Customer service very bad attitude & not friendly

Clean and tidy hotel but don't stay here if you're claustrophbic as the rooms and bathroom are very very small.

This hotel is well located, just above a subway station and a stone's throw from some of the best Kowloon markets. The staff is competent and someone at the desk spoke English well enough to take care of any issue. The room is very small; however it had everything I needed just about within arms reach. The wifi was fast and Hong Kong, unlike China, […] does not ban Facebook. The bathroom was also tiny and there is no shower stall. I just closed the toilet, made sure the toilet paper was covered and closed the door to take a shower. It's not my favorite way to take a shower, but such showers are not uncommon in many parts of the world. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. I recommend it to people who can deal with a Hong Kong size room comfortably. Lees meer

Perfect location...less than 1 min to MTR~!Esp good after a long day with trolley~! Casa Hotel is very conveniently located within 2mins walk from exit C of YauMaTei MTR station. Very good service provided by frontdesk at level 2 and there are also 7 Eleven + Circle K just below the hotel. Eateries nearby which open till late night. However, there are somethings to note if you want to book this hotel: 1. There is no lock for the […] bathroom. (Non-transparent glass covers it and you will see only shadow of the user in the bathroom) 2. Bathroom size is about 1m by 2m for the most basic room and 1m by 3m for better rooms if you upgrade. (U have to take shower just beside the toilet bowl and basin for basic room) 3. Size of most basic room is just enough for 1 queen size bed, 1 large luggage and 1 person walkway. (Recommend to upgrade to mid-range rooms for more room space since it is not very expensive) 4. Walls are thin, sound from other rooms or corridor can be heard but not clearly. 5. Only 1 room access card is given and it is proprietary. (room electricity cannot be activated using any other cards) Will definitely stay there again for my next visit. Lees meer

The room was so small that we had to add money to change to another room. Yet, it was still not so satisfied. There was no proper shower cabinet or bath tub., no refrigerator ( there was a small little thing looked like a fridge but could only hold temperature at 20 C), no luggage rack, and had only one armchair for a room supposed to be (actually charged […] for) for three people. The closet (more like a clothing box) was so small that we could hardly hang our clothes. The safety deposit box could not be opened. The room I booked, though reasonably priced, was by far the smallest room I have ever stayed in anywhere. Example: sitting on the toilet seat in the bathroom my knees were touching the wall! If you're just looking for a place to sleep, this hotel is fine. it is nice hotel and convenient to MRT station just 3 mins from hotel,i have good memory travel in hong kong with my family.

The rooms are TINY! I barely had enough room to open my suitcase and I wasn't used to the combo bathroom/wetroom, however, I guess this is normal in Asia. Nonetheless, the room was clean, functional and the staff adequate. The location, however, was not that great. Now that I know HK better, I would rather stay in Central HK, Kowloon Bay, or Tsim Sha […] Tsui. While the hotel was modern, the buildings around it were old, grungy and dirty. There wasn't anything worthwhile to visit around the hotel and so, I ended up spending my time at other areas of HK. Perhaps, the hotel's saving grace is that it was located 2 steps away from the Yau Matei subway stop. I would recommend this place based on price and proximity to a subway stop but if you're seeking nightlife outside your doorstep, you might consider staying in a hotel around Tsim Sha Tsui, Central HK, or Kowloon Bay. The hotel is 30 seconds away on foot from the Yau Ma Tei MTR subway station and very close to Temple street markets and not too far (20 minute walk) to Mong Kok. Location is a plus. Taxis can stop right in front of the hotel. In fact when we left, we hailed a taxi within 30 seconds right in front of the hotel. The staff is average. One woman I spoke […] to in Cantonese gave me fair service but was very curt and to the point so I wasn't sure if she was being rude or having a bad day. When we spoke in English to the staff, the service improved. A worker says that the hotel is 2 years old. The pictures of the hotel on the website seemed decent. When we got there, we realized that the new owners probably took over an old hotel and remodeled the lobby and street level and did very minor (painting) remodeling of the other floors and rooms (at least for the 14th floor). Our room was extremely small (and we have been in many hotels in HK and some in Japan so even this room is the smallest we've been in). The carpets looked old. Bed was okay although it had hair on the pillow case. The walls were nasty--they had old splatters of some liquid on it that was never cleaned up. The bathroom was extrmemly small and old style. The shower was the bathroom itself so you close the door and shower in front of the sink. Water gets everywhere but not in the room since it is sealed properly. Anyone larger than an average size adult will not be able to use the toilet or use the shower in this bathroom. Laundry serveice is about two blocks away near the MTR exit. Good price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a super convenient hotel location in Yau Ma Tei Kowloon HK if it is a super low price. The pictures are deceiving. I would rate this as a 2 star hotel and not a 3 star hotel. I would most likely not stay here again but instead stay at the Metropark Mong Kok which is also an old hotel but it was a lot larger and cleaner looking. Lees meer

