Dit hotel is een prima alternatief voor de duurdere hotels in Brugge en Gent. Mooie en schone kamers, heel vriendelijk personeel, goed eten en een heel goed ontbijtbuffet. Het enige nadeel is dat het gelegen is aan de snelweg en de doorgaande weg naar Oostkamp. Hierdoor hoor je toch veel geluid van de auto's. Met oordopjes in is dit echter goed op te […] lossen. Moest voor een vakbeurs een aantal nachten in deze regio zijn en was laat met boeken. Al met al aangenaam verrast door dit(redelijk recent geopende) hotel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel, en zeer nette, ruime kamer. En een prima restaurant.

hotel ligt wat afgelegen. een wandeling na het eten is niet mogelijk. maar doet niet ten onder aan de service. we zijn zeer tevreden

Zeer geschikt hotel voor zakelijk gebruik. Direct aan de snelweg (dus ramen dicht houden voor 't geluid), zeer ruime en comfortabele kamer met snel internet en heerlijk bed. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, ik boek hier zeker opnieuw !

De badkamer en de gangen stonken naar rioollucht.

Het is een prima en net hotel wat rustig gelegen is. Bijna alle kamers hebben een 'buiten' met een zitje zodat je bij lekker weer buiten kunt zitten. Het hotel biedt aan hotelgasten een prima en zeer nette sauna, sportgelegenheid en jacuzzi baden. Ook kun je in het hotel heerlijk bij het open haardvuur zitten en genieten van een drankje en hapje. Mooie design inrichting, lekkere bedden, de grootste kamer en badkamer die ik ooit in een hotel heb gezien: ik heb het hier prima gehad. Het is absoluut niet gehorig en alles is van goede kwaliteit. Er zijn balkons en terrasjes bij de kamers, maar je moet natuurlijk niet buiten willen zitten, want het ligt aan de snelweg. Maar ja, wij gingen overdag […] naar Brugge en 's avonds laat kan dat prima. Goede service ook: we hadden zolang uitgeslapen dat de schoonmakers al weg waren, maar die hadden een tas met schone handdoeken voor de deur gezet! Fijne bar ook, waar je in een prettige sfeer een kopje koffie kunt drinken. De prijs daarvoor is normaal. Op de kamer is trouwens geen koffie/thee-apparaat. Lees meer

Niets op het hotel aan te merken. Alleen wat ver van het centrum van Brugge.

We had a really good time. While the hotel is located a bit closer to the highway, we still likes staying there. the food was good and ambience fantsatic!

used the hotel on a business trip. It is right next to the motorway so it is easy to find and really convenient. Rooms are large and very good, with tea and coffee makers and a minibar. I stayed at this hotel en-route to a company seminar. So I needed somewhere that was a) close to motorway links and b) with room facilities that would allow me to work/prepare. In both regards this hotel delivers. All the staff I encountered were both friendly an efficient. The hotel equipment quality was quite fare for this category. Nevertheless, the hotel room was worn and plenty of dark marks on different walls. A repainting would have been helpful. The reception has been made aware orally and direct information of the responsible person has been promised. After a 1-night stay, I would hope for the next one to benefit […] from this improvement. In short .....excellnt value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Van der Valk Hotel Brugge. The hotel was lovely and it's location was ideal for visiting the Xmas markets and local area. The staff were extremely helpful and spoke fluent English. The only slight critism was that, for us, the bed was firm, but that is only down to personal preference.

nice hotel - booked in here because free internet and parking. down-side is you walk 10 mins to bus stop then get 2 busses to city centre (changing at the bus station) only takes about 20 mins and costs 2 euro each way tho so didn't mind.

Lovely hotel, very comfortable with excellent facilities. Our room was overlooking motorway and so noisey throughout most of the night. We went into Bruges by train which only went every hour.

We stayed here for two nights in October and i can not fault the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. The room was beautifully clean and finished to a incredibly high standard for the price they charge. The location was perfect for us having our own car, Bruges was only a short drive away-and was very easy to find from […] the hotel. The location of the hotel by the motorway was convenient to find and not noisy at all even having a room directly facing the motorway was no problem. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bruges with their own car-it made the stay perfect. Lees meer

Nearly at the end of a 5-week trip around Europe we arrived at this hotel and were very pleased with everything. They say not to trust the photos posted as they could be different from what you get, but we found the photos this time to be totally accurate. Rooms were large, airy and comfortable. Service was with a SMILE which is always lovely to see. […] As others have stated prices are a little high. We did not do breakfast here but chose to move on early in the morning. Parking is close to rooms and elevators are of large carrying capacity - a must when you have a family of 5! About 8km from the town of Brugge itself, but we had a car and were able to travel easily to the town. Hotel staff provided us with maps (readable ones) and also information on walking around the town itself, which we managed to do. Highly recommend this hotel for those who want a quiet weekend retreat, overnight stop or even a place to use as a base to see the surrounding towns. Excellent. Lees meer

Wonderful Hotel for its price! Beautifully simple old structure from outside and modern, clean looking from inside. Very clean, wonderful bathroom and shower! The only negative point is the very nearby traffic noise when the balcony door is open!But the good news is all the nice big doors are double glazed!

