Suites Gaby in Cancún

Dit hotel heeft een prima ligging in het centrum van Cancun. Het is eenvoudig maar zeer schoon met een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame staff die er alles aan doen om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het is dicht bij het ADO busstation en er zijn veel restaurants in de buurt. Tevens is de Walmart (handig voor de laatste aankopen een snel […] ontbijt/diner als je geen zin in een restaurant hebt) op loop afstand (15 minuten). Voor het ontbijt hoef je het hotel niet uit want dat is prima geregeld (wel moet daar apart voor betaald worden). WIFI is er ook maar alleen in de lobby hadden wij ontvangst. Very nice three days. Receptionist, Diane, spoke perfect English. Food in the restaurant in the AM was very good and reasonably priced. Room was quiet and clean. Maid service daily was exceptional. WiFi & A/C great

This room was far nicer than we expected. The bed and pillows very very comfortable, sheets were nice. Bathroom and shower were beautiful. Free WiFi was a plus! Lots of steps. You do have to ask for hangers and a blow dryer. Great for the price. Cab to the airport was about $25.

No microwave,fridge,coffee machine,hair dryer,bath tub & locker not working. Receptionists:one in the mng shift doesn't speak or understand English he uses google translate to communicate,eve shift girl speaks little bit but very rude; she has "NO" for everything even without understanding what was requested. Third one of night shift (23:00-7:00) speaks […] v good English and is very helpful. Manager is not supportive too. Everybody including manager but except one at night kept on lying that they don't have access to kitchen of the restaurant to heat the bottle of milk for baby.My baby kept on crying for 2 days after 3 pm till 7 am but they didn't care at all but lied again and again but they use microwave to heat their eatables. Room service doesn't clean the room if you are inside. Receptionist after 3 pm said you must go out if you want your room to be cleaned. I asked why. She replied, "I don't know but you must go out".AN EXTREMELY RUDE LADY. Locker is out of order. They even didn't say it is not working. Toilet is often dirty but room service doesn't like to come immediately to clean. Wash basin is round that spills water on the floor. Suites Gaby is a great hotel, especially for the price. The room was much nicer than I expected. It's very simple, but very clean, modern, and nice. The bathroom was in great shape and the shower was lovely with a very soothing shower head. The staff and the manager were very friendly. the room was spacious and clean. internet connection was spotty and had to be in the lobby to ensure a good connection. Also there was an issue with noise as you could hear noise coming out of the lobby throughout the night.

This place has the best value. Rooms were spotless and well kept. The only draw back is the neighborhood. Would not go out at night unless in a group or with a man. There on business, have stayed there in the past. Rooms are a bit small but very clean and loved the wifi access in the room. Free parking was also a plus. Great restaurant down the street, 100% Natural and easy access to mercado 28. Would stay there again.

The room are not sooooo big but good enough ! Clean.Cozy and nice people working at. Just 3 block from the main bus stop that take you to the airport or other places in Mexico ...and i like that !

Suites Gaby is a no frills hotel, but clean and in room a/c. Our room had a window looking out into the hall - a bit strange. The front desk was very helpful, the location is great for getting to the local and the turista markets. Not too far from wal-mart for cheap Kahlua!

I completed my third visit to Suites Gaby in Cancun in January 2013. As before the my hotel room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. This isn't a luxury hotel and tends toward the economy spectrum so the contents were nice but not opulent. The telephone, plumbing, television, internet connection, and A/C all worked as expected. I didn't need much […] in the way of service from the staff but they were capable, pleasant, and efficient when I did require their services. The hotel itself seems if fairly good repair and clean. The location is near Market 28 so it's close to plenty of dining locations. If you stay at this hotel make time to visit La Parrilla Restaurant about two blocks away, it's a quick walk. La Parrilla has mariachi musicians nightly and the food is good. Each time I've been there the clientele has been from diverse locations. This last time I met Canadians, Russians, and Japanese. Overall I got what I expected from the hotel. Remember, this is an economy hotel. My per-night cost was $45 plus taxes during the high season. I plan to stay there again when I go to Cancun. This is a NO FRILLS hotel. That being said, Suites Gaby is a very clean, basic, no nonsense hotel. You get two beds, nightstand, TV and towels. That's it. No soach, shampoo, wash cloth. Although this hotel locates in downtown, which means there's no good view outside the window, I was quite satisfied with its condition. It's very clean. Room was very clean. They decorated toilet nicely. Right next to Mercado 28. The only thing is that the AC never cooled off. It cost $200 pesos to get a taxi to get to the airport, which was great. 25min to the airport. Very reasonable price. Would definately stay here again. Wireless available only in the lobby

We stayed I cancun for 8 days. For one week we stayed at OMNI hotel . And one day at gaby. Vet nice location and you really feel that you are in Mexico. Would have wanted to stay longer there as there were many restaurants around to try. The room The only thing is that they did not have Internet and also receptionist does not speak english.

the hotel was nice for the price, the bug spray guy was little offputting but better that than bugs. room was clean and comfy. We felt a little too far away from things but buses seem to run quite late.

Fantastically priced hotel if you're a traveller on a budget or just passing through Cancun. I wouldn't recommend for a full holiday, but definitely ticks all the boxes for a short stay. And can't beat free wifi in the room!

So many wonderful things to say but I simply don't have time. In brief, highlights were: daytime customer service, convenient "downtown" location, and room cleanliness. Lows: Hotel walls seemed a bit thin permitting me to hear my neighbor's loud tv. Also you can skip the adjacent restaurant for cheaper, better quality food in surrounding community.

Clean, safe, pleasant, and inexpensive. Not for those who find climbing stairs challenging as there are no elivators. Hallways have no AC, but the room AC is fine. Local downtown Cancun, so no beach or international bars/restaurants on the doorstep. 10-15 min. walk to the bus station, where ýou can take the R1 bus (destination "Hoteles") to go to the island with all the shopping malls and tourist bars and restaurants, if you prefer them to local, genuine Mexican places. This means a risk of some noise from reception and from other guest using the stairs. The hotel is not very close to Downtown or kukulcan Blvd, but easy to move to every part with the bus who are not expensive, it's a cheap hotel so don't expect anything special but it was clean and that the most important for me.