The room is clean but after changing 3rooms there is still disturbing noise throughout the nights. The non-smoking floor was occuied by smoker and the smell lingers.

In all my life I never stayed in a closet that has shower and toilet in the same spot.

Generally it is a small room hotel meant for people with intention to shop and eat in HK only and do not mind the sleeping comfort.

This is a great hotel for business travelers or people who need a comfortable place to stay with the bare minimum. The rooms are VERY small, especially the bathroom - quite a sight- toilet, shower and sink all in one! Free Wifi is nice!

MTR station only a few metres away. great location bathroom very small but you get use to it.

Hotel is in an excellent location and very convenient for travel on the MTR. I booked a single room and it is quite small; it's adequate for a single traveller. The room t was kept clean and items such as slippers were provided. Having the free Wifi helps with finding out about places to go and emails. Excellent value.

Location is great. The room is smell as I expected. Just didn't expect the sink is half way on top of the toilet. So you need to seat on toilet angled. After shower, the entire bathroom is wet. Worst of all, the room smells like sewage.

The Casa Hotel is in a great location, right next to the Yau Ma Tei metro station. It is also within easy walk of busy Nathan Rd shopping areas as well as the Temple St Market. Hotel is ideally located for vacation purposes. only real downside was extremely small room and bathroom. Breakfast in cafe convenient and well priced.

Relatively clean Very art deco Tiniest hotel room I ever saw, with roll-away bed in room the door hit the bed. Neighborhood ok, ½ block from the metro, across the street from the bus stop from the airport and 1 block from the night market.

if you are looking for a most convinient and budget hotel then this is your hotel, 2 mins away from station,clean and tidy,bathroom modern but very small,

I found the location the best part of this hotel. It was central to the upper scale part of the city, but not in the midst of the really cheap backpacker area. Everything is walkable or taxi friendly. Good food on the same block with a local market one block parallel. Room was good, bathroom needs a bit of work. Overall a pleasant stay. Avoid the prices […] of the tours at this hotel, they are about 12X more expensive than anywhere else. Recommend to go into the backpackers central area for price competition. Door staff here were amazing, and internet was a in room (plug in). Front desk allowed me to print my boarding pass for free. Got a driver a few times for a bike to the backpackers for 20B. Easy! Location is extremely good after you do a lot of shopping and your legs can only bring to work a short distance to hotel (1min to Yau Ma Tei MTR). Cleaner auntie tidy up and clean the rooms well. Never tried the lunch at hotel because it doesn't seem attractive. Not very satisfied with the room size and ready-condition such as small room, pipe dripping […] sounds. Seems a bit scary if you are alone. If you just want to stay a budget room just for a sleep, it will be your choice as location is good. The bathroom was extremely small, but that's expected of Hong Kong. Fresh towels felt damp, didn't really like it. Location was much better than expected - literally stone's throw from MTR. Free wi-fi in the hotel room was stable. Lingering smoke smell, probably some misbehaving hotel guests.

Clean, pleasant and fuss-free room. Staff are attentive and helpful. Only downer is the tiny bathroom but it's expected of hotels of this price range. But the location is exceptional. Stay was December 7-12 2010 This was my first time to Hong Kong so I just booked The Casa Hotel on a whim. I lucked out. This Casa is located right on Nathan Road in the heart of Kowloon. To get to the Casa Hotel take the Red or Green line subway (metro) and get off at Yau Ma Tei exit and follow the signs for the exit that says Casa Hotel. Then its […] about a 1 minute walk. Next to a 7-11 store. Reception is on the 2nd floor. I was able to check in at 930AM since my room was ready instead of the 2pm check-in time. Which is nice after a 17hr flight. My room was very small but I was single traveler, so this was not an issue. If you have lots of luggage or more people it could be. But this is Hong Kong so you will always find small rooms. I had a single bed that was very hard on my bad back. This was my biggest issue with the hotel. Also the bathroom was very cramped with the shower head/handle above the toilet so when you shower you just stand in front of the toilet and let water get everywhere. I have traveled all over the world and its like this sometimes. But it works. I also had a 20 inch flat screen HDTV in my room that got a mix of Chinese and English channels that was nice. Also you have to stick your key card in the light switch insert to make the lights, AC and TV work so you don't leave them on. The staff was nice. My room was in the back so not loud. In the morning it was though since the maid stored all her equipment next to my room on the 3rd floor. The Casa also has very fast wi-fi internet that is free for all guest. I used video Skype no problem on my laptop and iphone. Bottom line when I go back to Hong Kong since I loved it. I will stay at the Casa for sure. Room very small. The bathroom totally sucks... everything gets wet...smells musty, hardly any room to turn around. Very, very noisy...have never been in a hotel room with such thin, thin walls. Only thing good is location.

