Kleinschalig hotel/pension. Personeel werkt goed samen en is gedeeltelijk familie van elkaar. Het was niet super deluxe maar dat zochten en wilden we ook niet. Voor de prijs die we betaald hebben zijn we tevreden. Het restaurant is verpacht. Het ontbijt was prima en s'avonds kun je er voor een redelijke prijs goed eten. De receptie is dag en nacht bezet en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam ondanks de taalbarrière. De ligging is wat verder buiten de binnenstad maar er stopt een bus voor de deur. Met bus, tram en metro kun je overal komen. We zijn er nu twee keer geweest (Januari en maart) en vinden de prijs- kwaliteitverhouding prima.

Wij vonden het personeel erg vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed. De kamers die wij hadden waren klein maar schoon en alles was er. De prijs/kwaliteit echt top! In de buurt was het makkelijk parkeren en er waren meerdere leuke eethuisjes en café's.

Het hotel ligt zeer gunstig t.o.v. het openbaar vervoer , het metro station en de bus stations voor de deur . Kamer was een beetje klein , maar wel netjes. De badkamer was OK. Het ontbijt was OK , maar de koffie smaakte nergens naar. De prijs / kwaliteitsverhouding is ook zeer acceptabel. De informatie aan de balie was erg mager , je moest alles vragen en er uit trekken.

"Palazzo Zichy in een buurt vol terassen"
Dit is een prima hotel,mooi uitgevoerd en het ligt goed, aan de rand van het centrum. Het personeel is service gericht en efficient.WIFI gratis en ook de mogelijkheden om te printen, dat kom je niet vaak tegen. Als er al een opmerkimg is: de bedden zijn wel wat hard. maar ook dat kon opgelost worden. We hebben genoten vaan het hoyel
"Palazzo Zichy - Fantastisch hotel in Budapest"
Dit is echt een heerlijk hotel. Het ligt in een leuke wijk, dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. De wijk zelf heeft veel gezellige restaurants en terrasjes. De metro is op 5 minuten. Onze kamer was fantastisch met alle benodigdheden. Het ontbijt is uitstekend, net als de service (tot 17.00 uur gratis heerlijke koffie, thee, water in de lounge!). Mooi hotel, heel vriendelijk personeel aan de receptie. Gratis koffie/thee dienst tot 17.00! Enig minpunt geen room service noch restaurant, gezien het slechte weer welk wij hadden hadden we geen zin om buitenshuis iets te eten maar waren wel verplichts vermits missende F&B service

Beautiful, immaculate, modern hotel within historic building, conveniently located, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast in pristine restaurant. Wonderful find!

"Very modern and nice looking"
The rooms were a little dark with wooden panel floors. Plus the position for the connecting doors were poor as it blocked the front walkway. The breakfast was good in a very nice cafe. Staff were very friendly. Area is a little in the middle of nowhere. We were driving so its not too bad. Parking is VERY hard to find anywhere in Budapest!

"The Best Service!"
Plazzo Zichy was amazing, the hotel was a beautiful mix of classic contemporary with Mordern finishing. The breakfast was amazing and the quality of the staff and service was out of this world. I would love to go back to Budapest and stay at Plazzo Zichy!
"Seasoned travelers"
We really enjoyed our stay in Budapest. The service, location and people were all enjoyable. Located right out the front entrance is a small, beautiful catholic church. When we travel,l our first stop is to find a catholic church and attend mass. It was perfect for us to have a chuch so close by. The mass was in Hungarian, but i believe they have an […] english mass on Sat. I can't say enough about Hungarian people..very warm. The only little issue we had is the water pipes drain at different hrs. If you're a light sleeper you may want to request a room that doesn't have this issue. "A Beautiful Palace"
Once owned by the Zichy family and converted into a wonderful hotel. You must take a taxi as you would have to wheel your luggage over too many cobblestones. Great free breakfast. 10 minute walk to metro.

I find it hard to find anything negative about this beautiful, contemporary boutique hotel. Perhaps it is overdoing the energy saving a bit (rooms a bit dim and water just warm), but the excellent service more than makes up for it. A relative bargain.

