Melange Bed and Breakfast in Hendersonville

This bed and breakfast was amazing. The house and grounds were absolutely amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable. Our hosts were very nice and did everything to make our stay perfect. If you are visiting Asheville or the Biltmore and want a great place to stay, I recommend staying here.

Beautiful accommodations. Warm and friendly hosts. Great breakfast. Convenient location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Hendersonville in the western NC mountains is a quaint city with great shops and restaurants, and in a quiet residential area near the downtown activity, you will find the lovely Melange Bed and Breakfast Inn. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this historic home. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The breakfast was wonderful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Melange. Beautifully restored home & wonderful gardens provided the perfect setting for romance & relaxation. The innkeepers are the most cordial & interesting couple we have met in a long time. Breakfasts were a real treat -- served in the beautiful sun room. As a bed&breakfast, it was everything you'd expect: lots of collectibles, victorian & art deco, flowered wallpapers. Owners were extremely accommodating- we had to change rooms to get a firm mattress for my husband's back issues, but it all worked out well. Breakfasts were tasty & unique (baked pears), organic oatmeal with fresh fruits in antique parfait […] glasses, egg mini-omelette with smoked gouda. So, needless to say, the food impressed. Do not hesitate to book a room here at Melange Bed and Breakfast. I surprised my husband for our second anniversary and booked the Scarlet Room. The only problem was I only booked one night! The Inn Keepers (Lela and Mehmet) are so welcoming, accomodating, and such interesting people to talk to. From the mini fridge stocked with beverages in our room, […] to the flatscreen TV and cute jukebox radio, our updated bathroom, cocktails and snacks on the porch, to a delicious breakfast the next morning, we couldn't have been more comfortable. We really enjoyed Champa's (Sushi and Thai restaraunt downtown) for dinner and then hiked to 3 waterfalls at Dupont State Forest the next day. All and all an amazing getaway. Again, do not hesitate to book this bed and breakfast. Hendersonville, NC is such a quaint little town with a really nice downtown area and so much to do. We will definately go back. Lees meer

We had a great stay at the Melange over July 4th. The owners and the his family are great hosts. We will definitely stay there again soon!

What a wonderful weekend! We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and Mehmet gave us the honeymoon suite! Mehmet and Lale were wonderful hosts. The food was excellent (we only had breakfast but next time we will have to experience dinner!) Hendersonville had so much more to offer than we expected and then Asheville was just 20 minutes away. This is one of the best B&Bs that we have enjoyed. We were greeted warmly and the host even carried our bag to the room. He showed us the features of the room and asked if we had any questions. In the evening we went to the living room for a cocktail (taking our own flask) and the hosts brought ice and glasses. They also asked if we needed any mixers, […] but we had brought our own. The hosts had started a wood fire and it was cozy. The decorations around the house are fascinating – many family items and a lot of items from the Middle East. When we were ready to head to town for supper the hosts recommended a number of places and told us that if we could not find anything open (the weather was really nasty) to come back and they would make something for us. After supper we returned to our room. We each used the Jacuzzi and slept very well on the memory foam mattress. Breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surprise. My wife began the meal with strong black tea which she really enjoyed. My coffee was strong and very good. A fruit compote on a flaky pastry was the first course. The main course was a poached egg on cheese on flat bread with some flavorful seeds on top. Both were fantastic. I hope to return soon. Lees meer

I cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. The only way I can sum it up is by saying that we always felt like guests, never patrons. The house was beautiful, the owners were wonderful, and the breakfast was the cherry on the top. We are already planning a trip back...and I'm sure there will be more after that!
