I used to live in NYC and came back on a vacation with my friends so I know Manhattan like the back of my hand. The Hilton Garden Inn is in a perfect location, literally walking distance to everything, and it is a very clean hotel! The room was perfect and so was the hotel in general. Definitely stay here and you will not be disappointed!

With great rates, this Hilton Garden Inn is perfectly-located. We had the smallest room on the floor, but it was a very comfortable bed and the staff very helpful.

yea the room is a little small but I still had plenty of space for my huge luggage without feeling like I was trapped. subway station right on the corner of the street. had a great stay

Everything was better than expected and at a wonderful rate. The front desk staff was exceptional! By the way, I am not easily impressed, but I thought the front desk staff was better and friendlier than almost any hotel I have used.

Good points: - The hotel is located in Korean Town/Garment District and adjacent to 34th Street Station, Macy's and Empire State Building. Good walking distance to many attractions. Close to Broadway and Grand Central, Penn Station. - The room was compact and clean. Well maintained. - Good privacy. Conenient room facilities, e.g. microwaves, refrigerator) […] and good hotel facilities, e.g. business center, 24h gym. Negative points: - Small room. Did not have enough space to open two suitcases. - Too close to busy areas and too much noise on the street at night (Police, firefighter, taxi, youngsters, etc). Construction site was very close to the hotel and causing traffic jam on the street. - Long waiting lines at front desk. - Old and slow elevators. There were three spacious elevators but one of them went out of order while I was staying. Probably not enough capacity to serve a big hotel of the 33 stories. Corridors are narrow and simple. (I suspect the hotel building used to be an office building in the past.) - Probably not very good security. One time I saw three youngsters (probably not everyone was the hotel guest) rushing to a room next to my room. The other time I heard a dog barking in the room. - The people staying close to my room was making some noise (like cell phone) very frequently all day and it was annoying sometimes. I suspect that hotel employees were staying in the rooms around my room. - Convenient location but not very nice/clean area. Always crowded with vendors and tourists. This area is not like Murray Hill. Very different from the other side of Midtown. Lees meer

Great location. Excellent service. Had a nice visit and help with directions and recommendations for food and shows.

I am so happy with my stayed on that hotel...very closed to all attractions ...just steps to importants places in NY like TIMES SQUARE...EMPIRE STATE BUILDING ..ROCKEFELLER CENTER...ETC....the employees are very kind and polite ..the beds and pillows so confortable and the bathroom very clean....one of my best staying in NY...I recommend to everyone […] planning go to NY... Great location - great deal on a fabulous room with city view-overlooking the Empire State Building. Staff attentive , friendly and gracious.

Great location, far enough from the crowds of Times square but close enough to still feel part of the action. I stayed in a king room with a friend and although the room was small, as most are in NY, we managed well. Our flight arrived very early and the staff was able to get us to our room a bit earlier than check-in which was really nice. Plus they […] kept our bags for us while we waited, also a plus. They offer tea and coffee in the morning but wished they would keep it out all day, especially in the winter. I tried to get tea once but there was no hot water. My only annoyance were the elevators, they are incredibly slow in the mornings (8-10pm) when everyone seems to be rushing about, but they are slow in general. There are 3 but I think they are not coordinated well with the floors, may they should only assign 10 floors to each. The room was very clean, fresh towels were always available and NO BEDBUGS (we made sure to thoroughly check). Furniture was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Thomas, the concierge , was also very helpful and nice! This hotel is a little gem in the midtown west area and the pricing was just right! I would stay again in a heartbeat. Great job Hilton! Great choice for our first visit to New York. The hotel is ideally placed for you to access the sights of the City. Our room on the 27th floor was extremely clean and comfortable. Wonderful location especially if you take the train to NYC- easy walk to and from. Very easy to walk up to Broadway and see the shows and the subway system. Rather a noise hotel- not by people, but just the sounds the hotel make- ie pipes that sound like a chair being drug across the floor above you- rather annoying throughout the night.

Very close to subway. Friendly and great room.

