This hotel was very clean and nicely kept. Flat screen televisions were nice. Water pressure on showers could have been better. Overall very nice for the price.

i have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 6 months. It is always very clean. The location is right at Loop 323 and Frankston Road so is very convenient o all parts of town. The rooms are surprisingly large and while not overly furnished they do have a desk, desk chair, and a fairly comfortable side chair. Hotel lobby was clean and looked fairly new. The room was clean and looked comparable to higher priced hotels. The television has close to 100 channels and you are able to plug in a HDMI device. The staff I interacted with were nice and helpful in answering my questions. Found a couple spots of mildew in the tub. Other than that the room was spotless. […] The workout equipment was cheap but functioned well enough. The complementary breakfast was a little lacking, with the only hot items being oatmeal and waffles. The rest was pretty standard. Cramped room, appeared to be cheaply built - no counter in bath, only a sink - tile in bath not grouted around floor drain - chair in room crammed into a small space - overall, not the quality you would expect for the price

Baymont Inn and Suites is an unassuming hotel, not much to look at from the outside and not located in an upscale neighborhood (yet not a bad one, either), but if you are looking for quality and price, you should stay here. The rooms are clean and modern, the beds are very high quality, and the hotel is run with friendliness and efficiency. Spent one night there for a tour of local college with my son. We were greeted with friendliness upon our arrival. The room was clean and very comfortable. If you are going to Tyler, choose this hotel.

Hotel is about a year old and is being maintained very well. We were in Tyler to watch our son play baseball for TJC and the location was convenient.

this hotel was very clean and comfortable. Easy access to attractions, food and shopping. Would stay here again.

upon arrival we were told the room booked was not available. since the motel was completely booked there was nothing to do that night. the next morning we were promised the correct room as soon as housekeeping could clean a room. we were going to be out all day and could not hang around until 12:30 pm for the room change, at that time we were told that […] the management would have housekeeping make the switch for us,(moving all our clothes). when we arrived back at the hotel, at 7:00 pm, we were told that the room had not been switched because housekeeping could not move our belongings. the "only manager " was very rude to all of us(the manager continually told us we were wrong.) she told us we could have another room at an additional charge, at which she was told we would not pay any additional charges for another room. at 10:00 pm after we were all in bed Amy calls the room and said that we could change rooms. I told her we were in bed and would not get up and change rooms. this is the worst customer service i have ever been a witness to. we will not recommend this motel to anyone EVER! and if this is the type of service that the other locations provide i will recommend not to stay at their locations no matter the price. My friends & I booked 5 rooms for a tennis tournament and we all were very happy with this choice. Hotel was clean and new, and everything basically worked. Bathrooms and bed were nice. Hotel staff bent over backwards to be friendly and helpful. The free breakfast wasn't fancy but was quite satisfactory, and it opened at 6:00 am allowing us time to […] eat before our early 8:00 am tennis match. Lees meer

The Hotel was nice. The only thing that I could not figure out is that the room door was not easy to close. It had a hard time latching right. The Staff was friendly, and the room was clean.

The breakfast needed a little tune up.

Overall a great experience. Quiet and very clean. Up to date furnishings and decor. The bed wasn't as comfortable as expected, though we slept fine. Breakfast included juice/coffee/milk, yogurt, toast/bagels, oatmeal, and cereal. Wish more fruit and less processed food would've been offered - but this is to be expected in most hotels. Great Value - Newer Hotel that is clean and comfortable. Mattress and bedding were comfortable! LCD TV an added plus. Great Mexican Restaurant nearby. Convenient to downtown and SW Tyler Area. Friendly Staff and Owner on premises.

clean room, nice tv, great reception, free cookies!!! breakfast was plentiful with large assortment. Very close to mall and plenty of surrounding restaurants. I would stay there every time. Reasonably priced.

This was a really great hotel to stay at. The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. We walked into the room and was very suprised to see how big they were. Plenty of room to walk around in. We will defentley be staying here again when we come back to Tyler. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My daughter was having her wedding so I checked all the hotel close to this one. This was the cleanest hotel. The front desk was very nice at all the request to animals, decorating the bride suite. Will be coming back to this one.

This was my first stay in any Baymont. For some reason, I had the impression this was a low-end chain. Not so. Great value aside, this was one of the nicer hotels I've been at for a while. The public areas are decorated very elegantly, and the rooms are very nicely appointed. The bathroom was particularly attractive, with nice tile and accoutrements […] in the shower. Large, flat panel LCD TV in the room with a superb picture. Excellent climate controls. Very comfortable bed. Soothing and attractive colors and decor in the room. Nice, courteous, efficient service. This appears to be quite a new property. Location is good, too, with numerous restaurants nearby (I recommend Mercado's) and close to downtown without being in it. I'll be returning to Tyler periodically for business - and perhaps separate leisure trips - and will absolutely stay here without even looking elsewhere. The property is also close to the Tyler Regional Airport, which itself has a good reputation. I was simply blown away by how very nice this property is. (I stayed at another Baymont in another town the next night with a much less pleasant experience. OK, but nothing like this.) Loved everything about the weekend stay here! Enjoyed having the two very comfortable queen size beds in the room! Loved the amenities and proximity to everything we needed! Exceptional rates! And REALLY appreciated the facility is totally non-smoking!

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend, '09. Wonderful that the entire facility is Smoke-Free! Everything was very fresh and clean. The free continental breakfast had a great assortment of morning foods, fresh coffee and juices. Location was perfect for our needs, and close to Wal-Mart for groceries. Having a small coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave […] in the room, was a great way to save on food expenses, but we were still close to a variety of very good restaurants too. REALLY liked the fact they had two (2) comfortable Qeen Size Beds in the room! Overall, we were very satisfied with everything about the facility and we would definitely go back there again!