This hotel is great but is a few miles to Brugge centre. I don't know if the hotel provides transport but we had our own car. Breakfast was expensive so we didn't have it there but everything else about the hotel was very good and efficient. The room was a good size as well.

An overnight stay with family on way to Holland. it was a bit of a treat for us and above what we normally pay. Hotel is well situated and very nice with effective and professional service. Room was big, clean and the staff fitted another bed into the room instead of a cot for our two year old. The beds were extremely comfortable. A shame we were let […] down by a minor cleanliness problem a big jug of stale beer with cigarette and cigar butts in left from the previous occupants . Not a nice sight and smell to see. This hotel is beautiful, with modern updated facilities. The staff was great, and it was no problem at all for me to get 2 baby cribs and a rollaway bed included with my rooms, which were set up and waiting for me upon check in. The rain showerhead is a dream! The hotel restaurant is a little pricey, but the food quality is great. Highly recommend.

I chose this Hotel as it is about 1hours drive from Calais and allows me to stop off on my way to Germany. After a long 6 hour trip from Southport to Calis via the Tunnel I have attempted on many occasions to do the 4 hour trip to Dusseldorf as well which is bad news! Stopping here I was able to judge my passage around the Antwerp Ring get to Dusseldorf, […] have my meetings return to the Hotel have a relaxing evening and a quick drive to the Tunnel and back to the UK! Hotel is fantastic - just of the Motorway but absolutely no noise - fabulous rooms with real pillows (those of you that stay in Germany will know what I mean!!). A real Gem - I will definitely be a regular -especially at the great rate that I got through Hotels.com!! Lees meer

Stayed for 3 nights - Highly recommended - staff would do anything for you- room very large and modern- had 2 evening meals in hotel which was of high standard- fitness room worth visit empty looks like it has never been used- yes next to the motorway but ideal for travelling around the area we do alot of city breaks - this hotel is certainly one of […] the best we have stayed in - its decor with special little touches gave it 5 stars for both of us Lees meer

Excellent hotel and very friendly staff. Very modern room design and comfortable beds. Not within walking distance of much. Short drive to downtown Brugge.

A lovely hotel, easy to access from the motorway but some way out of Brugge itself.

We came to Belgium for 5 trip days. The location of the hotel is great, right on the e40 road that goes to brussel. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are big and confortable.

This hotel is exceptional. Very stylish reception and restaurant, massive bedroom. The breakfast, though not cheap, is very good. Parking is free at hotel. If going to Bruges the station car park is a lot cheaper than city centre parking

Hotel Staff were extremely friendly, very welcoming. Hired bikes from hotel to cycle into Brugge, very convenient. Very easy to find hotel from motorway.

Very nice hotel several miles outside of Bruges. Very clean, comfortable with an excellent restaurant on site. Easy access to the major highway and to Bruges if you have a car. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful with any request.

The hotel is a really good location for going into Bruges - c.15 mins in the car to the centre. Make sure you park at the Railway Station as they charge the lowest daily rate. The hotel is right by the motorway but you really don't hear this when you're inside. Very clean and nice room - they have kettles here and a fridge (would have been good to know […] this upon booking!). Also, you have to pay extra for roll-out beds which we thought was a bit harsh so we took the free child cot - bit cheeky really! The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. Prices for breakfast are extortionate though (this seems par for the course across Europe these days). Better to stay further out of Bruges than pay the very high parking prices for overnight - this hotel has free parking. Lees meer

Although expensive, the Van der Valk Hotel is first class comfort. Easy access from the motorway provides a good base to work from for the region and it is a 10 minute drive into Brugges.

fantastic!!!!! staff,room and hotel was just lovely much better than we had expected.

I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I asked a bunch of questions and the hotel staff carefully answered each question with a smile. The spa area was very clean and enjoyable. The rooms are very large and pretty. Meals are a bit expensive but not crazy. I will definately book this hotel if I return to the area.
