Klein hotel, prima locatie ( 5 minuten ten westen van Times Square), redelijk ontbijt, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Schone kamer, kleine badkamer. Enige minpuntje, te weinig kastruimte. Gezien prijs, locatie en bovenstaande zaken, een prima hotel.

Centraal gelegen hotel. Binnen no time ben je bij alle toeristische hoogtepunten van NY. Goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. De kamers zijn niet groot. Voor ons was dat geen probleem omdat je toch de hele dag buiten bent.

Dit is een keurig hotel (zeker voor New Yorkse begrippen), de service is prima en het ontbijt natuurlijk Amerikaans, m.a.w. niet volgens Nederlandse gezondheidsbegrippen. De kamer is netjes, de badkamer duidelijk vernieuwd. De ligging is perfect, twee blokken verwijderd van Times Square en midden tussen de theaters (musicals wel tijdig reserveren)! […] In vergelijking met hotels die we eerder in NY boekten voor dezelfde prijs, stijgt dit hotel duidelijk uit boven de andere. Ga gerust naar dit 2 sterren hotel, het had wel 4 sterren mogen hebben. Ik zit in veel hotels, maar dit hotel viel enorm mee ondanks de 2 sterren!

Had recenties gelezen dus wist wat ging komen. Bezoek vond plaats week voor kerst 2010. Bedden goed maar kort. Ontbijt goed maar te weinig zitplaatsen. Hulp uitstekend als je jezelf verstaanbaar kunt maken bij de pakistaanse crew. Geen pretenties maar zeer tevreden over de relaxte sfeer en de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding voor New York. Recent gerenoveerd, […] onderhoud niet optimaal maar voldoende. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed, de ligging is uitstekend en ook de verbindingen vanaf Times Square zijn prima(alle metrolijnen). Comfort Inn is op loopafstand van de eerste busstop in Manhattan vanaf Newark(25min). Personeel is beleefd maar zou wat meer belangstelling kunnen tonen. Voorkant wat lawaaiig(vrachtwagens laden/lossen- vorkheftrucks) […] dus oordoppen mee. Ontbijt is lekker/ gezellig(contact met mede-reizigers) maar kent weinig variatie. Het hotel oogt in de eerste instantie (bij aankomst/buitenkant) pover en oud. De entrée belooft niet heel veel maar de de kamers zijn, hoewel ze klein zijn, comfortabel en heel schoon. Badkamer dito.Het bed is heerlijk, de airco werkt en er is een koelkastje en een bureau. Verder gratis internet en telefoon(lokale gesprekken). Het hotel (inclusief ontbijt) is van alle gemakken voorzien, tevens koud water en thee ten alle tijd ter beschikking en gratis wifi. Kamers zijn netjes en comfortabel, elke dag keurig opgeruimd en weer voorzien van schoon bedlinnen etc.. Times Square is op loopafstand en de subway slechts een honderd meter verwijderd. The hotel was very nice. My husband and I were there for 3 nights and it was very comfortable, a bit small though. The breakfast was adequate and we were within walking distance from 42nd street, and that was exactly what we wanted. I would definitely stay there again.

We were able to walk easily to all the "must see" attractions. We actually ran into multiple famous actors and artists due to the area. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The rooms are definitely small, there was no bureau or place to put clothes. We were with our three teenage children and got two rooms each with double beds. No adjoining […] rooms but they were next door to each other and I felt safe with the kids in the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was a bonus that happily saved us some money each day. I would recommend this hotel as a less expensive option very close to all theaters and Times Square. Lees meer

the hotel was perfect for us. A very quiet room with an exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower! We definitely will stay there again when we're in the city.

Great small hotel ideally located in the theater district! Just a block or two walk from theaters, and lots of terrific restaurants in the neighborhood. Close to Times Square, and within walking distance of department stores (Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Macy's). Discounted parking in lot right across the street. The hotel was wonderful. The location was fantastic, only an 8 minute walk to Times Square and the theatre district. The hotel room was very clean, a little snug because we had 2 beds, but the bedding was new and very, very, comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would have given this hotel a 5 except that our tub took forever to drain. We asked them to fix it but it was still the same. I would stay here again. The staff were nice!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel. While the room was small compared to the typical southwest area Comfort Inns, the location and price can't be beat. The breakfast was great and the staff recommendations for food and travel were very helpful. We will stay here again and tell all our friends.

