Gloednieuw hotel gelegen in Gongduk (niet zoals gespeld in de routebeschrijving van boeking). Vanuit uitgang metro exit 2, richting winkelcentrum lopen en dan naar boven met de lift richting Lobby en eventueel kamers (wel de hotel lift nemen en niet de appartementen lift). Klein winkelcentrum inclusief supermarkt beneden in de kelder, eenvoudig om […] daar snel ontbijt te halen. Gratis internet op de kamer, alles is net nieuw dus dat maakt het een prettig hotel om te verblijven. clean and posh room with a nice bed. suitable for a restful sleep. somehow they had no wifi in the room. probably because there are apartments situated above the hotel. There is a lan point which you can use thou.

Nice and clean hotel. Close to the metro.. but the room is a bit small. Anyway overall is pretty good

The hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The location was great, with a supermarket on the basement floor. It was also very close to the subway line, which was really convenient! The hotel is in a very convenient location just above a subway station and an arcade with a supermarket, cafes, and so on. Everything is clean and cheerful. The staff are helpful. A very nice swimming pool.

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 times already. What else can you ask for if the room is tidy, clean, comfy and the hotel is conveniently located?

The subway station " gongduk" is right under the hotel building, you don't have to go outside to get access the subway station. That's good for everyone. By the way, coffee shops and Korean restaurants on the "LG" floor are clean and delicious.The Lotte supermarket also on the "LG" floor is open til 23:00.

Although not as "swanky" as the downtown Lotte nor the Jamshil Lotte, this hotel is perfect for the average businessman or vacationing couple. The hotel is linked to the underground subway station (Gongduk station). The station offers lines 5 and 6 plus the "A" line that goes to Incheon International Airport. comfortable hotel with nice location, easy to access nomatter from airport or subway. but the only worse of this hotel is the front desk staff, they were no passion and not friendly at all. Just to remind, buffet bfast there is from 0630 -0930 only.

Only have Wi-Fi at Lobby! No Wi-Fi service in Room! Can't use Ipad & iphone at Room!

Loved our stay in this hotel. They were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We even asked for a humidifier and they had one for us to borrow. The only problem is that I thought this hotel was located in Mapo station (because of the name of the hotel), when in fact its in gongdeok. Otherwise it was a nice stay & would recommend.

This is the third time my wife and I have visited Seoul in the last 7 years. We usually opt to stay in the City Hall area. I'm so glad we decided to give Lotte City Hotel in Mapo a try. I stayed here for 2 nights last week. The room was pretty small but the bathroom was huge. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked how the hotel was connected to 2 subway lines as well as to a supermarket, plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries and beauty shops. My husband and I also got a massage from the spa on the 3rd floor which […] gave discounts to the people staying at Lotte City Hotel. Although this is no where near Lotte Hotel in downtown, for the price, Lotte City Hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient (subway lines as well as the Inchon Airport bus stop right outside). I stayed at the hotel from Dec. 3rd to December 4th this year. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - they speak decent English and processed my check-in and check out promptly. The room was neat and comfortably furnished. If you'd like to use their complementary internet, the necessary cable and ports are located in the desk provided in your standard […] double room. Good qualty service and facility. Very easy to get to metro and airport bus. Will definitely be our first choice in Seoul.

Room is very nicely decorated and clean, but small for western standard. The bed is on the firm side. It is right on top of 2 subway stations, supermarket, restaurants, bakery, and coffee shops. The location is relativity close to the tourist areas. There is free internet but you must bring your own Ethernet cable or access point. a hotel has no bell boy. we carried the heavy luggage from the ground floor lobby, took an escalator, got to the check-in counter, walked through a big circle to find our room. i dont know how to call this as a hotel. The girl who helped us check-in didn;t tell us there is a short-cut we can just get to our room with 3mins instead of carrying heavy […] boxes and walked for 15mins. Not only that, 70% of the "HELPFUL staff" here speak ZERO english. 20% of them speak BAD english, and 10% of them speak normal english. I called and asked for an adaptor, they told me to go to the lobby and pick it up. I dont understand why housekeeping cant deliver it. Their answer is " Housekeeping get off at 5pm". Nice room and very convenient. The tube station is virtually downstairs. Airport limousine bus stop is only 1 min away from the hotel. Everything just spots on!!!!

We loved the location of this hotel right on top of the intersection of subway lines 5 & 6. Also, the market in the basement is handy; and the pool is pristine. The room was immaculate and well-appointed. My only complaint would be that it was difficult to cool the room down at night.

One of the good things about this hotel is that it was located above the Gongdeok station. This station is an interchange and two central lines (purple and ocher) run through it. There is also a supermarket at the basement which opens till 11pm and a few restaurants. A con is that there's nothing else in the surrounding area, so you'll have to almost […] always take a train out. The hotel itself is huge, a business hotel and relatively clean. Like that there's a couple of washing machines and dryers for you to do your laundry (KRW 2K each machine and 500won for washing powder) Rooms are ok in size but the bathroom is not functionally built. Very good all around hotel for business and leisure travelers. Its very close to the heart of seoul and very convenient for business travelers.

