Residencia Melondistrict Marina in Barcelona

This was a nice place to stay. The only thing that bothered me was that they did not clean the room during our stay.

Wij hebben hier twee weken gezeten. Het hotel zit ongeveer 10 minuutjes lopen van het oude centrum El Born wat erg gezellig is er waar veel leuke restaurants bevinden. Ook het strand is dichtbij als je de straat links helemaal naar beneden loopt ben je binnen een kwartiertje bij een vrij "rustig" strand. Verder was de kamer hartstikke schoon bij aankomst […] alleen vonden wij dat er wel vaker schoongemaakt mocht worden. Onze schoonmaker is in twee weken tijd maar 3 keer geweest. Daarnaast is er aan de einde van de gang een keuken geplaatst waar je een koelkast, gasfornuis, oven, pannen, servies en bestek tot je beschikking hebt wat wel fijn is voor het ontbijt. Voor de rest is het personeel vriendelijke, behulpzaam en spreken allemaal goed engels. Ik kan dit hotel aan iedereen aan raden die... - niet al te veel wil betalen maar wel goede service wil - van een jongeren hotel houdt want de leeftijd van de gasten zit denk ik tussen de 18 en de 25 jaar - je lekker dicht bij de stad en strand wil zitten Lees meer

Prima hotel, super modern en schoon. Aardige mensen bij de receptie. Vlakbij metrostation Marina dus binnen 10 munten op placa Catalunya. Lopen naar zee is echt wel 20 minuten maar OV brengt je overal snel. De taxi's zijn goedkoop. Na uitgaan ben je voor 6 euro per rit weer thuis. Verder is de kamer heeeel klein maar wel netjes modern en schoon. gemeenschappelijke […] woonkamer kan je gaan zitten en zwembad op het dak is heerlijk! wij hadden de pech dat er niet is schoongemaakt gedurende 1 week. maar toen we gingen klagen kregen we wel schone handdoeken... Prima rustige buurt. Maar als je maar 2/3 dagen gaat zou ik lekker in het drukke centrum gaan zitten dat scheelt tijd. Lees meer

Heb een weekendje Barcelona geboekt voor 2 nachten midden het centrum voor een spotprijsje. Echt waar voor je geld. Er is geen eten voorzien, maar er zijn genoeg cafetaria's in de buurt. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, een nadeel wel is dat er een discotheek in de buurt is en er tot 5u smorgens lawaai zal zijn..

We were given a room on the first floor and the noise was such that we could not sleep. The hotel was very nice about changing our room to the fourth floor...still noisy but better. The immediate neighborhood is bleak. Don't bother seeking out a cafe or restaurant. The front desk employees were VERY helpful. The free wifi is available only in public areas. The hotel is in an excellent location, just 2 minutes walk away from Marina subway station (the metro runs until midnight/24hr at weekend). The surrounding neighbourhood is not great in terms of entertainment (Sonora sports bar aside!), but you can easily and cheaply travel into the centre of Barcelona in 10/15mins. The hotel has very small no frills […] rooms, but we only used it as a base for exploring Barcelona, for which it was excellent. The hotel has an amazing rooftop (block A at least) with a small narrow pool and genuinely brilliant views over Barcelona, you can see the sea, Sagrada Familia etc. We found the rooftop a great place to chill out with some sangria and enjoy the views in the evening before heading out to dinner. The shared kitchens are very big and ours had plenty of sofas and a large flat screen TV - so ideal for group getaways too! The staff were very helpful and willing to give recommendations on restaurants etc. The Meloncafe offers a fairly limited range of food, but is pretty cheap, so we found it a useful place for breakfast to start the day (opens at 7am I think). Its a quite convenient place to stay, clean, stylish, and the best staff ever! you have a cafeteria on the first floor, but it's pretty limited though. It's a student residence but very quiet, so you have the young crowd for local advice, and a quiet tranquil place to sleep after long days of catalonian adventures. Dorm style rooms with small but adequate bathrooms. Front desk people are very helpful and very friendly. The hotel has a lot of noise coming from the street, so if you have your window open it can be tough to sleep. Very close to 2 metro stations of different lines. Also walkable to El Born or the Gothic District in about 15-25 minutes. Free internet […] in the room with provided ethernet cord and wifi in public areas. Location is ok, we had some trouble finding it, but got there eventually. It's a good value for money but rooms are just tiny. Very secure, magnetic locks on every door. Neighborhood not the best for families with small children.

The Accommodation was perfect for my needs while in Barcelona. Its location 5 mins from the Sacred Family. 10 minutes from the beach. Free Parking close to the accom just at the btm of the block and round the corner. In general a simple but nice hotel. Room is too small for 2 persons. Cleaner come after 6 days of stay - Staff should inform you when you arrive at the hotel. After taking a shower the bathroom was full under water. We went to the front desk to get more towels for drying the floor. Metro is close to the hotel and you walk to the beach. the staff was rude,the surrounding area is dangerous,they dont clean your unless you stay there six days or more.

The staff was very welcoming. Rooms are small but enough since your out to enjoy the city most of time. The cleaning was OK, I found old crumbs on the shelves and one pubic hair in the bathroom. It was a good deal for the price, but I wouldn't call it a hotel. Its more like student lodging. It is close to a subway to get around. The staff does not clean your room, that is up to you, and the pool is very small, not at all what the picture looks like.

