We were very comfortable and pleased with our room at BW Eastgate.

We only spent one night, but it was very nice. The pool, the breakfast, the staff and the room were all exceptional. We had no problems checking in and got the standard room with king sized bed exactly as we had booked it.

We stayed here while visiting my grandfather in the Dole VA Medical Center. There were a lot of other hotels around but some where just to expensive or cheap in quality. This hotel is just a few minutes down the road from the VA Center and along the way you pass just about any thing you could ever need. So many different food choices and stores. Just […] turn down North Rock road and you have the mall, fast food, eat in restaurants, and wal mart. Though for some of the places like Walmart you will have to travel down the road some ways. I also absolutely must recommended an Italian restaurant we went to called Il Vicino. They have amazing pizza made in a wood burning oven, mango tea, a wide range of wine, if you have kids with you they will bring over a plate with a ball of pizza dough with a little bit of flour on it for the kids to play with like play dough. Their cannoli's are to die for. They have amazing service, and the price is not bad. It is in the corner of a very small shopping center on the corner of Oliver st. (which runs right past the VA Center) and Douglas St. Next time we go we will absolutely be staying at this hotel again and eating at Il Vicino's. Lees meer

Close to the Beechcraft and Cessna plants, on the eastern end of Kellogg, I was expecting yet another rehabbed 1970s motel like so many others in the immediate vicinity. This property is quite new, and is a breath of fresh air along this corridor. Building is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Note that if you're coming from the turnpike, it's easy to miss the turn onto the service road, even with signage. You can loop back around without too much difficulty, however. The motel was nice and clean. Swimming pool enjoyable. Rooms nice. Kinda hard to get into the motel with driving in from the west, roads confusing. Not much walking area outside. Customer service was nice even through errors on motel.com

Great room, good breakfast and wonderful staff. Kaylie at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Hot tub was HOT (as it should be) and the pool area was clean and sparkling.

Excellent staff that is more than willing to help in any way they can. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Room was clean and very well maintained. I'm returning to Wichita again this week and I will definetely stay at this facility.

Room was clean, pool and hot tub was great. Walls were thin and loud plumbing noises could be heard when other rooms showered, flush toilet, etc. Breakfast was bad, biscuits were not fully cooked and powdered eggs were bland.

We chose this hotel because of the ratings. It didn't dissapoint us. The hotel was immaculate as well as the room. We enjoyed the hot breakfast. The front staff was so nice. A pillow got left behind and they are sending it to us. As others have mentioned, getting to the hotel off of Kellogg drive is a bit tricky but that certainly isn't the fault of […] the hotel. This was our second stay at Best Western - Eastgate. Both stays were excellent. Close to great places to eat and shop. The hotel has a great breakfast and you couldn't find a cleaner place to stay.

It was a very clean nice hotel. I went with my wife and son. The pool was nice and the breakfast buffet was very good. The staff was very polite and rooms were very comfortable including a very comfortable mattress. We really enjoyed the hotel and if we came back to Wichita would stay in this hotel every time.

I was in Wichita on business and chose this hotel because it was close to my needed locations. I stayed 3 nights and was very impressed with this hotel. Check in was easy the room was very clean and well organized. The bathroom was very clean aside from the shower rod which wasn't a problem and the microwave and fridge were convenient. I also used the […] fitness room which was very nice. The pool wasn't too cold and the hot tub jets were decent. This is a very well run facility. Good amenities - including a business center where we could print airline boarding passes for free. Is a little away from the main business area but easy on and off freeway for us with a rental car to get to our conference. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Extremely convenient for access to the "Bob Dole V A Hospital". Recommend this to every Veteran's family who has to have access to the V A hospital. Front half of building faces highway (southern exposure), back half faces private homes. We preferred the front half for the sun & even the occasional traffic noise is better than looking into someone's […] private yard. pleasant, clean and well maintained. The pillows could be improved - 2 small square pillows per person. Would have prefered standard size ones. Breakfas was mediocre, tasteless eggs,. But is priced right for what they offer. I would reccommend for a night or two.

We took a 30 day bucket trip to visit a number of places we have never visited. Our last day on the road (before returning home) was an over night stop in Wichita. This was a great choice. The hotel is new and the rooms were spotlessly clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