Hotel is very near to subway, which is accessible to popular shopping areas. There is a big supermarket and resturant below the hotel. Great thing us there is a small restaurant which serve traditional Korean food and taste good with good service.

Lotte City Hotel is relatively new. Although the room is a bit small, but clean & comfortable. Location is great. A Lotte supermarket & subway are at the basement. Easy to get to popular tourist attractions via subway. Getting to Lotte City Hotel is easy via airport limo 6015 ( second stop from Incheon ). Getting to the hotel was not too bad. From the Icheon airport, the airport train and transfering to #6 subway at the digital electronic city took us about 50 minutes to get to Lotte. It was a bit of pain carrying a large luggage down the stairs in the subway. Most of the esclators were going up. Later this year the airport train should go directly to […] the hotel. Price reasonable, from hotel to directly to subway.

The room is fairly close to downtown Seoul, only a short subway ride away. The surrounding neighborhood is mostly residential and there isn’t much in walking distance. Very fantastic stay with nice swimming pool, convenience to the city area, good service from the front desk staff, nice room and many more. Very conveience as the supermarket is just at the basement with many resturants and cafes. Location of the hotel is very "peaceful" where no heavy traffic or noisy surrounding, its just 15min away of sub way rides […] to the main shopping district. I had a two-night stay at Lotte City Hotel. It was one of the first drop-off points of the airport bus - pay a little extra for the comfortable limousine service. I found the hotel staff extremely friendly and helpful and the room spotless, modern and had a great view of the district, even when sitting in the bath. Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Seoul. It is right above the metro system and it is really convenient during winter. You will be able to access places of interest rather easily- USO (if you are taking the DMZ tour with the USO), Korean War Memorial, National Museum, World cup Stadium (if you are into soccer), itaewon and Myeonyang. The room […] though small is clean and very business like. The only downside is the hotel has no wifi and the bus service to and from the hotel can be rather tricky for a foreigner. This is a bare bones place to stay, not luxury. We had to call housekeeping at 4 pm to come clean our room after we'd been out all day and had left the notice on to "make up the room". They seemed baffled by our request. The Front Desk staff is barely accommodating, little English spoken or understood. We tried to upgrade our room prior to our stay, […] and it was difficult to get an email for them much less a phone number. We finally called via Skype and they were of no help. If you are just there for a weekend stay and you are fluent in Korean, stay there. Otherwise, take a pass. Lees meer

We were two ladies traveling alone, and we felt so at home in this Hotel. There is everything you need inside the building or very easy to access by the most convenient subway located adjacent to the hotel I would only say that we had a little trouble keeping the room cool enough. I was deciding on a few different hotels before choosing Lotte City Hotel. I was happy with my choice. First, the hotel is located right next to 2 subway lines so you can get up and go sight seeing right away. Second, there are restaurants, markets and salons right underneath the hotel, making it convenient to go shopping for the daily supplies. The hotel gym, pool and laundry is also very clean and useful. The gym doesn't have any weight machines but does come with a few free weights. Overall, lovely hotel. The rooms are smaller than what most westerners would like however. The hotel is within walking distance of the subway and many great restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was keeping my room cool. It was warmer than what I would have liked.

This hotel was clean and well-kept. It's like a city of it's own. The basement levels of this hotel contains restaurants and a Lotte Supermarket that we visited every day. It's also above a train station that is accessible without having to get wet on a rainy day (it poured 3 days when we were there). There is a covered area that we can walk from one […] end of the hotel to the train station. While the location of the hotel is convenient, there is no attraction around the area within walking distance. We had to take the train everywhere. And at the end of a long walking day, even a hike back to the hotel is too much. Another great feature of the hotel is the daily drop off shuttle bus service to the main shopping areas. A complimentary shuttle bus is available at 10 am and 3pm every weekday (9 am, 11 am, and 3 pm on weekends) at the front of the hotel to pick up hotel guests and drop them off at certain shopping areas. The bus was very punctual. We stayed on the fourth floor and it was the best floor to stay on. We were across from the beautiful and huge pool, laundry room, and gym. The pool is very clean and relaxing. We only wish there was enough time to enjoy it more. It opens at 6 am to 10 pm. If it was open pass 10, we'd be using it everyday. The rooms are standard American hotel size. They were very clean too. Be careful getting to the hotel after getting off the airport limosine bus because we had to cross a busy street. It was weird that the bus didn't drop us off in front of the hotel. The walk wasn't far but was a bit hectic when we each had a huge suitcase. I'd stay here again for the pool and cleanliness. I'd love it more if it was closer to the main attractions. Then again, there's the Lotte Seoul Hotel that probably fulfills all those requirements for a premium. Lees meer
