It's not like the pictures, it's not clean, lights don't work, internet does not work, bad airco, very noisy building, very small. It is fun to be so close to the beach (read: not at the beach) ,because you don't really want to be in this room. You'd rather spend a little more money for more comfortable place to stay. Ook de lokatie is uitstekend, een paar passen van het strand vandaan en ook de leukste barren liggen op loopafstand. De hotel staf is erg vriendelijk. Ook hadden we constant een gebrek aan schone handdoeken, shampoo/zeep etc. en moest ik dus ook 2 tot 3 keer toe om schone handdoeken vragen. Voor de rest was alles perfect en ik zou zo weer gaan. Voor het geld hoef je het zeker niet te laten en kun je eigenlijk alleen maar heel erg tevreden zijn. Ik voelde me er prima thuis en de mensen zijn erg vriendelijk. The location was excellent and there was a lot to do right there. The hotel I stayed at was the Seagull and it was ok. If you are not spending much time in the room like us then it is fine but the only thing that really disappointed me was that the description said the room had a sofa and it didn't and that when we came back from the beach and showered […] the water turned off and I couldn't wash my baby's bottles. This review is simply based on the price. The location was excellent. Right by the beach. It helped that there Pools around and had bbq grills to use at our disposal. Upon arrival we were given a room that did not match the description and therefore received an upgrade for free. First of all this was not the Mariott but for the price and location plus service we will return. This note is for Natasha thsnk you for your hospitality and friendliness to strangers who have become your friend's. I was expcting a single room Above expectation I received a one bed room with a living room/kitchen. Lots of bang for my buck.

I stayed at this hotel at 1915n ocean drive and was very disappointed with the room I stayed in. The room was dirty, the sheets did not look clean. When we arrived there, there wasn't any towels in the bathroom. We had to go ask for towels to which we were told that there weren't any clean yet. Also there wasn't any soap in the bathroom to wash our […] hands and freshen up after our flights. The floors had sand and dirt on them and we did not feel free to walk in our bare feet. On the floor on one side of the beds we found a balled up piece of dirty tissue so that disgusted us even more. There were grease stains on one of the bedspreads so we removed them right away because we did not want to be lying on a dirty bed. This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. I did not complain because I had to pay for the room in advance because it was the policy of the hotel. I can see why they make you pay up front because they would never get their money if they didn't. I will never stay there again and I will be telling my travelling friends not to stay there as well. I am very disappointed with hotels.com for booking this hotel for me and in the future I will not use them again!! Lees meer

The area was great!!! The hotel was horrible, it was one of the worst place I every stayed. My husband is tall and could not fit in the bathroom. The beach location was fantastic but this is not a hotel. they showed you the picture of a place next door and then put us in horrible little room that seems like a maid quarters. The description on Hotel.com […] is nothing of what we had in store for. Because of this we spend most of our time outside. We had visitors and could not take them to our room. This motel was very clean and convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was located very close to the Hollywood Boardwalk. It's not a 5 star luxury, but for the price, the rooms and the location are more than worth it. Also, the setup of the rooms was very unique. Great staff, given an instant upgrade. Older hotels but upgraded room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was only a few hundred feet from the beach and boardwalk. The price was very inexpensive but was charged a 10 dollar parking fee, didn't like that surprise. There is no free street parking. I would recommend this hotel and will go there again.

Property is old, dated and tired. Continental breakfast a "bad joke". Not enough soap, shampoo for 2 nights stay. "Surprise" daily "parking fee". Overall negative experience.

Booked this hotel and assumed I was going to get a room at least similar to the pictures provided. Apparently this is a chain of hotels, and connected is scummy motels. Got stuck in a studio room which was cramped. The bed was uncomfortable, only two pillows for a queen sized bed, NO room service, NO electrical outlet in the bathroom, shower was scary […] looking. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. The nicest thing in that room was the TV. Very disappointed with what we got for the amount of money I spent! The location was excellent though! So close to the boardwalk and beach; that is were we spent most of our time. Staff was friendly. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who cares a little bit about where they want to stay. My stay was perfect for the teens I had. Kitchenette for cooking. Breakfast was decent. Close to the beach and had a pool and patio type setting. Clean enough for boys. I didn't sleep well on the old mattress I had but it didn't seam to bother the boys. I only saw them for food and sleep.

I was there for the annual Beach Bash racquetball tournament @ Garfield Park. The hotel was okay. We were either playing at the beach or out for dinner. The rooms are okay. Our room did have a full kitchen which was nice especially for the price.

If you are looking for value and location, this is the place for you. It is just seconds from the wonderful Broadwalk of Hollywood Beach. If you are looking for […] luxury and being pampered then look elsewhere. During the peek season the owner, who is awesome, holds a free party for the guests. There is free food and plenty to drink. In addition he provides entertainment, even fireworks. The daily continental breakfast consists of cereal, toast, coffee, tea, and juice. It's not a lot, but it's free and the only hotel I know that is doing it. Plenty of extras and amenities. Quality, comfort, and price. We stayed at the Blue Wave, you can't beat it. The heated pool was awesome and all the amenities were great. I highly recommend a stay at the Hollywood Beach Hotels. Lees meer

Beware “Hollywood Beach Hotels” is a group of old hotels that are side by side which are painted the same to look like one hotel. The hotel in the Hotels.com is only one of the four. The others are not as nice looking. Our room for the first night was terrible. It was very noisy, dirty and the electrical wiring was substandard. There was hair on the […] pillow cases and the sheets did not look clean. There was mold on the shower curtain. The bedroom was approximately 10 feet from the noisy highway. In the kitchen, there was an extension cord running across the floor powering the air conditioning. In the bathroom, the hairdryer had no power and the mirror is not over the sink. Fortunately, next day we were able to change rooms and it was much better however there was no maid service. Location was convenient. We easily walked to the beach and could take the trolley to downtown and grocery store. There are some shops and restaurants within walking distance. If you are searching for a quirky Florida experience, this is the place. If you are in need of a luxury stay, find another hotel. There is a parking fee that should be in the details but we saw it in previous comments so we were aware. The hotel is one block from the beach, hence the parking fee. Beds were comfortable. Clean enough but details definitely needs some attention. We had dishes in the kitchen but no pots or pans. No way to wash our dishes and no maid service that did it for us. Location of hotel was perfect, close to boardwalk, It was a very clean European type hotel. Staff is friendly and hotel is moderately priced. I arrived on a Sunday and a party was being held. Party was a warm welcome reception and lots of fun. I will defintely stay there again and would highly recommend staying here to others.

I stay in Hollywood 2 week ends a month and this is one of the better hs all hotels on beachside. The rooms and facilities are old but you're in a safe area with a very friendly staff, which to me is the most important thing. This is a multy building complex made up of several older motels. Our intial opinion when arriving was not a pleasant as we expected, however although the outside of some of the buildings looked old the rooms were surpisingly bright and clean. This is not a 2.5 star hotel: very old building, old polyester bed sheets that don't match, see-through hole in the wall, peeling wallpapers, leaking sealing, old kitchen cabinets, cockroaches. For money paid could find better place to stay. Receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. Location is good.
