per il resto l'albergo merita per la sua posizione in centro città e non troppo distante dal […] mare. Le camere sono confortevoli, con tutti i confort, molti cuscini, televisione lcd, minibar, bollitore per caffè o tea, balcone con poltrone e tavolino. Il bagno è con vasca con doccino e tutte le necessita (bidet, shampoo, docciaschiuma, lima per unghie, phon etc). Buona la pulizia. Il ristorante è una nota a parte. Premetto che viene usato solo per colazione e cena (l'eventuale pranzo - solo per l'all inclusive - al bar in piscina). La colazione è continentale, con angolo dolci, dispenser per l'erogazione delle bibite calde e caraffe per i succhi. La cena è su due turni, servizio a buffet con tavolo riservato (assegnato il primo giorno dal metre). Peccato che essendoci pochi tavoli da 2 posti ci è capitato ci mettessero in un tavolo da 4 con una coppia sconosciuta. immaginate l'imbarazzo di cenare con gente che non si conosce. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze la scelta e è tra: al max 1 / 2 primi (quando c'erano), 2 / 3 secondi con 2 contorni (show cooking per carne e pesce), ricco invece il buffet delle insalate. La cucina è molto internazionale. Giudicherei l'albergo un 3 * sup, considerando che la piscina non è una pozza. Lees meer
