Alles was perfect in orde: kamer met prachtig uitzicht, zeer net, goede zwem-en sauna facilitetiten, prima shuttle service naar het vliegveld. Het ontbijt zat bij de prijs in en was zeer uitgebreid. I was a little annoyed with this hotel as they do not offer free WiFi, and when I tried to use their TV internet, for which they charge $9.00 (US), it worked HORRIBLY, so I called down to the desk and asked them to cancel and refund my money as it was very hard to read on the TV screen, and very difficult to use, and that it was pretty much useless […] to me and that I wouldn't be using it. Nevertheless the next morning they charged me for it anyway. There is a lot of security at this hotel (checking cab driver's trunk when being dropped off, metal detector in the lobby), which is either good or bad, depending on you point of view. Room was pretty quiet considering it's not too far from the airport (about a 10 minute drive), and the bed was comfortable enough. I didn't explore the neighborhood, but it didn't look too interesting from the window. I doubt I would stay there again if ever in Istanbul, but it served it's purpose for me for an early flight the next morning. Lees meer

The stay was very satisfactory in all regards except the temperature of the room at night. The AC didn't work after 9pm and the bed was not furnished with a sheet. The duvet was way too warm given the temperature of the room,25C, and their was no way to adjust the bedding. The duvet would have been comfortable at 15C. I chose this hotel because I wanted something comfortable for our last day in Turkey. It is close to the airport for our departure the next day, and had free shuttle service to the airport where we were able to catch the metro into Sultanahmet for a nice dinner, and walk around Haggia Sophia and Blue Mosque at sunset. It is clean and service is friendly and rooms are spacious. Buffett breakfast is not ideal and expensive for what it is and it is not as close to the airport as one might want. Rememberr that shuttle leaves attaturk at the buttom of the hour (6:30, 7:30 and so on) and from the hotel 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and so on)

It is the best hotel I saw in Istanbul. They have a free shuttle from the airport every hour, all the drivers were so helpful. The hotel reception were friendly and helpful on everything. They have strong security on the hotel. That is a big plus!

Staff and personnel were very professional and helpful. The Riva hotel looks beautiful and clean. The daily continental breakfast was excellent and rich with variety. This is an airport hotel....close to istanbul's exhibition center. Beware...this is an hour out of the city by train/tram. By cab, depending on the traffic, could be worse. So do not stay here if you are looking to go into Istanbul proper, more than once, as a side trip. Staff were real nice. We paid for our hotel thriugh expedia and i also called the hotel to confirm. But when we arrived at the hotel, we were told they had no rooms available and wanted to send us to a nearby hotel. I am 7 mnths pregnant and have a 2 year old, yet they still wanted me to go somewhere else at late at night! I had a fight with them and suprisingly they had […] a room for us!! I had requested a non smoking room but they gave me a smoking room and the smell really bugged me. Breakfast was great though. But i will never stay there again!! Lees meer

We stayed one night @ the hotel. We needed a nice, clean and convenient place to stay close to the airport. The hotel more than delivered! Our view was incredible, the room was very spacious and our booking was a breeze. Only hiccup is the "free" wifi. It's only free in the lobby. The hotel gives you more than expected. The shuttle bus from and to airport runs in regular intervals. At the hotel you are received by front desk with smiling faces. The check in is smooth. You get help with luggages to and from your room. The rooms are fairly big. We had one with two double beds. Internet connection was easy. The room was equipped […] with a flat screen TV. Bathroom was nicely appointed. It is very near the airport, as it states. One has to note that Airport is at least 45 mins away from downtown. However, one can use Metro and Tram from Airport to downtown. Time taken will be about 15 mins more but will cost lot less. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was sumptuous and includes an omlette bar. However, fresh juice is not included in breakfast buffet and seperately charged. Dinner at hotel restaurant offers excellent food although the menu is limited. There is a large shopping mall nearby. Cost by taxi is about TL 10.00. Exhange rate at hotel is excellent. The front desk people are very halpful. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel. Lees meer

The hotel charges for internet and breakfast. It is ridiculous for a business hotel to charge for these services. As well, the carpets in the hallways look like an old person's legs. The hotel should invest more in upkeep.

