Je stapt je vleigtuig uit en het eerste wat je ziet als je naar buiten kijkt is het hotel. Binnen vijf minuten loop je overdekt naar binnen. Prachtige luxe ambiance in de hal, het zwembad daar in tegen was een beetje vergane glorie maar gelukkig langer open ipv eerder gelezen berichten op internet. Familiekamer was perefect, je zou kunnen vallen over de kwaliteit van het tweede bed in de familiekamer maar de ruimte maakt dat zeker goed. Nog nooit eerder zo'n fantastisch ontbijt genoten maar daar was de prijs ook naar. De tweede dag brak de anderhalf uur reistijd naar het centrum van Londen ons wel op. Er wordt gesproken van 75 minuten maar die zijn in het drukke stadsverkeer niet haalbaar. Toch bleek Easybus de snelste en het klantvriendelijkst!

Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Excellent stay in Cambridge"
Excellent in comfort and location. I spent two nights in Cambridge in April 2012 and took a taxi to the centre. Note that there are certain times that taxies are able to access the heart of the town. After a long day it was really nice to be able to enjoy their fabulous restaurant where they can really cook!! Would stay there again!

"Felix Hotel - good base to see Cambridge"
This is a relatively new hotel and has new extensions to an existing building. It has been done well, apart from being a bit drawn out layout-wise. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms again were spacious and modern looking, but one complaint was that the toilet didn't flush properly and took ages to refill. […] We didn't eat there, but had a drink in the bar, which was very pleasant. Our room rate included continental breakfast, which included juices, tea/coffee pastries, toast and a good variety of cereals, muesli etc. Service was friendly and efficient. The hotel is a 5-10 minute (about £8) taxi ride out of Cambridge, which was a bit further than we thought. There are new houses and flats being built net to the hotel, but this looks nearly completed and we didn't hear any construction noise. Lees meer
The hotel was excellent, lovely big light and airy room with a really big comfy bed. bathroom was nice withgood sized bath and brilliant shower. Breakfast was tasty, good chocie on continental buffet and full english was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect, quiet area. Could walk into city centre but is a fair walk, about […] 25 -30 mins at a reasonable pace Only slight grumble was with room service, ordered a cheese plate which took ages to come and was expensive (even by room service standard) for thd quantity of cheese we got. Great medium sized hotel with friendly, efficient staff. Dinner in the Graffiti restaurant was excellent & the staff highly attentive; although service at breakfast was not up to the high standard at dinner. Bar staff were excellent, especially when one guest spilled her drink. They cleaned up & refreshed the drink while making the guest feel very comfortable. Good […] location for getting to Cambridge. "Great hotel"
We stayed at the Hotel Felix for our anniversary, and it was everything it promised to be. The standard rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend eating at the restaurant too. The Hotel is a little way out of the centre of Cambridge, but it is either […] an easy 20/25 minute walk, or a couple of minutes walk from the Hotel is a bus stop where the buses come every 10 minutes in the day time to take you right into the city centre. Taxi's are reasonable and are your other option when the bus stops running. I would not recommend trying to drive into and park in Cambridge city centre, it is not easy or cheap! A fabulous trip away and I would definitely stay at The Hotel Felix again. Lees meer

Great restaurant including breakfast. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds with easy parking. Staff is gracious and anxious to help. I just with it was a little closer in to Cambridge.

Very comfortable hotel with good service. Basic breakfast was included. The hotel room had a good double bed, bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. The was even a small sofa between the bed and the flatscreen tv. However the hotel is situated in the outskirts of Cambridge and you need to take the bus or taxi to get downtown.

The combination of Victorian and modern architecture works very well, and with an inventive chef in the kitchen. This is a place to remember and come back to! Spring time on the terraces must be worth a few extra miles on the road.
Rooms were nice with modern, up to date fixtures. Even though hotel is 1.5 miles from city center there are multiple bus lines that you can catch every 10 minutes during the day to go into town. Less frequent at night, about every 45 minutes. Easy commute. Didn't like how you had to pay hourly rate if you wanted to use their wifi. Continental Breakfast […] was very nice. Lees meer