Found this hotel which appeared to be reasonably close to the theater district. Then purchased tickets online for the shows we wanted to see. It turned out that we were only two blocks down the street from one of the theaters and a block over and another block down from the second venue. The hotel was also within close proximity to the Port Authority […] where the express bus from La Guardia Airport dropped us off. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well. A reasonable alternative to the fancy-schmansy (and expensive) hotels around Times Square. Lees meer

We were happy with our stay until the last day, when we saw the cleaning team with the brand new sheets and towels in the floor of the lobby before changing the beds. These are moved in black bags (like trash). However the reception staff is always ready to help you and the location of the hotel is great, two blocks away from times square.

We were in the City to catch a show and thought it would be convenient to stay here! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast seemed amazing! It was very crowded and it felt like they were trying to fit too many people in a small space! Of course the rooms were small but that's typical New York! It was a pretty good stay!

This is a fantastic location if you are interested in being in the Times Square area. It was close enough but not right there so it was quieter at night. Tons of great restaurants right around the corner made it a great choice as well. The hotel is not large but the rooms are big enough for anyone who is just at the hotel for sleeping purposes. Room was ready to check -in 3 hours early...staff was very friendly...breakfast was better than expected... very convenient to everything, especially Times Square...they held our luggage on our last day for us until we were ready to leave the city...very clean... room was tiny, but we expected that..It's the city! We had a wonderful time - went to several restaurants around the corner from the hotel for cocktails, appetizers and ultimately dinner - good location - lots of places to go and close to major attractions!

The hotel was easy to get to, clean and quite. Valet parking directly across street from hotel ($30.00 per day). The breakfast was well stocked and wide selection for a continental breakfast. Overall very impressed based on price of accommodations.

My two sisters and I stayed for a 3-night getaway in mid-march 2013. Obviously we wanted a safe, affordable hotel that was close to everything. We couldn't have left more satisfied with our decision to stay here. The size of the room was typical for the City, quite tight, but when all you need is a place to sleep and shower, it's perfect! There was […] a refrigerator in the room, too, which was nice. We also really appreciated - and took advantage of - the coffee and tea that was available in the lounge all day long. The staff was very friendly and a major plus was that we were able to leave our baggage with the concierge after check-out as we had about 5 hours to spare before our train ride back upstate. Aside from a noisy a/c (but, hey, it happens!), we had no complaints and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Lees meer

The hotel was in a great location. Times square was about 5 mins away. The room was very small, but I guess that's the norm for the price/area and everything was really clean. Only negative thing was a weird smell when you entered the room - not sure if it was because we were near the elevator...

Staff nice. Small hotel but busy. They let us check in a couple hours early which was helpful. And we left our bags at the front desk for a couple hours after we checked out. Also helpful. Nice to have breakfast included but once a huge European student tour group came down to eat, there was no place to sit & we had to "sharpen our elbows" to get close […] to the food. Avoid the scrambled eggs. The rooms have the basics only. We had a double bed. There is a closet with two drawers. No safe. I was a bit nervous about leaving my ipad & camera in the room. It was a quiet room even though we were next to the elevator. The loudest sound was the radiator powering up. It was pretty cold in NYC during our stay, so it powered up a lot. Our neighbors enjoyed smoking marijuana our first morning. The rooms are close & the hallway small, so my 12 year old and I had a chat about drug use. From the time we turned up to the time we finally reclaimed our luggage, the staff could not do enough for us. We were very impressed by the proximity to Times Square and Broadway. Room was good, staff were excellent.

This is the best one I have ever stayed in NYC, as for this price. The stuff was very helpful. Complimentary breakfast was really nice. They have free coffe all day long. I will choose this hotel again next time in NYC.

Close to Times Square and many eateries. The room however was small but much better than the Milford Plaza which we have stayed at a few times. It was nice to have a parking garage across the street and the cost was $30 for 24 hours which was much cheaper than the rate of $55.00 that the Belvedeere in N.Y. charges with no in or out privilege.
