Boardwalk, Small Hotel Aruba in Palm Beach

Wonderful small resort, close to the beach, standing out from the huge mass-resorts of Palm beach which is just a block away. Led by most friendly, welcoming and easy-going Belgian twins, who will let you feel "at home" instantly. This hotel is located across from the beach a perfect little hideaway with more privacy then a hotel. Our casita was very clean but was a little dated. However, it gave charm to the casita and we had everything we needed for the week. The room was always cleaned very well, they even made swans out of towels and had fresh lemonade and flowers one day!The […] owners were there daily to check up on everything and gave us lots of useful tips about what to do and where to go. There was construction going on in the casita next door but the sisters were very up front about it and called to schedule the loud construction around us. They really went above and beyond and we will absolutely be back. Hopefully in one of the newly renovated casitas. Did not stay. Left place and called hotels.com. Customer service agent was wonderful and got us a different room at Brickell Bay which we liked very much.

my husband and i tend to travel last minute. we fell upon this quiant llitle hotel by chance and are so glad we did. it is very quiet, clean, and home-like .i have recommended the BEACHWALK HOTEL to all our friends and family. we will definately be revisiting especially to all the new renovations

The Hotel is quiet, but the hotel was under re-constructiuon. The room was not completed and I am a single dad with 2 girls ages 12 and 10 and no cable for my 4 day stay. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are not into the big high rises of the main vacation resorts. It is tucked away, but still accessible to everything either by walking or bus. The staff were absolutely fantastic! Thanks so much Kim for the cold remedy and help with directions!

The bungalow-style, small resort contrasts with the high-rise beachfront resorts that are within easy walking distance. Free wifi was a plus, but only worked near the main office.

Highly recommend a stay in this hotel if you are going to Aruba! The ONLY real recomendation I have is to rent a car. The boardwalk is a short walk accross the street to the waterfront, but you need a car (or spend at least as much in taxi fares) to get around the island. The bus stop is about 100 yards down the road, which is good for nights you would […] like to have a drink. This hotel is run by two sisters who are constantly doing their best to make improvements. Some of the upgrades to the hotel have already begun. I only hope that the price does not change. The price per night is about 1/3 the price of the Marriot accross the street. The Boardwalk is very nice-good location, convenient to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Stephanie and Kimberly are very pleasant and helpful in providing any information that you need about the surrounding area. The casita was very roomy and it was very easy to relax and enjoy your stay. We would definitely stay again.

We were stuck in the area thanks to a cancelled flight and decided to book several nights here because it was in our price range and had a kitchen. We were disappointed when we checked in because our casita wasn't ready (it was after the check in time). When we got inside we were also disappointed in the kitchen...there's no oven and it had a very dated […] stovetop that we were not about to try to use. The furniture is dated and the living area never got cool enough to want to sit in there. We had to turn the air off in the bedroom in the middle of the night because the gears were grinding and sounded like the ac would blow up. Also, the curtains in the bedroom weren't black out curtains so every time a car drove past it would shine through the window and I was afraid of waking up in the middle of the night and having a person standing outside our window staring at us. They have pictures in the office of what the place will look like once they begin renovations and we may consider going back once those are complete but for now, it was not what we had hoped for after an already frustrating extended vacation due to cancelled flights. Das Boardwalk ist eine kleine gemütliche Anlage in zweiter Reihe hinter den Hotelhochhäusern. Die Casitas liegen in einem idyllischen Garten, jede mit eigener Terrasse, Hängematte und Weber-Grill. Sie sind sehr geräumig, gut und komfortabel eingerichtet und werden in den kommenden Monaten reihum renoviert (was meiner Meinung nach nicht nötig wäre). […] Dann sind sie wahrscheinlich nicht nur sehr gut sondern hervorragend! Die Küche hat einen riesigen Kühlschrank mit grossem Gefrierfach, modernen Herd, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Mikrowelle. Die Zimmermädchen bringen täglich die gesamte Wohnung in einen Tip-Top-Zustand. Zum Strand sind es 3 Minuten zu Fuß, nach Oranjestad 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. (Braucht man auf Aruba! Es gibt viele schöne Strände - Baby Beach, Mangel Halto (toll zum Schnorcheln) - und Natursehenswürdigkeiten ausserhalb der "Touristenmeile".) Das Hotelteam gibt tolle Tipps bezüglich Restaurants, Stränden, Tauchcentern und hilft bei Anliegen aller Art. Wer nicht auf Hotelburgen mit hunderten von Zimmern steht, ist hier bestens aufgehoben! Meget fornøyde med oppholdet. Koselig hotell med serviceinnstillt personale. Eget kjøkken med kaffitrakter, kjøl/frys og komfyr. Kull-grill, bord/stoler og hengekøy på terassen. Dei siste dagane skulle naboleiligheten pusses opp, og det blei litt støy frå kl 10.00 og utover. Dette fekk me kompensert med penger, og siste kvelden fekk me i tillegg ei […] flaske vin for ubekvemmelighetene. Ligger eit lite stykke frå "hotellområde" med butikker og restauranter, leigde bil og kjørte som regel, sjølv om det er fullt mulig å gå til fots. Gratis tilgang til "Moomba Beach" sine strandstoler (5-10 minutter å gå). Kan absolutt anbefales! Lees meer

We enjoyed our stay at boardwalk. The people working there are very nice and service minded. The hotel is small so you Get in touch with other guests. Every casita has a barbeque, we loved cooking dinner there!

Ótima localização, super silencioso, pessoal do hotel muito atencioso... tranquilidade total... tudo de bom !!!. Fica melhor ainda se voce alugar um carro para circular pelos points da ilha... Vale muito a pena !!! Nota 10 !!!

ci siamo trovati benissimo.. stavamo nella "casita" n.2 immersa nel giardino. è un appartamento di circa 50/60 mq. con 2 letti matrimoniali comodissimi, il bagno della grandezza giusta ma con doccia enorme ed il dispenser con shampoo, docciaschiuma e crema corpo (!!) poi c'era un salottino con TV e lettore DVD che però non abbiamo usato mai e cucina […] a vista completa di piatti bicchieri pentole, fornelli, forno a microonde, sapone x i piatti, spugna, scottex. ed infine uno spazio/disimpegno fra il bagno ed il resto della casa con gli armadi, la cassaforte e una piccola toilette con specchio. Ti danno anche 4 teli mare e 2 seggioline da portare in spiaggia. Qualcosa andrebbe rifinito un pò meglio, tipo la porta del bagno un pò rovinata sotto ed il frigo un pò vecchiotto ma che alla fine fa il suo lavoro. Vengono a pulire e rifare i letti tutti i giorni tranne la domenica. Esternamente ci sono un patio con sedie e tavolo x mangiare fuori, amaca e barbecue. Si sta tranquillissimi, vengono da te solo le lucertole e i 2 micetti che abitano lì.. (adorabili) Abbiamo veramente amato questo posto e anche l'isola (splendido snorkeling!) e ci torneremo di sicuro. Lees meer
