Idee van studentencampus Lekker goedkoop Gedeelde badkamer, maar wij hadden geen buren. Beetje gehorig, snachts kan het wat druk zijn.

"One Day in Galway"
We only had one night in Galway and chose this B&B based on price. It was very clean, easy to find, close to all the sites, and the beds and bathroom were comfortable. I would definitely stay here if I return to Galway again.

The location is great. However we had a small room without a slanted ceiling and no view. Breakfast was great though.

Very clean and cosy B&B. Very convienient to Galway city centre. Good choice at breakfast of traditional fry up or a healther option.

From arrival to departure of a 6 evening visit, the staff, room, location overlooking the ocean bay with no interferences was beautiful. Good job to 2 fellows and a young lady.

"Very comfortable...for a B&B"
We had a room with a beautiful view overlooking the water. The bathrooms were not in the best of shape but the room itself was comfortable enough. Breakfast was great in the morning though the room was crowded (tables too close together). The gentlemen running the place were more than accomodating. Only minus was the bathroom.

Where to start with the review on this Guest House 1, It was clean 2, Our bedroom was only suitable for a single bed, not a double. 3, Bathroom extremely narrow,and we had to open door into bedroom to be able to wash our face. 4, Kettle supplied was a travel one only suitable for one mug at a time, requested a larger one but it never arrived. 5, Milk […] jiggers out of date by at least a week. 6, Un-ironed sheets on arrival. 7, On return from day out we found spare keys left in the lock, clean towels placed in room but bed left un-made. 8, On the small balcony there was an ashtray full of old cigarette ends and inhabited by snail. 9, The reviews on breakfast said it was good,wrong, it was poor,no choice only a full Irish, over cooked bacon,over cooked sausage, asked for scrambled egg one day still only got fried egg, no baked beans next day, asked for some, they never arrived. Yogurts were out of date by a week and the breakfast was not enhanced by a young man wearing not to smarter t-shirt and shorts 10, We were compensated with a reduction on our bill but it doesn't change our opinion. Great place to stay in Galway. Right on the bay, and room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very nice.

The location of this guest house was very good. Overlooking the sea and surrounded by other guesthouses, on a reasonably quiet road just 4-5 minutes away from Galway city centre. The guest house was nice but the gentlemen that showed us around when we got there, was still there in the morning and he served us breakfast. My partner pointed out that he […] was still wearing the same clothes as the day before and she wasnt very impressed and thought it was unprofessional and unhygienic. He also, never asked whether we would like any drinks or toast or how we would like our breakfast. But he did with other people. The rooms were a little bit on the small side but we had a lovely nights sleep. The bed was comfy and clean. Overall, in our opinion, the guesthouse was overpriced compared to other guesthouses we have stayed in which were a lot nicer and cheaper. Lees meer

Amber Bay was nice, very friendly. Pretty convenient in Salt Hill, which is a really nice place. Very quaint. If you have an older person with you (like I did), request a 1st floor room.
