Fragrance Hotel - Sunflower in Singapore

cancelled our stay because of prostitution activity in the hotel and neighbourhood.

You get what you pay for. friendly staff but a bad room. it wasnt clean and the bed was the worst I ever slept on. even the sheets were cheap. nothing within walking distance to the hotel either.

excellent value for the money when booked on Hotels.com. Dont pay rack rate though...that would be crazy.

The room was quite comfortable for 2 people, but I really disappointed with the cleanliess of the bathroom and there were cockroaches in the room.

The hotel price is cheaper, service well.

Since Singapour is like the most expensive place in the ASEAN Flagrance Hotel appears to be a good combination of cheap price (I mean cheap for singapour) and also a good location ( really close to the MRT line East-West and just 3-4 stations away from the city hall). Nevertheless there is no internet available in the hotel, it's kind of annoying I […] agree, however there are some places a few meters away like internet cafe which propose a good connection for some dollars. Enjoy your stay in Singapour! Singapour étant d'emblée très chère, on peut dire que cet hotel propose une bonne combinaison entre des prix abordables pour Singa et aussi un bon positionnement dans la ville ( environ 3-4 station de MRT du centre ville sur la ligne EST-WEST). En revanche il n'y a pas internet de disponible dans l'hotel mais possiblité d'en trouver pas très loin à quelques mètres dans des internet café pour quelques dollars. Profitez de Singapour! The hotel service was quite okay. But Bathroom's walls stains and floor need more cleaning. However , bed spreads and the room were quite clean. The wardrobe closet was so small (just enough for 2 hangers), especially for my 2 weeks or long stay.

concerning the price of this hotel, it is not bad choice if you want to have a "budget trip" at singapore =)

The room was disgusting. Looked like it had not had a good clean in years. The bathroom had large patches of mould on the walls - no shower curtain - water just ran all over floor. Only saving grace - the sheets were spotless.

over all is ok

nice, neat, very clean, peaceful & quiet location but not so near to the airport contrary to advertisement online, but good enough for budget travellers, however, there's no free wifi and no free breakfast . Shierly, the receptionist, was very accommodating.

Bad....Bad....Bad...

Just wanted to say that the main receptionist at the hotel was excellent. It is a small hotel, 10 minutes from the train station. Clean, friendly.

We choose this hotel because we wanted something cheap to start our backpacker trip in South East Asia Hotel is very very basic and actually seems to be used mainly by foreign workers (not business men) who are looking for a cheap place to stay or by people that need a room for prostitution purposes. Rooms are small.. A bed and toilet/shower combo […] and that's it... Hotel staff was barely polite (they seems to hate their jobs) Dont ask them for direction or help, they wont be much help and their English is actually quite bad, especially for Singapore But, if you are looking for a cheap room in a very alive neighbourhood (see Red Light District) it could be ok. Dont be scare though, its very safe. We felt very secure but you may see bunch on prostitute in a very cramped space if you walk on the main street but they wont bother you. Nobody will.. Hotel is at a Walkable distance from the MRT (Subway/train station) Lot of bus on the two main street near the hotel. A little far from downtown, but you can just take the MRT Overall, for the price i guess its ok but we wont go back there on our next backpacker trip to South East Asia. Avoid like the plague. Nothing good to say about this hotel. In the red light district and you can hire rooms for 2 hours. Hookers coming and going woke me up in the night. Dirtiest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

We were looking for a cheap hotel for a couple of nights after 2 months backpacking in Indonesia and chose this off the internet. We had no great expectations given it was 2 stars but it was excellent and within easy walking distance of an MRT Station. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. We took the time to compare prices of hotels and backpacker […] places in the area and the price we paid thru the internet was comparable with a room without a bathroom at a backpackers place. This was one of the last hotels available when I reluctantly booked it because I thought a hotel in this price range would be awful. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was compared to the lower expectation I had. The hotel was clean, the room was clean. The room was small and basic, but this is what I expected. The hotel was quiet. My only complaint […] was that even though the room was non-smoking and had a sign as such, it smelt like someone had smoked in it. The front desk said that a lot of people ignore the non-smoking sign. The other issue was that there was no internet in the room. There were 2 pay PCs in the lobby. I asked at the front desk and they told me the hotel was too small to install wireless internet. So I would up paying AT&T more to upgrade by wireless internet package to support the work I needed to do, than I did on the room for the 2 nights. Of course there are much nicer hotels in Singapore, but if you are on a budget or wind up with only 2 star hotel choices, this hotel was very livable. Lees meer

oli huone 206, joka oli kohtuullisen kokoinen, ei ihan koppi niinkuin kuvittelin. Ilmastointi toimi, suihkussa taas meni koko lattia märäksi aina. Bussilla pääsee helposti keskustaan, 150m pysäkki. Mrt on n. 400m päässä.

Ikke særlig smilende el. fucuserede receptionister, men alligevel velvillige til at hjælpe når de blev spurgt konkret. Værelset med doppeltseng var lidt kaustrofobisk, hvorimod dét med 2 enkeltsenge virkede mere rummeligt. Ingen udsigt, men dejlig rent og rummelige badeværelser. En god spadsertur til nærmeste metro/skinnebus, men et spændende kvarter […] med mange kinesiske spisesteder. Lees meer

More ants on the desk, on the floor & on your bed. The pillow & towel very dirty. And than the air conditioner was very noisy & not cooler . The motel have not refrigerator, so I can't to buy some drink in the room. The room 202 was very hot. So dont choice this motel. if you want to try, you only book one night. The bed had leather sheets and rented out rooms by the hour.. Not a good nighbourhood and you have to take 1 bus and 2 metro untill you was in the central singapore.