This is the perfect hotel before or after your flight to Istanbul. Very comfortable King-size bed, good TV and Internet, large shower and a shuttle to/from the airport. You can expect to be very satisfied.

Excellent service. I had a long layover in Istanbul and they allowed me to check in @ 0900. Totally saved my day because I had to book my connecting flight through a different carrier and didn't get a free hotel through Turkish Air. I will definitely stay again.

The staff members at this hotel were wonderful! They were very helpful, answering all my questions and taking care of all details of my stay. My room was beautiful, looking out on the city (although this area of the city is not the lovely view you might get in Sultanahmet or another more historical area of Istanbul, the lights are pretty at night). […] There is a free shuttle to and from the airport every hour. I did miss my breakfast that was included in the price. I had to leave for the airport at 4:30 in the morning (for a flight at 6:20 a.m.) and although a box breakfast was ordered, it was not ready and I had to leave, not wanting to make the taxi wait for some unknown period of time while they put something together. All in all, I would definitely stay here again on my last night in Istanbul as it is very convenient to the airport and was a pleasurable experience. Lees meer

This hotel forgot to attend to the most important thing: beds. The mattresses were way too firm; my hips started hurting a couple of hours after trying to sleep. I asked the staff to give me one of those eggshell foam mattresses to put on top, but they did nothing. This three-year old hotel is very modern and situated 2.5 miles from Ataturk Airport, the main reason we booked it. The provide a courtesy shuttle from and to the airport, which saved us the cost of a taxi. The large buffet breakfast, typically Turkish, was served in a spacious dining room. We used the Courtyard simply to be close to the airport for an early morning flight. It took half an hour just to check in - long queue - not enough staff - people rudely butting into the queue without the staff sending them to the back. Unpleasant start. The room itself was super, no complaints at all. The restaurant was disappointing for a Courtyard […] - just a bit up from a cafeteria (in my humble opinion). But food was fine. In the morning, our 'free airport transfer' that was supposed to take 15 minutes left the hotel, then stopped at another hotel where the driver disappeared inside for 15 minutes, no explanation...another group of passengers got on, no apology for the delay. Not a big deal, just a bit annoying. We could just as easily have taken a taxi and been at the airport in 10 minutes. We just expected a bit more from a Courtyard. Lees meer

The staff was efficient and courteous and the room was excellent. I do have one major complaint. I booked this room expecting easy shuttle service to and from the airport. However, the shuttle runs only once an hour. Since we just missed it, that meant standing on the curb for another 58 minutes to catch the next van. We got a cab instead, adding to […] the cost of our stay. In addition, we arrived at the domestic terminal, and there is no signage indicating where to go to catch the shuttle, which is through the parking garage and on the other side of the airport at the international terminal. We spent about 20 minutes wandering around and asking non-English-speaking people for help we couldn't understand. One fellow used sign language to insist we follow him. He took us to the site (which we would never have found on our own), but, no surprise, expected a big tip, further adding to the cost. I tried several times calling the front desk for help, but the hotels.com print out we had for our reservation has the wrong number - an extra zero! - so couldn't get help that way, and we may have incurred long distance charges ( more cost!) with numerous unsuccessful attempts on variations of the number. Please change the reservation notices to give clear instructions on where to catch the shuttle, how often it runs, and a correct number to call for help. Lees meer

The management of this hotels needs to wake up!. Standing in line 40 minutes for a check out is outrageous. The manager is a Dutch guy that does not seem to have a clue as he does not have enough staff to take care of his guest. Waiting 40 minutes to check out i missed the shuttle and therefore almost missed my flight. Had to have acarzy taxi ride....Shuttle […] service for number of people is totally not enough. Seem that management has forgotten that they operate a hotel to servE guests. I would not stay at this hotel again.To many other choices that do not have these problems. Airport shuttle a plus - you need to go to the international terminal for pick up. Staff was helpful in arranging our early morning transportation as well. Limited tv channels. Free wifi in lobby (charge for access in room). Clean, well-appointed room. Quiet.