Standard room was terribly small and cramp. Toilet+shower space is less than 1 arm's length! The smallest I've ever seen. We do not even have any space to place our luggage, luckily we travel light so one piece of luggage was tugged into the tiny wardrobe and the other one gotta put at the main entrance, behind the door. Location wise is ideal, MTR […] station is right next to the hotel and a lot of eateries around. Temple street night market within a stone's throw distant. Front desk service is pretty cold. All in all, not a memorable stay and I certainly will not reccommend to my friends. Lees meer

You get what you pay for, which is a room where the bed barely fits. But it is fairly clean and cheap for Hong Kong standards. I would recommend.

Very friendly, professional and helpful staff - no complaints at all about personnel! Easily accessable by underground and bus (bus stop to airport in front of hotel) But the room and especially the bathroom was the smallest I ever had inmy life, including Japan (I´m spending around 3 months a year in hotels in Asia). There was no space to have a proper […] shower, one has to stand over the toilet to shower, almost no chance to turn around. There are a lot of much more comfortable hotels in HK at a similar price. Location of hotel was fantastic - being a Chinese who lived in HK before, I thought the surrounding areas were perfect, but for the foreigners, it could be too much for them in terms of noise, people, and traffic. I went with my brother, and we had the most awkward experience ever! The shower / toilet is "tiny", and is shared, so you shower over the toilet. But the real issue here is the water after you showered doesn't flow away, so if the other person wants to use the toilet, he/ she will need to soak their feet in the dirty water while doing the business. Great hotel for the price and in a very central place on the Nathan Road area. The hoel is very clean which in my eyes is quite good and the staff are very friendly..The hotel also has local tourist office in the lobby for all the tourist needs. Hotel was OK, the price was good, but we honestly would have paid more if we had known how it was going to go down. The first night, the toilet leaked all night and we didn't say anything because it was supposed to be normal, something about the water heater and the temperature etc. The second night, it got really ridiculous and we thought our room […] was going to flood. We talked to the receptionist and left for the day. When we came back, the toilet was fixed and it didn't leak at all, not even a single drop. Which is great, but also begs the question: why were we told it was normal and why wasn't it fixed after our first complaint? The rooms are uncomfortably small, but fortunately everything was clean. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone only because I don't think people know to expect what they're getting. We knew we were getting a good price but the hotel still didn't meet our bare minimum standards. Still, if you're down with "roughing it" a little bit you're going to be great. Lees meer

priced right for my budget. the room itself and the amenities match the price, but the location is great for the price. You are only blocks from all the markets in the heart of nathan rd. short cab ride down nathan to the more upscale part, or to star ferry. great local food is abundant around. 3-5 min walk to starbucks and burger king and McDonalds […] for those who are homesick. location was great. The room: I got a smoking room. It didn't smell like smoke, until i smoked in it. The windows do open, that bad part is the traffic noise can overwelm you. You'll get over it. there is a normal desk there. wireless was fast. there are wireless routers everywhere in the hall. i could only hear people if they were in the hall outside the door, but heard nothing through the walls. pretty quiet. A/C worked too well, we woke up cold. They was myself and another guy. two twin beds. One of the harder beds i've sleep on, but better than the couch. One catch. the bathroom is all in one. Meaning the sink and toilet are there. but in between them is the shower head coming out from the wall. There is a drain in the bathroom floor. Yes you could go #2, brush your teeth, and shower at the same time. Where else can you do cool stuff like that. Stayed three nights are is well worth the money. Lees meer
