Vanuit het hotel kun je makkelijk bij de metro komen. Het hotel was schoon en de airco werkt prima. Een super plek om verder rome te gaan verkennen.

Prima hotel! Uitstraling aan buitenkant (geen logo oid) en receptiebalie binnen (verveloos) geeft te denken. Echter: ontvangst en strakke, moderne, schone kamers maken alles goed. Ontbijt prima verzorgd. Metro op nog geen 100 meter afstand, goede uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan rome

Hotel is goed bereikbaar vanaf het vliegveld en ligt vlak bij het metro station. Prijs/hotel verhouding prima.

Wij zijn erg positief verrast door dit hotel. Netjes, goed engels sprekende receptie. Een extra vroegf ontbijt vanwege ons bezoek aan de vaticaansde musea was geen enkel probleem. Lekker dicht bij een metrostation en het allerbelangrijkste: goede bedden om lekker in uit te kunnen rusten na een heel dag stappen in Rome.

Alles was conform verwachting in hotel Re di roma. Zeker aan te bevelen, wel iets verder uit het centrum, maar de metro is vlakbij. Personeel is erg aardig en spreek engels.

Bij aankomst zondagavond laat werden we direct zeer correct en hartelijk welkom geheten. Ons naam was direct zichtbaar op hun reserverings- lijst en werden we netjes naar de lift geleid. Ons kamer vonden wij zeer netjes en lux voor 3 sterren. Zeer stijlvol en strak ingericht en bovendien, een goed werkende airco. Bedden waren uitstekend wat uiteraard […] zorgt voor een goede nachtrust. Het ontbijt echter had iets beter gekund, ook al werden we verrast met de geur van vers brood. Ook de locatie is erg goed. Dichtbij de de metro halte "Re di Roma" neem de metro uitgang "Via Vercelli" Iets meer dan 100 meter verder vind je het hotel aan de linker kant. Gratis internet en medewerkers die, waar nodig, zelfs een restaurant voor je bellen, en reserveren, als je ergens wilt gaan eten. Super hotel wat zeker het aanbevelen waard is en zeker meer dan 3 sterren in mijn optiek mag krijgen. Lees meer

We hebben onlangs 8 dagen in hotel Re di Roma gelogeerd tijdens onze ontdekkingsreis door Rome. Het hotel ligt op een 200 meter afstand van een metrostation waarmee alle bezienswaardigheden goed te bereiken zijn. Maar ook lopend is het zeer goed te doen. Het Colosseum ligt op een 20 minuten loopafstand. Ronduit ideaal. De service in het hotel is verder […] meer dan uitstekend te noemen. Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel, die je helpen met alle vragen die je hebt. Kamers zijn netjes, schoon en simpel en hebben ook nog eens een balkon! Het ontbijt is vrij simpel, maar wel effectief en ruim voldoende. We zouden dit hotel zeker aanraden, zeker gezien de prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The hotel building is six years-old and shows signs of wear in the public areas(scuffed paint, e.g). Has a small cocktail bar and nice lounge area. The hotel is one block from the Re di Roma metro stop and thus within […] 15 minutes travel time to the Spanish Steps and 20 minutes to the Vatican/Ottaviano metro stop. The area around the hotel is residential with shops, bars, restaurants, etc for the local population thus prices are more reasonable and the food and service better than in tourist Rome. Within three blocks of the hotel, try Bar Pompei for excellent pastries and desserts and Baldus Hostaria for excellent, fresh seafood dishes and great service. Lees meer

We loved Re di Roma. They recommended Baldus restaurant and we ate diner there twice. Hotel was a block away from Metro. My only complaint was hair dryer. I tried to use theirs and it quit after about 30 seconds and would not work again . Then I tried mine with our converter plugs and basically burned it up. Oh we'll. breakfast was fine, service fine […] and the room was great. NO English TV though. For all we knew, Kim Jung Un had bombed us somewhere. Overall , for the money and location we would highly recommend Re di Roma. Lees meer

This hotel is perfectly situated close to the regional train from the airport as well as a metro station, which is its biggest plus. Not necessarily the friendliest staff at reception when you want ideas of where to eat and what to do, but maybe age and language barriers played a role. Good value for money.

This hotel was exactly as the reviews state. Great place, very clean, updated. It's not in the tourist areas, which is good and bad. Good because its a quiet neighborhood, just down the street from a great neighborhood park where we had several lunches and shared it with the locals and kids playing, very close and a short walk to metro. Bad because […] you do have to take metro and bus to places, but short rides (10-15 minutes). Metro at times is very crowded, so when in Rome do as the Romans and push yourself on! This hotel is a great value for very expensive Rome...this place totally out shines the dumpy "three star" places next to the train station. The hotel does offer a pick up service from either airport...well worth the relatively small price difference in convenience versus taking train from airport to train station and then metro to hotel. Everything was great in relations to service, cleanliness and facilities in the hotel. Location is the only down side, yet we chose it stay away from noise and crowd in central Rome.

