This hotel was the worst we have stayed in over many years of travels. Dirty is an understatement to describe the room. Dried toothpaste on the rim of the bathroom sink. Carpets that were appauling. We were told the "free shuttle" to the airport ran at all hours. It did not "start the day" until 6 am which we had to take a cab to meet our 7 am flight. […] We requested the cab to be there at 5:30 by the evening staff. No cab at 5:45 am. Morning staff had to call. Ridiculous amount to pay for the poor service, appauling accomodations etc. DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION. Lees meer

I liked the hotel overall. The employees where very nice. The rooms where clean and kept up. The only thing I saw was the carpet on all floors had some sort of stain on them. Maybe bleach? I liked the size if the rooms and comfort level of the beds. The bathroom was very clean and had enough room for all the space a women needs to get ready.

Hotel room was dusty, TV remote did not work and when we asked for some one to come and replace it, we were asked to come down to front lobby to get batteries. Overall great staff, they were just over worked.

Wi fi connection is very poor, but everything else was great.

hotel is adequate but not as close to the airport as we were led to believe. Also the shuttle was unavailable before 6:00 am so we were charged $40 to get to the airport and since we left so early, no breakfast, although upon request, they gave us some apples to go. Nice room, good A/C. Only real problem was that the TV remote work well, worked intermittently. Mgmt didn't have a replacement.

We showed up early and was told our room was not ready. We went ahead and signed in and was told that they would call us when the room was ready. They gave us raffle type tickets to hold instead of just using our names.They did not offer to hold our luggage for us so we waited in the lobby for 2 hours while our room was getting ready. While waiting […] we found about 10 other groups waiting for their rooms but they were offered a place to store their luggage while they went shopping at a near by shopping center. At 3:00 on the dot they yelled out to all waiting for their rooms that they were ready. I felt this was very unprofessional and that we were treated like cattle at this point. In my head I was amazed how all these room came available at the same time. So a crowd of us had to wait for the elevator at the same time. When we got up stair to the floor we were on the carpet was disgusting. Filthy dirty with bleach stains in between the rooms. My mother in laws room smelled like bleach but at least that meant it was clean, right? On our floor (we were not near my MIL who booked at the same time and they knew we were together) the carpet was just as bad and our room smelled worse. Not sure what they used to clean but it was the smell of something. The room was very nice and roomy, much bigger than the cruise ship room we had. Bed was comfy, TV was great, plenty of plugs for various electronics. They did have wifi and a computer room both of which we didn't use. When we were in the elevator going to dinner 8 of the cleaning staff walked in to the elevator and were very loud. No respect for the patrons in the elevator. The Cuban restaurant across the street was great if you can get there with getting hit or walking a mile down the street. When we left in the morning we had to find a ride because the shuttle didn't start until after 6:00 and our flight was at 6:10. This is the second time I stayed at the Best Western Fort Lauderdale Airport. And I have to say the say is overall pleasant. I stayed last year in May and again in April of this year. The bathroom is a little small but its only my husband and I so its not a true issue. The only concern I have is both times I stayed at the hotel, there was always a minimal […] attitude received by the front desk staff. The first time I stayed my husband had a run in with the front desk clerk. He wouldn't tell me why, just that he "handled it". ???? This time I asked for additional wash clothes due to the room only containing one and it took 45 minutes for someone to arrive. I had my husband call, and he was questioned on how many was in the room. Despite these two situations I would recommend the hotel, its close to Fort L. airport, Dania Beach, and Miami. Lees meer

I enjoyed my stay...if I need another room in Florida l will stay here...I like the way it was cleaned..can not find too many of those hotels anymore.

I only stayed in the hotel for 7 hours, but it was very nice for what I needed. It would have been a little nicer if they had food service open after 11:00 pm. Prior reviews have commented on the carpet, which I would agree needed some replacing. Overall a nice but little too short stay.

Good hotel good lacation very frendly.We enjoy every minutes of it.I would recommend to anybody.

The price was right. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The carpet needed cleaning in some spots, but other than that we had an excellent stay.

This hotel fit just what we needed. The ;price is right and there is a shuttle to cruise lines in port and to the airport. The room was comfortable and the staff was friendly, but I missed a few things, such as easy access to restaurants/stores. Everyone recommended the Cuban restaurant across the street (which was the closest restaurant), but crossing […] 4 lanes of busy traffic at night didn't appeal to me. Also, the halls had an off smell--I couldn't pinpoint whether it was deodorizer used to cover a smell or cleaning supplies. However, as I stayed there 10 days later, I think it was deodorizer used to cover a musty smell. This is a BUSY hotel! Many people stay here to meet cruises. For thecost, room and the convenience of the shuttle, I still give the hotel a 4. Lees meer

We stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights-March 18 and 19--Post Cruise. We did get here early in the day as the cruise dismissed us at 9:30 so when we arrived at the hotel about 10:30-were not surprised that they couldn't give us a room immediately-they did however let us check in so as soon as a room was clean-we were just handed our room key. It was approx. […] 2PM when we got into our room. The room was large and we asked for a room facing the nursery because we had read on this review that the Highway side was a little noisier and we were extremely pleased with our whole experience. We overlooked the pool which I did get a chance to use and the area around the pool was very clean and pleasant. Everyone was super friendly and we had no complaints with anyone. The breakfast was very nice--eggs, bacon, waffles, various fresh fruit, 4 kinds of cold cereal, milk, juice, coffee, hot water, toast, bagels, english muffins, If you couldn't find something there for an nourishing breakfast, you wouldn't have anywhere. Machine in the room for early coffee or tea. They don't have a shuttle from the cruise terminal but they do have a shuttle to the airport and we had rented a car at Port Everglades so that was not a problem for us. I was pleased to stay here before my cruise. They had free transport to the cruise dock and even offered an option for only $8 (I think) to be picked up after the cruise and either taken back to the hotel or to the airport. So convenient. The room was nice and had comfortable beds and pillows. I would definitely stay there again.

