Tomorrow Square, Shanghai - Marriott Executive Apartments in Shanghai

A splendid hotel!! It simply brings everything you need while staying in this wonderful city. The apt. are located on the lower floors of the building. From the 38th (= hotel lobby) up you'll find the hotel facilties and hotelrooms. As said, the appartments are on the lower floors. The appartments lobby is located on ground floor behind the main entrance […] of the building. Just ask the friendly door men! We had a spacious apt on the 9th with nice view at Nanjing Road and the park. A nice living, good size bed, small but 'everything-you-need' bathroom and sort of walk-inn closet. We loved the JW Marriot apartments. We are a family of four. The 2 bedroom apartment with the two bathrooms was perfect. The staff were nice. The location was great, just across peoples park. We tried the restaurant for breakfast and it was also nice. This place is amazing. Definitely recommend it!

We took a 2 bed room apartment in March'13. The thing that we most appreciated about this place was it's amazing location. It is very close to people's square, Museum, banks, Bund, Yu garden. They have a Starbucks and a convenience store in the same compound. Most of the nice eating places are also nearby. Very good for a family with 3 kids. Excellent pools and breakfast buffet. Very convenient location to the city and excellent views. Van transfers from the airport an excellent option.

We are a European couple (28&38) and we were in Shanghai for 3 nights for the 7th time. We have tried 6 different hotels so far, where this one has been our favourite so far! Great location - near pleole quare, near Shopping street, next to famous copy market etc. Over all, good points are: (1) Very clean and great cleaners doing a fantastic job (2) […] Spacious room, very beautiful (3) Amazine facilities with gym, jacuzzi, pools, spa etc (4) location is great Bad points: (1) if you want to be near the river and have that view, well, you don't. We were very happy with our choice of hotel in Shanghai. Although a but pricier than other hotels we could have chosen we loved the space we had in our two bedroom apartment, the ability to cook some meals and do laundry at the end of the day!

Thank goodness for The Tomorrow's Square - Shanghai, Marroitt Executive Apartments. This was our safe haven, our gem in the midst of such madness that is Shanghai. This hotel/apartment offerred everything you could possibly want and more. Step outside the door of this hotel and all bets are off. Be prepared for madness - insane traffic, where traffic […] signals are a joke, ill-mannered people, that push, shove, take cuts in front of you in line, and worst of all, the disgusting practice of spitting any and everywhere. Yuk! I for one will not be returning to Shanghai, but if you must, by all means, the Marriott, Tomorrow Square, hotel or apartments is the best choice. Lees meer

For our one-week stay, my wife and I chose the Apartments rather than the Hotel. Our one-bedroom unit was fully equipped and gave us more breathing space than a regular hotel room. Service and responsiveness were excellent. The location is quite the finest in the city. Much of the city's rich legacy is in walking distance, and many other destinations, […] including the Bund, are about the minimum cab fare. A local food street is a five-minute walk away. We went often, and managed comfortably despite the language barrier. The Marriott's bar on the 40th floor has stunning night views of Puxi and Pudong skyscrapers. Remember to take your camera and tripod. The one jarring note was the high noise level when the breakfast buffet closed at 10.30 am. I wish they would have quieter carts, less clanging when collecting the metalware, and quieter conversation among the staff while eating at neighbouring tables. After all, I have paid for a pleasant ambience too. A bonus: the tower is the tallest building in central Shanghai, so its easy to locate - just look up and head for it. And its far more elegant than the ghastly pineapple topping of one hotel or the flying saucer of another, both unfortunately part of the night sky in this fascinating, fast-evolving city. I'd go back to the Marriott without second thoughts. And keep my i-pod handy at breakfast... Lees meer
