The Days Inn Rivergate Convention Center offers most of the facilities one needs at a fair quality level for a fair price. It is very well situated, not far away from the center of Chattanooga and near a stop of the city's free electrical shuttle service. The personel in the hotel is very friendly and ready to support you. The only disadvantage I noted is that the hotel does not have a breakfast room and does not offer a breakfast service. It was possible to buy a breakfast in the restaurant next door, but I did not consider that as an adequate solution. When I asked why the hotel did not offer a breakfast facility, the answer was: "We want to keep our prices as low as possible." Obviously the hotel forgets that one has to buy a breakfast at another location and to pay for it anyway.

THE HOTEL WAS LOCATED UP ON A HILL, WHEN WE FIRST SAW IT -IT WAS LIKE A CASTLE UP IN THE SKY... PRETTY NEW, EITHER JUST BUILT OR VERY RECENTLY RENOVATED. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, BIG AND HAD ALL THE NECESSITIES. THE POOL WAS NICE NOT TOOO BIG. THE STAFF WAS DEFINATLEY ON THEIR "A GAME" WE STAYED 2 DAYS AND THE BEST PART, THE BEILGIN WAFFLES. The hotel is very clean and up to date, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is comprehensive and the location is great in terms of the view of Lookout Mountain and being just a few minutes from Chattanooga. This hotel met our needs for our family trip to Chattanooga. The room was a little small for 2 adults and 2 kids but we didn't spend much time in it. The hotel is very close to Ruby Falls and it only takes about 10 minutes to get to the Aquarium. The continental breakfast was great and the staff replinished until breakfast time was over.