This hotel was close enough to time square to be able to walk to, but far enough away that the lights and noise did not keep you awake at night. We were right by the subway and the world's largest Macy's. The room was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful and polite. Obviously we could have been closer to time square, but that would come with […] noise and lights all night. Madison Square Garden was only 3 blocks away. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows could have been better. That is really the only thing I can say that is not positive about this place. I would recommend this place to everyone, and plan on staying here the next time I go back to the big apple. Lees meer

Our stay here at this hotel was very good. The room was a good size, with a clean standing glass shower only, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and everything was in good repair. It was in the middle of pretty much everything by subway and Penn Station was within walking distance. They provide you with Neutrogena brand bath products - shampoo, […] conditioner, bath soap, mouthwash, vanity kit that includes qtips, and shower cap. The towels were good. Towards the end of the trip our electronic door lock battery died and we were locked out until the "engineer" could unlock and replace the battery. They sent us to the hotel bar for a free drink which was nice. The front desk was helpful and polite. The only downside is that the elevators are slow and lots of people. When we were checking out we waited and had to pass up 3 elevators because there was no room. Lucky we were on the 4th floor and could easily take the stairs. Good hotel, would recommend. Lees meer

Hotel rooms very small, the sheets on the bed had to be 50 thread. The sheets would not stay on the bed. With that being said, modern hotel and decor is excellent . Staff was great and accommodating. The breakfast was far above any free breakfast, so many things to choose from. Several Cooks waiting too cook to order. Some foods of course buffet style. […] Wait staff atenitive to all. Make your own waffles. Plenty of fruit and large selection of fruit juices, whole grains,egg whites, turkey sausage, something for every diet.Over all wonderful place to stay, and yes I'll stay again. The Hilton Hotel was great. It was in a convenient place to get to everything that I wanted to see and do. The food was good in the dinning area. The employees were pleasant and the stay was affordable.

Ill stay here again next time. Right next to a subway stop, Starbucks and just about anything you need. My wife and I both thought it was way more than we expected.

I stayed at this hotel for a week on business. They have a great gym, convenient breakfast and the rooms were nice also. Very clean and updated. The location could not have been better and the staff went above and beyond! I'll definetly go back.

i was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The accommodations were excellent and the price ws very reasonable.Definitely consider this hotel,if it available for your trip!

Great Location.. right at Herald Square! just 10 blocks from Times square!! Subway is right under the hotel making commute within the city very easy! Downside is the size of the regular room - too cramped! But the clean rooms and toilets make up for the loss of space. Plus got a good deal from Hotels.com!! Two good deli's serving breakfast right around […] the corner and a couple of restaurants and bars on the same street. Wifi included in the room rate!! Stayed at Hilton Garden Inn to be close to McGraw-Hill, at 2 Penn Plaza. Very pleased with the room!

Though I only stayed one night I found the service and accommadations to be excellent. The room size was good and the shower was terrific. The bed was very comfortable. It had a sleep number adjustment on it!! I hope my company picks this Inn for me again in the near future. Oh and the surrounding area was great!

This hotel was so great! I was incredibly pleased with the cleanliness of the room, which was quite spacious. Also, Tammy at the front desk was great, gave us a good restaurant recommendation, and thoughtfully asked us how we were each time we saw her. From the free cookies at check-in to the free coffee on the bar in the morning, this hotel has warm, friendly touches. Midtown isn't my favorite part of the city, but it certainly is convenient. Our room was small, there is really only space to lay open one suitcase if you are using both beds and if you don't want to use the desktop as a luggage rack. […] But it wasn't the smallest big city, downtown hotel room I've stayed in. Great service as well. I usually stay at 4star hotels, but this was great!

The Hotel is vert well situated close to all major attractions. The room was quite small; otherwise, everything was good. Wi-Fi works perfectly and is free. Would recommend this hotel ; especially, if you stay for a short time and do not spend too much in the room.

Super great location in the heart of everything. My only complaint was the room received was just across from the elevator even though I arrived at the hotel first thing in the morning. However, they were very nice enough to relocate me to a quieter room which was much better. The Hilton Staff were very friendly and no complaints. Check in was fast and friendly and our room on the 16th floor was clean, comfortable, and not as small as we had expected (considering the great rate and all the reviews noting that the rooms were very small!). Flat screen TV, cushiony beds: good good. The convenient location of this hotel was awesome! It is right by the subway station, close to Macy's in Herald Square, close to the Empire State Building, and steps away from yummy Koreatown. I picked this hotel based on reviews and was not a bit disappointed. It couldn't have been a better location. Herald Square station is mere feet away from the door, and you can catch a train to anywhere in Manhattan. Felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. If we ever get back to NYC we will definitely stay here again.

Our room smelled like bathroom deodorant, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Although the hotel's on a quiet little block, if we looked left (and up) out our window, we saw the Empire State Bldg one block away, and if we looked right, Macy's on Herald Square. The rooms are small but very clean and attractive; obviously recently updated and redecorated. It got pretty crowded in the equally small lobby those days after Christmas, […] but the staff handled it very graciously and were all very helpful. Our only complaint; the elevators were S-L-O-W. Some folks we were crammed in with said they'd waited 30 minutes and finally walked down 8 flights of stairs. Perhaps it was just the holiday crush, but still .... Lees meer