The room was very basic. It served the purpose for the short amount of time to stay in Barcelona on a tight budget. The hotel actually serves as student residences but it is not a hostel. You have your onwn bathroom. The concept of the shared kitchen area is interesting. We didin't use it but I bet it would be useful for some people staying for a longer […] period of time. The location is convenient to the metro and the sagrada familia cathedral but is a little bit removed from the Plaza Catalunya and the Ramblas. Very comfortable stay at this Hotel. Good location. Close to Metro. Fine for couples and Singles. Not for family's though.

This place was great. T he pool up top wAs small but we went there for swimming. The metro and rail are very close. They give you a map with the closest bars, markets, and sites. The room is small but clean and cold with the AC on. I would come back just for the view of the city at night too!

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful - I was able to extend my stay an additional night and even though I needed to switch rooms, the switch was quick and easy. The hotel is close to Line 1 and about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the calmer, less crowded area of the beach where a few of the nicer nightclubs are. Staff all helpful. Room comfortable and compact. Views amazing. Pool and deck most appreciated. Kitchen was good, facilities amazing but understocked with adequate cutlery and cooking utensils. Overall and amazing place.

I read the reviews of this hotel before booking and was very happy with my stay here. I found the staff very welcoming and helpful in any request that l had. My room was clean and all l needed although not very large. There was great cooking facilities on each floor for the people of that floor and kitchen was always kept clean. Hotel was a very good deal for the money. Rooms were small, but with comfortable clean bedding, and quite modern.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location just meters from metro and tram stations. New building in a very quiet neighborhood only 3 metro stops from the center of the city. If you want the bare miniumum in BCN, this is a decent hotel. No frills. Rooms are small, but the staff was friendly. Good location. Only 3 stops from Las Ramblas.

This is really a student residence and not a "hotel" as you would expect. The rooms we clean. However it was very noisy late at night around midnight to one or so in the morning. Shouting, singing, and thumping in the corridors. A used condom on the corridor floor the next morning will give you an idea of what went on. Not a hotel that I would recommend […] for seniors. Værelset var lidt småt, man havde forventet at det var en smule større ud for billederne, men det var et dejligt værelse, lækkert poolområde og et brugbart køkken/opholdsstue som der kunne laves aftensmad i hvis man var til det :-) søde mennesker i receptionen der gjorde alt for at besvare spørgssmål og hjælpe, selvom der var nogle stykker der misforstod […] ens engelsk, men det er normalt. Kicsi, de kényelmes szoba, tiszta tusoló. 12 szobához tartozó közös, jól felszerelt konyha, a hűtőben zárható kis fakkokkal. A 3 különböző magasságú épület tetején medence, 24 órás portaszolgálat. A környéken temetkezési vállalatok, szolgáltatók vannak. :-(

Exceptuando que las sabanas se notaban un tanto mal lavadas, el resto fenomenal. Silencio, servicios, proximidad a metro, bares, supermercados, etc. Recomendable.

Muy buenas habitaciones, comodas y limpias. Excelentes facilidades

abbastansa comodo buona colazione e qualche spuntino

Hotel moderno e limpo. Perto de transportes públicos. Internet no quarto por cabo que funciona bem. Fiquei no menor quarto que tem uma cama de casal boa e uma cozinha completa com todos os utensílios.

Små, men effektive rom. OK beliggenhet i forhold til t-bane og Ramblaen. Mulig å gå til bystranden. Student-/backpacker profil. Anbefales hvis man vil ha seng/rom uten alt for mye ekstra.

Posizione molto buona anche se non vicino al centro, la stazione metro dista circa trecento metri. Quartiere tranquillo, non abbiamo riscontrato nessun tipo di attività criminale. Struttura nuova, personale disponibilissimo e gentile, camera spaziosa, silenziosa, fornita di angolo cottura, bagno con doccia, non ci sono stati problemi di nessun tipo. […] Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, hotel senza alcun dubbio da consigliare per un breve-lungo periodo di soggiorno. Résidence étudiante avec un immeuble réservé aux touristes, cet hôtel est à la fois propre, sécurisé (vigiles le soir et cartes d'accès à l'entrée, accueil 24/24). L'immeuble des touristes est situé côté rue, samedi soir quelques fêtards ont fait un peu de bruit, mais rien d'affreux, la sécurité leur a demandé de baisser de volume. L'hôtel est situé […] à côté du métro Ligne 1, du tramway (trajet direct pour la plage), et pas trop loin du bus de nuit N3, idéal pour rentrer du Camp Nou. Les voisins ne sont pas embêtants, c'est le service funéraire de Barcelone. Niveau internet, pas de wifi, mais du ethernet, sauf au second étage où on arrive à capter un peu de Wifi de la salle commune. Petit bémol, le nettoyage n'a pas été fait dans la chambre durant mon séjour, mais c'était propre à mon arrivée. Lees meer

Fint hotel, med det vi skulle bruge. Overnatning i rolige omgivvelser. Nemt at få morgenmad i selve hotellet. Centralt med nem adgang til transport rundt i byen. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Hotellissa toimii kaikki, niin kuin pitää. Ei ole mitään ylellisyyksiä ja kaikki turha on hotellista riisuttu pois. Hotellin henkilökunta auttaa tarvittaessa ja on ammattitaitoista. Kivana lisänä on kuitenkin hotellin kaunis katto uima-allas. A-talossa upea näköala koko Barcelonaan! Suositellaan lämpimästi matkailijoille jolla pieni budjetti!
