Good value, everything you might expect. Stay marred by attack of biting insects - still scratching

We had a triple room at the Albion Hotel on 21 Jan 2012. We got a really warm welcome at reception and were delighted with our room. Really clean and plenty of room for the three of us. Beds were really comfy. The location is great both for the city centre and the West End. Would definitely recommend staying here,

Comfortable small hotel close to university. Also easy access to the subway.

no heater, single bed but what i ordered is a double bed room.

Since my wife and I use the subway extensively in all cities we visit, having the Albion Hotel in Glasgow very near the Kelvinbridge station was convenient. The staff at the Albion were most helpful and hospitable. They helped direct us to restaurants, museums and other tourist attractions. Free access to a computer and email was most appreciated. Charming place...very comfortable. We were happy to have free internet. Had the most delicious scrambled eggs...freshly cooked to order. Donald, the manager was just great...very friendly and helpful.

For a night out in Glasgow I booked the Albion Hotel for me and three friends. When we checked in we were taken to one of the 'City Apartments', in a building joined onto the main hotel, a large apartment complete with kitchen facilities. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious, just what we needed. We spent 3 nights at Albion in Glasgow and were very satisfied, the beds were especially comfortable with lots of pillows which I appreciate. The location was good too, just a short taxi or bus ride to downtown or central stations. TAM, N.C.,USA

Although our stay in Glasgow was short, the Albion was just what we were looking for. It was clean, bright, comfortable, and quiet. Being located right across from the subway made it a breeze to get around Glasgow. It's near good restaurants and shops, and within walking distance from many popular sites.We highly recommend it.

Only spent one night here bur really enjoyed it. Great location with a pub just on the corner. Clean and comfortable. Good food for breakfast.

We stayed here after a night Out on the tOwn, it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Great quiet place.

This charming place was spotless and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was very good and overall this was our favorite hotel of all the places we stayed in 2 weeks in the UK.

Because we had a family of four (my wife and I with two children aged 5 and 7) we were looking for options that were both affordable and accommodating for four persons. Stayed at the Albion for three nights. The location in Glasgow was nice, a very short walk to Great Western Rd. which had plenty of eating and drinking places along with shops. A metro […] station was 2 minutes away. We stayed over a weekend and there was plenty of free parking directly in front of the hotel at no charge because the meters do not charge after 6 p.m. on Friday. The river was across the street so there was a small greenbelt instead of more buildings so this added to the calm and quiet. The hotel is on a street that dead ends where it would connect with Great Western, so there was little to no traffic. The Botanic Gardens, with a nice playground, were a 10 minute walk and Kelvingrove Museuem, which was really a nice place to take the kids, was a 15 minute walk (or $8 cab ride). We were driving, so the fact that it was an easy location to find and was not directly on a busy road was convenient. The on ramp to the highway was 5 minutes away by car. The people at the hotel were very polite and professional, and the breakfast was good. We had a family room with four beds and it was decent in size, especially by European city standards. The building is obviously older and there is no lift/elevator (we were on the third floor) but the rooms were nice and tidy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. Lees meer

A nice hotel with very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. I will use it again

Our hotel concierge was very nice, good location near the metro, on-street parking avaialble. Great for travelers looking to get to Glasgow city without paying too much for a room.

We were actually given a room in the Albion apartments right next door which was great. There were 4! single beds in the room and a full kitchen with anything cooking utensil you could ever need or want. That staff here is probably the kindest and I have incountered in my travels. Very close to subway and bus lines. Check out Buchannan shopping center […] great shopping any store you could need. Lees meer

The hotel was clean and very convenient for local shops, eating and drinking places. It is very close to the subway for a quick tripto the city centre. We were lucky in being able to park on the street nearby the hotel.

Hôtel d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour une ville comme Glasgow. La chambre familiale était très spacieuse, joliment décorée (comme tout le reste de l'hôtel d'ailleurs. La personne de l'accueil était d'une gentillesse extrême. Seul point un peu négatif : la rue n'est pas facile à trouver (avec les sens interdits) et située un peu loin du centre […] ville, rien autour sauf la station de métro (ou train urbain). Si l'hotel a quelques défauts, ils sont largement compensés par l'accueil si généreux et si attentif du personnel, la propreté des lieux et l'environnement du quartier.

Sehr nettes Personal, sauberes, hübsches Zimmer, gute ÖPNV Anbindung, ruhige Lage.

Excelente ubicación, a dos minutos del metro. Fueron muy amables en todo tipo de información. Las habitaciones y las camas confortables.

Hatte Glück und ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf den See. Habe freundlich danach gefragt und der Mann an der Reception kam meinem Wunsch entgegen. Deswegen war es auch nicht laut. Et godt hotel. Værelset ikke særliig stort, men absolut rimeligt til prisen. Flinke og hjælpsomt personale. Man føler sig kræset om.

Hotellet hadde en bra beliggenhet med subway-stopp 2min unna som var veldig greit naar en skulle inn til sentrum. Rommet var rent og pent og hoerte ikke noe braak fra gaten utenfor eller andre gjester paa hotellet. Anbefales!
