I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly, especially the ones who had worked the overnight shift and were working very early Sunday morning. They were a pleasure to deal with.

Very nice room. Comfortable beds with nice bedding. The breakfast was ok. Coffee was great! I would definitely stay here again.

Hamton in. Gonzales is a great place to stay . Shopping near by, plenty places to eat out , a clean hotel , with very friendly service. The breakfast is quite a spread , too. Much more than I've ever seen at other hotels. Will definitely stay there again. By the way , the staff is so friendly . Thank you Hapton Inn !

Our family stayed one night for an event at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. The location was perfect, the room was clean and nice, and a full breakfast was included!

Every member of the staff was incredible, especially due to the added stress of dealing with a crowded hotel filled with scared evacuating citizens from Hurricane Isaac. My views of every Hampton Inn I have ever stayed at are very positive. The room was clean and pleasent. My only concern is the price of the room. The room was very clean and modern. However, the smoke alarm went off from 2-4 in the morning. And we were told by the night Manager that they could bring by a ladder for us to disconnect the smoke alarm ourselves. We did. The night Manager apologize for the inconvenience and offered a late check-out the next day. Unfortunately, no-one told the morning […] Manager and they harassed and kicked us out at 11:30. The hotel itself was in a Great Location. The problem we encountered was all the children running around the hotel unsupervised. The whole purpose of our stay here was to enjoy the indoor pool. Stay was good, a/c would not cut off or would not respond to thermostat causing room to be extremly cold, other than that everything else was great.

Large spider on wall in room, huge, 2 inches plus. Caught him in ice bucket and called the front desk to come get it, after waking my girlfriend from being scared to death. We were in town for a wedding and just needed a hotel for a quick overnight stay. We had anticipated that we would need two double beds, but plans changed and we only needed one bed. The registration staff made it very easy for us to change our room type and she even notified me that the king rooms only had a shower. Right across the street from the Tanger Outlet Mall. Cabela's is right there also. Plenty of good restaurants very close by. Room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was eggscellent. The indoor pool was a great plus too!!!

The breakfast was the best Ive seen and the staff kept it going very well. My only complaints on this hotel are 1. The room was kind of noisy. We wanted to take a nap after check in before we headed out for a wedding but the walls were so thin it sounded like someone was moving furnitur. 2. I am praying that the young man who booked me did not what he was talking about when he said I only had 24 hours from the time I booked to make changes........Hamilton Inns policy reads that as long as it is 24 hours in advance. My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Gonzales for two nights on the weekend before Mardi Gras. The hotel was clean, not exceptional but well kept. The room was big and comfortable and we didn't hear a peep from the neighboring rooms, which was great. The hot breakfast each morning was very good and we enjoyed the pleasant staff as well. Hotel and room very clean. Rooms very spacious. Huge shower. Stayed with basketball team and staff kept up with breakfast, even after them going back for seconds and thirds! Would definitely stay here again.

A little pricey but very nice and comfy. Would suggest to others that you might want to bring your own toilet tissue. Lol. Theirs is thinner than paper thin!

Stay in hotels frequently but have never bothered with a review before. This was close to the worst night I have ever spent anywhere. Late in the evening, guy next door is yelling obscenities on the phone at least two different times and around midnight decides to have friends over. Refrigerator wakes me up every time compressor kicks on. But the best […] part is I keep hearing a rustling noise every time I doze off. I finally realize something is getting at the bag of M&Ms I left on night stand. Obviously not going to sleep so I waited with my phone's camera on and actually got several pics of the mouse eating my snack. Probably slept an hour all night. Didn't call front desk because I didn't want to have to get dressed and change rooms (where there is one mouse, there are many). Anyway, was telling front desk the next morning but her phone rang so our conversation ended. This was supposed to be best hotel in Gonzales which is why I chose it. We were on the 4th floor and took cold showers. The hot water didn't come for 15 min. to our room 407. That is why I would not go back unless I could get a lower floor. Everything else was good; the people, the breakfast, the clean room and the serfice at the front desk was great.

Hotel room was very nice, comfortable bed but hotel service a bit pushy. I left about 9:00am to run to the store and when I came back the cleaning service was in my room with everyhing torn apart and I had not checked out. I asked them politley to leave and knocked on my door at 10:58 am wanting to come in again..take it easy..I was on my way out!

My wife and I were very pleased with the clean and comfortable room. Wifi seemed a little slow but room was equipped with a nice frig and flat screen TV. Elevators were in good working order and fast. Swimming pool was nice and clean. Complimentary breakfast was good with sausage, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, pastries, bagels, toast and plenty […] of drink choices. Since we were there on the weekend, it would have been nice for the breakfast bar to stay open past 10:00am but that would be our only complaint. Staff were nice, helpful and courteous. Lees meer

This hotel was extremely noisy, The mini refrigerator's compressor kept us awake most of the night. Every time it turned off and on it made a terrible vibrating sound. The rooms were not very well noise insulated. You could hear the television set and shower or toilet flushing from neighboring rooms. The temperature was very difficult to adjust as well […] and the room was either freezing cold or hot and stuffy. Everything was great especially the breakfast. We stayed during the state livestock show and was very well accomadated. There was not much parking and was allowed to park in the grass. Will definately stay again next year.