We were pleased with service provided. The rooms very clean and comfortable. The location was close to the Metro and city bus stops but out of the busy traffic areas. The breakfast that was provided was good with a decent variety of items.

Great room and bed which is important, harder being a tourist if you've had a bad night of sleep. Easy to get around: a little out of the normal tourist district, but not too hard to get to and from. The room air-conditioning wasn't working which could be a problem in winter, but no real problem for winter.

Reception staff mostly very welcoming, one less so, but eventually managed a smile. Room: comfortable bed, but the room itself was too warm to sleep well (December). Tried to remedy this with the fan, but it made little difference. Didn't eat breakfast there.

My new favorite hotel in Rome: the Re di Roma. Have stayed a dozen times in other moderately-priced Rome hotels, and cannot think of any that was a better value for the comfort provided. No negatives whatsoever, only "COMPLIMENTI!"

this hotel is close to all the metro and a train that will take you right to the airport. The room was clean. I had requested a double bed but got two twins pushed together and that was very uncomfortable. The staff was not particularly friendly or helpful though competent. Breakfast was terrible and if you came near the end of the breakfast hour, you […] wouldn't find much food left. It was certainly fine, but I think you can find a better place for the price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Hotel Re Di Roma and will use them again should we visit Rome again. I will also recommend this hotel to friends and family. Close to all transport, restaurants and lovely shopping in the piazza.

Hotel was convenient to metro red line which made for easy access to city. Friendly, helpful staff and clean, neat room made for nice stay. Hotel was able to provide me with shuttle to Fiumicino airport for 45 euro. I arrived around noon and room was already available. Hotel stay included nice breakfast buffet.

It is close to the Metro and convenient go to the main train station (4 stops) and thus easy for visit all the most important attractions in Roma. The room is smaller compared with the picture. In general, the accommodation is good, making our five-day travel nice and comfort.

Best room that we had on our Italy trip-- clean, had a bathtub, spacious, quiet. Cool new remodel on the room. The worst thing about this hotel is the location-- unless you have a reason to be in the Re di Roma neighborhood, it's not a good location in Rome (for tourists).

Easy to find, literally a minute from Re Di Roma metro, not much to see from outside hotel, but inside is a nice, clean, well maintained boutique hotel, with friendly staff, who will recommend local places and arrange trips and speak excellent english..We found ourselves in a really lovely room with excellent bathroom and facilities.. and a good breakfast […] buffet... The walls were a little thin but inisde noise was minimal, the surrounding area of rome we found to be ok for wandering day and night and quite suburban and safe. Hotel was very nice but a little too far outside the city center. Although close to a metro station, we found having to navigate back to the metro after a long day very tiring. Hotel breakfast was lack luster. Room was very clean. Hotel staff was helpful and very friendly.

Lower cost due to not being in centre of city, but metro (200m away) meant only 10 mins away from centre, or some of main attractions 'walkable' in 30 mins or so. Large, comfortable and well furnished room. Room with large balcony/terrace offered when we mentioned it was our anniversary. ALL staff extremely helpful, friendly, polite and efficient.

My gf and I stayed at Re di Roma for 6 nights. It was a little hard to find as it has minimal signage outside. We were quite pleased as our room was clean and spacious and the staff was extremely helpful. The price was also quite reasonable. We would stay there again in a heartbeat and strongly recommend this hotel.

Room was clean but bed was a little tight for tall guys. Staff was helpful when required. Breakfast was correct. The hotel was right outside of the main touristic areas. However, with the metro station right next to it, it was quite convenient to reach all must-see locations.

After spending 8 nights all over Italy, my wife and I rank this as the #1 hotel. We arrived, travel-weary after flying from the US. The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room offered a great place to rest a little bit before doing some sight seeing. Bonus points to this hotel for the following: Large room with a large bathroom and a full-size bathtub and nice fixtures, A nice television for unwinding after a long day on the town, comfortable beds with multiple pillows. Great rooms, great staff, all around best stay in Europe to date. These folks went out of their way to be helpful , friendly, and efficient. Never heard no or cannot in a 9 day stay. Will not consider anyplace else for any reason when on Rome. Miss this place at your peril!

So far so good. Great place, great staff, great location, great price. We are still at the hotel and have 4 more days to go. It would be nice to have Hotels.com send the survey AFTER we leave. Just can't wait I suppose. Anyway, great hotel in Rome. I would highly recommend.

Really nice reception with a great little breakfast. The price was fair and the room was clean we had a really good stay. The metro is pretty close and can take you downtown. There's also a big grocerie store just a few blocks away near the metro. This is a good hotel and we would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Re De Roma - the room was very spacious and the decor was really modern and comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from and not too many people in the breakfast room at once. The only thing i would comment on is the area the hotel is in, there are no restaurants close and you will need to get the metro closer into Rome. […] However the metro is literally at the end of the street. Dont be put off by the surrounding buildings/ area as inside the hotel is lovely. Would definitely stay again. Lees meer
