We really loved the hotel. The location was great, the food in the restaurant was great, and the free wine tasting was a nice touch. Great fire pits.....We will go there again.

Very close to everything, beaches, restaurants and shops. Everyone that worked there was extremely nice and helpful. Upscale modern hotel with a very laid back feel

This hotel is in the best location in Huntington Beach. Best St. Patricks day ever all thanks to this hotel. Everyone should stay here and have the same wonderful experience I had. Thanks a lot hotels.com for always hooking up the best places to stay.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Two small complaints. For this price internet access should be free and parking is $20.00 per CALENDAR DAY. If you park on Thursday at 3:00 pm and leave Friday morning, that counts as two days and costs you $40. If your car is in the structure one minute past midnight, add another $20 to your bill. Pretty poor way […] to nail somebody for some extra money. Probably a city owned structure but it is the structure under the hotel and unless you want to put quarters in a meter for you entire stay, this is where you park. - Great service. - Perfect room. (the walls are a little thin but plan ahead, arrive early and kindly ask for a room with more privacy so as not to get stuck near the noisey street). - The room was clean but it should have been vaccumed which it wasn't. - Simple gestures like a glass of wine could be spared if the attention to other more important details […] could be attended to like a vaccummed room. Truly amazing hotel. Great view, good food. BUT, as for parking, felt I was taken for a ride. The parking garage (which is FOR the hotel) is "not affiliated" with the hotel. Only stayed one night, was charged for 2 days. Well, $36 later, was told valet would have been cheaper.....

Very friendly and engaging staff. Loved the dog friendly policy even though we didn't bring a dog. It was nice to have them around. Great restaurant. Better food than the surrounding area.

It seemed like everywhere I looked there were beach-ish shots of girls in bikinis, etc. A surf movie playing on a wall down in the lobby, and a piece of artwork on the wall in the room. Not my style.

We always stay at this hotel any time we are in Southern California. The hotel, the staff & accomodations can not be beat! Excellent location & ocean views !!! It is just a beatiful hotel & MY FAVORITE !

We used to stay at the Hyatt in Long Beach but after the extra friendly staff treated us and our two small dogs I will not be returning to the stuffy Hyatt - the staff went above and beyond from giving directions to making sure we were happy - they always had a smile on their faces and for a pet friendly the hotel rooms exceptiionally clean. Stayed three days with my greyhound and cat while some repairs were being done on my house. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was a dog-friendly hotel but it was VERY clean. The dogs we saw were adorable and were very well-behaved. I wanted to be right on the beach and was not familiar with Huntington Beach so I didn't realize that an oceanfront room meant that you had Pacific Coast Highway between you and the beach, so that was somewhat […] of a disappointment. The hotel itself, however including the room, the hotel, and the staff were outstanding. That alone would earn it 5 stars, but there were a couple of drawbacks - I already mentioned the location. In addition, I would have liked to have free Internet when you are paying that much for a room. Lees meer

Hotel had a great decor vibe, bartender wasn't very fun? (maybe because it was New Years Day and he was hung over!!!), we were celebrating a friends birthday, he could have been a little more enthusiastic! The food there is great, walking distance to everything (other bars with bartenders more friendly). Selection of beers very limited. The rooms are […] pleasant although there was some banging of pipes that started at 5am and went on all morning. A very nice hotel with attentive staff and a great onsite bar. The only downside for us was some dog biscuits left on the carpet in the room, presumably from a previous guest. Other than that the hotel was first rate and I would definitely stay again. Great location in the centre of Huntingdon.

Huntington Beach location is in the heart of the Beach scene. Rooms were amazing. one thing...after working out and showering, not enough towels for next morning. Need a min. of 6 large towels for a couple. Other than that, simply the BEST !l

The hotel is excellent. Great service, great location, love just about everything there. I HATE THE PARKING DEAL! If you get there mid-day you can find street parking nearby. If you have to park your choices are valet at $20 or self park for $36 a day - both a absurd rip-off! This recently renovated hotel is at a great location - across the street from the beach - downtown HB so close to all the stores, restaurants and clubs. Excellent location, unique Surfer type experience - fun bar with happy hour. Excellent stay.