"Nice hotel for short stay!"
I am older and my only complaint is that the bed was too firm for my back! The decor is great, the bathroom is very nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious! I would recommend this hotel for anyone, especially young people!

We spent four nights at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I would strongly recommend this to anyone visiting Budapest. The room was lovely and very clean and the staff could not have been more helpful. They breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. It was a terrific experience.

The hotel itself is fabulous inside. Our room was completely adequate and the furnishings were nice. In fact, it seemed like a wonderful respite to the dirty, crowded streets we walked on to arrive at the hotel. Fabulous hotel with amazing staff and service. The breakfasts were wholesome,delicious and with great variety (including prose co with breakfast! The rooms were recently renovated (including heated mirrors in the bathroom that don't fog up during a shower). There are black out curtains to ensure a long uninterrupted sleep. This hotel should teach best practices to all other hotels of any size. This medium sized (80 room) gem has and does it all. Excellent location near Metro lines, tram line, restaurants, outdoor cafes, bars, music venues and the national museum. Not to mention a superb breakfast included with the room. Soaring ceilings. Free water, coffee and tea during the day. Free Internet access in a business center above the bar. Be sure to get the staff's help with airport transfers and dinner reservations. My wife and I are fortunate to travel the world frequently and we will return to Budapest again just to stay here and enjoy the neighborhood with the staff's expert assistance. "Honest smiles"
There is one thing that I noticed above all in the hotel. The hotel staff dooes not only smile at you in a professional way but in an honest and warm fashion. I've had several nice chats with the reception people. (Aks them who Mr. Zichy was.) Thus, it comes as no surprise they have won several Tripadvisor awards. A very classy, elegant hotel offering superb rooms and facilities at very reasonable prices. For me this is a must stay hotel in Budapest. It is a little walk from the city centre but for those not inclined to walk there is excellent public transport.

A great hotel - wonderful breakfast (included in the price). The only "downside" is it is a little bit ut of the way of the main sites, but still great value for money.

A beautiful place in a great location, room was outstanding, service was amazing - hotel was able to organise anything we wanted and their recommendations for restaurants, spa, tours, anything was based totally on our requirements. 3 days and 4 nights - we felt as relaxed and recharged as if we'd been there a week. What a great hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very modern and clean, the free breakfast buffet was great and the parking was free. One word of caution on the parking; I was driving a small Fiat Sedici 1.6L and had trouble squeezing through the entrance to the parking area. Parking is in a courtyard. If you are driving a bigger […] car than a compact, you may have trouble fitting through the parking entrance. We had a twin bed room with a stocked refrigerator. The prices of the goods were reasonable. The room was not cramped for two adults even though we had large suitcases. The safe in the room was enough to hold two laptops, one a 17” laptop!! Therefore, we didn’t have to worry about losing any valuables. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food: pre-made omelets, eggs sunny-side up, bacon, cheeses, meats, fruit, breads, cereals, yogurt, to name as much as I can remember; and a nice little coffee machine that made just about anything. The location is a little out of the way, though. We had to walk 2 – 4 blocks to find restaurants and pubs, and the subway entrance was about 4 blocks away. However, we didn’t mind the walk for the price and quality of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there the next time I go to Budapest. Lees meer

hotel zichy has a beautiful remodeling of the building's old architecture. their internet was free, fast, and had no connection problems. breakfast was excellent and free. parking was free. the location is in the middle of sidewalk cafes and in walking or biking distance of all of central budapest

I stayed at Hotel Palazzo Zichy for business and overall had a great experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and you can access many popular places (restaurants, touristic attraction etc ...) by foot. The rooms are comfortable and with contemporary furniture. We just stayed in hotel palazzo zichy, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating, and the room was very comfortable. Every morning, the breakfast was delicious: fresh bread right out of the oven, fresh fruits and a wide variety of cold cuts and hot items. The hotel also provides complimentary water, snacks […] and coffee/espresso/tea every day until 5.
