Very cosy and clean, increadibly helpful staff, no problems at all. Very nice walk to the beach that takes about 20 minutes. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone

Amber Hill Guest House is a gem for travelers - convenient, clean, and friendly. Breakfast nest door at the Amber Heights was was great. The staff was always ready to be helpful - especially Patrick, one of the owners who answered questions, gave directions and helped us when we were having trouble with a mobile phone we had just purchased in Ireland. […] We will definitely return on our new trip. I stayed at Amber Hill with friends on their first visit to Ireland. We were all very impressed by the standard of accommodation , the service was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recomending it as an overnight stay or a base for a longer stay in the city.

My sister and I booked a last minute stay in the chalet the morning of our arrival, and then spent the day out of contact on the road. When we arrived, it turned out that the chalet had been double booked and we were given two rooms in the main guesthouse instead. The rooms were lovely, the beds were comfortable, and our two hosts were kind, welcoming, […] professional, and apologetic. They had done their best to contact us ahead of time to let us know. They even quickly washed some of our laundry and had it back to us after dinner! Overall, it was unbelievably nice at any price, but especially for the extremely low price of the rooms. There is a very cozy shared area for watching tv, surfing the internet, and drinking free coffee. Breakfast was stunningly good - the selection of toasts, cereals, juices, and espresso was topped by the hot irish breakfast we ordered - for me they had a special vegetarian breakfast. we were stuffed for just six units of european currency. there was plenty of free parking in the small lot and the drive into town was less than 5 minutes. parking in town was free after our hosts gave us some helpful tips for where to park to avoid the roadworks. overall, i would recommend this guesthouse 100% - it deserves its high ratings and praise on this site...i just wanted to give it more! well done, Amber hill! x Lees meer

Really liked this Guest House. Normally stay in Hotels but this was lovely. Hotel room standard but much better value for money.

Stayed here to attend a work night out. Was very suprised at how modern and well run the place appeared. And all the little extras really do make a difference like a coffee machine, wifi, use of computers, ironing board and even a little mini fridge in the room. I tried to book another night in 3 days time but they were fully booked out. After staying […] there I understand why. And, great value for money. Lees meer

We were very satisified with our stay at Amber Hill. The decor was tasteful without being boring,and very clean. When we found the room a little cold the matter was dealt with efficiently within 5 or so minutes.

the shampoo here is terrible and will make your hair feel like greasey grass. it's a combo soap/shampoo, so make sure you bring your own. other than that, a very nice b&b

What a find! Helpful staff- and very welcoming. Friendly feel to the communal areas and the family room we had booked was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great value. Easy walk into Galway - 2 routes and close to buses. We were so impressed we stayed an addiitonal night.

One of the best places my wife & I have stayed at on our trip. This guest house was in immaculate condition, extremely comfortable with a room to match. The additional breakfast we opted for was superb & great value for the price. The staff were friendly & helpful. TRES BONNE ADRESSE PROPRE - ACCEUILLANT - BREAKFAST PARFAIT - CHAMBRES POUR 3 TRES BIEN - TRES BONNE ADRESSE.

Nära till Salt Hill, men lite långt ifrån centrum. Rent, fräscht och trevlig personal. Gratis internet i sällskapsrummet och gott kaffe i maskinen. Inte billigaste stället, men helt ok pris.

This hotel was very comfortable and recently renovated. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were really nice and helpful.

Nettes B&B (etwas ungewohnt, aber typisch britisch die eine große Decke für zwei ;-), saubere Zimmer, großer, gemütlicher Aufenthaltsraum mit freiem Internetzugang und Kaffeemaschine (auch große Auswahl an Tees...) Nettes Personal. Toast und Cornflakes im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, großes Frühstück gibt's gegen geringen Aufpreis im Haus nebenan. Zwei […] große Supermärkte / Einkaufszentren in der Nähe (ca. 15 min zu Fuß). Zum Meer sind's auch etwa 15 min zu Fuß (bergab); ins Stadtzentrum am Meer entlang dauert es dann aber schon eine Stunde - allerdings ein sehr schöner Spaziergang... Ein echtes gemütliches Pub in Fußreichweite haben wir zwar nicht gefunden, aber es gibt einen 'Taxideal' vom Haus und Bushaltestellen gibt es auch quasi gleich vor der Haustür. Very nice and friendly staff. Small breakfast was included in the price - positive surprice. The rooms looked better on internet than in reality!

Accueil très chaleureux, chambre impeccable et confortable, rien à redire sur ce B&B, de plus le breakfast était bon et copieux. le seul point noir est qu'il est assez éloigné du centre de Galway, mais si vous aimez le calme alors cette adresse est faite pour vous !