I love everything about the hotel but word to the wise, PARKING!!!! There is plenty of street parking around the hotel. I made the mistake of checking in early evening when all the street parking was full - so I go the pleasure of getting robbed in the hotel parking garage. Not physically robbed, but having the option of paying either $35 for self-park […] or $26 for valet should be considered straigh-up highway robbery! We stayed at the Shorebreak over Thanksgiving. The hotel was beautiful, decorated in a surfing theme, and in a perfect location near the HB pier. The staff were efficient, friendly and motivated. The hotel was also pet friendly, and we really enjoyed having our dog along with us. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is right where you want to be in Huntington Beach. So close to the pier and Main Street. The rooms are large, clean and modern. I wanted to stay in the shower all day! I will only be staying at the Shorebreaker when I am in Huntington.

I recently stayed here for the first time and I was so pleased. The hotel was very nice and the hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is close to everything. With shops, restaurants and the beach just steps away.

I have never written a review before - but this hotel deserves it. I have stayed at the hotel twice. The rooms, the tub, the view of the ocean, and the friendliest staff make it worth while for a constant visit.

We had a great stay at the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach. The hotel is located on Hwy 1 directly across the street from the Huntington Beach Pier and right in the heart of the tourist area. The hotel staff was great. They were able to set up a private surf lesson for me with less than a days notice. Very chill vibe but at the same time professional. […] Beach accessories including chairs, towels, volleyballs, blankets etc. can all be signed out from the front desk free of charge. The entire hotel has a modern surfing theme and is only 2 years old, everything seemed brand new, we thought it had opened this summer. Awesome place! Lees meer

The hotel is in a great location on a nice beach! The only thing - The parking fee is a little much . I would stay here again

If you have dogs this is a must travel to hotel! So relaxing and great staff! Also try 24 degrees down the street for some food and great cocktails! We will be back!

Just amazing!!

This is a good hotel, but definatly doesnt live up to the 4.7 star rating. The fridge is inside a cabinet that prevents the fridge from getting cold due to the lack of air flow, there were no drinks stocked in the room that you would expect from a upper class hotel, and there was no DVD or blue ray player in the room. There was no coffe maker either […] and even cheap hotels have that. The rooms were clean and very attractive. The bedding was very comfortable and the air conditioning in the room worked great. The view was excellent overlooking the Huntington Pier. The price for the room however was not worth the almost 5 star rating this hotel is rated as. It is definatly a great hotel for romance. The view will make any woman melt and your guarenteed to score points with your woman if you stay here. Overall this hotel is only really worth a 3.5 or 4 star rating until they get coffee makers, DVD players, and/or reduce thier pricing accordingly. Lees meer

The staff was great! They allow dog with no charge and the location is perfect. They also have a great Happpy Hour

First time staying here, read tons of reviews before booking. This hotel is in the BEST location if you want to visit Huntington Beach. It has a very cool vibe, great happy hour in the hotel bar and amazing food in the restaurant. There is an outdoor patio with heaters and the hotel is dog friendly. Only negative I can come up with is there is no pool. […] But with the beach right across the street a pool is not needed. Had a wonderful time!! Lees meer

Nice hotel with a great location! Positiv and service minded staff!

The rooms were not ready until 7 pm. The check in time is 3 pm. We were very dissappointed because we were paying full price for less than the time we paid for.

This place is awesome. Beautiful, modern, great location, flawless. I'd move in if I could.

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for memorial day weekend and the service was outstanding. When I decided to take a trip for the 4th of July, coming here was a no-brainer. This time I was with a girlfriend of mine, so the experience was totally different but still wonderful. The staff was so accommodating and was able to upgrade my friend and […] myself to a huge room so that we would not have to share a bed. Shorebreak Hotel was my second choice of hotels in the area. After spending three beautiful days on the beach Shorebreak Hotel will always be my first choice. It is very close to anything and everything you want to do from riding bikes to walking back to the hotel when you are no condition to drive, shopping, beach activity, people watching all made […] for an excellent weekend.