Everythin was ok except for thr shuttle to the airport they did not make the transportation i had to pay a private shuttle.

Very difficult to get to a restaurant from this hotel. No especially warm and welcoming surroundings. Better hotels in area for very little more. Very small over crowded pool. Breakfast was feeding at the ZOO. You can do better for the money....

At the last moment of my business trip I needed to find accommodations for the night and selected this hotel from Hotels.com. It's the height of S. Florida's snowbird season, so I was shocked to be able to get a room in a decent hotel and at the late hour I booked it. So I arrived and was quickly checked in by a lovely front desk attendant and told […] about the complimentary free breakfast in the AM and it's hours. The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable and that's pretty much all I needed. The next day it turns out I had to spend one more day, so I went back to Hotels.com and booked the room again BUT this time when I was checked in they upgraded me to a suite and it was simply awesome. Great quality hotel, it's only 3 yrs old. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was also very good! I would highly recommend it.

Overall Pretty Good. Front desk Staff not friendly. Beds and pillows were amazing. Breakfast was chaos. No room to move, never mind sit in comfort. Hall carpet needed attention, either cleaned or replaced. Very close to shopping, cruise port and airport. We would stay again.

I stayed for a family visit in area. Waited two-hours for pick-up at Ft Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport! If you were there to embark/debark cruise ship you were likely picked up in a more promptly! Close to everything in Ft Lauderdale (Las Olas, airport, Port Everglades) and beaches (off 17th Street Causeway; if you can endure traffic)-I'd […] spend the extra $$ and stay at Embassy Suites on 17th Street Causeway next time. Rooms were well kept and building is surprisingly quiet; considering it is situated next to Interstate 95. Eat breakfast early! (the cruise ship crowd invades around 8:00) Got a great deal on the room, but didn't like being inundated by cruise ship crowd-if your in town to visit family friends and plan on spending some time on the property-look elswhere (not a place for leisure stay in Ft Lauderdale). Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a great deal, lots of goodies. The room was furnished nicely with a modern feel. The only recommendation I have for this hotel is that they get whiter sheets. Though clean, they had a dull look to them.

Hotel was just what I was looking for in terms of convenience to airport and cruise port. Very nice staff, clean rooms, great breakfast. I really appreciated the prompt pick up to and from the airport!

This hotel appears to be very new. The king bed room was unexpectedly very big, with a sofa and a nice desk. The wired internet worked without issue, but the WIFI signal was too weak. The pickup from the airport took 45 minutes in total, which isn't really acceptable for a hotel 5 minutes away. The drop off the next morning however left right on time. […] A lone front desk attendant had to check in 5 of us by herself (we waited 15 minutes in the lobby). The same attendant was so busy the phone rang off the hook for 5-10 minutes for us (and other guests), often never connecting. My boyfriend and I booked this hotel for a quiet, 4-night stay during spring break. It was much more affordable than any place on the water, and we still found plenty to do during our stay! We were impressed by the incredibly clean and comfortable room, the well-maintained pool area, and the satisfying breakfast each morning. We took a cab to the beach […] one day and it was definitely worthwhile. The nearby mall was a nice place to walk around and kill some time, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. However, like many places, we didn't feel comfortable being out after dark. One thing that surprised me was the demographics of the other hotel patrons - most of them are retired, and its true that many stay only one night on their way to a cruise. But this shouldn't affect anyone's stay. Breakfast was busy a couple of mornings, but there was always plenty of food and delicious coffee. Housekeeping was prompt and did a fantastic job. If you stay here, you'll be grateful for the swift shuttle service to and from the airport. We were in our hotel room only 30 minutes after our plane landed! This hotel has everything you might want on your stay, including updated and modern appliances, and great TV channels. Lauderdale hotels are expensive in winter. Dania Beach/ / Hollywood wasn't really where I wanted to stay but i got much better value for money than right in Ft lauderdale, This is a nice newer hotel, I'd stay here again for sure. big room, with a couch, clean, easy access to 95, mall across the street,

The bed was extremely comfortable & the room was very roomy. The only downside (if I have to state one) is that there are no nearby restaurants....only fast food places within walking distance. However, since we only stayed one night, we were very happy with the hotel & price.

The room was nice and clean, but the hotel service was very poor. They wouldn't answer their phone when we tried to call the free shuttle from the airport. After 4 attempts to call over a 15 minute period, someone finally answered. We eventually found the shuttle and made it to the hotel only to find a crowded and disorganized front desk. It took 20 […] minutes to check in. The free breakfast was below average in quality. And the paid shuttle to the cruise ship was a total disaster, which is another long story in itself. This hotel seems to be mostly a stopover for those getting on a cruise ship the next day. Our room smelled was semi clean and not at all comfortable. The smell didn't go away with time as one would expect. Never again and for those looking for a quick overnight prior to a cruise, look elsewhere.

Good size room, good matteras, good bathroom, convenient to my business calls. It was very busy at check in with cruise customers,not really a business hotel. My room had a smell of odor spray that was uncomfortable. I would use it again but would probably look around first.

Stayed here one night while traveling. A cut above other Best Westerns. Definitely recommend it.

It was convenient for what we wanted, close to our show. Cost was very good, bed was totally awesome comfortable, and free breakfast---how can you go wrong?
