Copacabana Apartment Hotel in Pasay

Mijn tweede verblijf in dit hotel bevestigt mijn eerder gegeven beoordeling.

In dit hotel kun je, bij het keurig onderhouden zwembad zittend, genieten van een goed ontbijt en andere maaltijden en van een drankje. Het personeel van dit hotel is niet alleen vriendelijk, maar ook ijverig. Men doet zijn werk serieus en goed.

Mijn derde verblijf in Copacabana Apartment Hotel was teleurstellend. Deze keer had ik een appartementje geboekt. Dit was echter gelocaliseerd in de vleugel van het gebouw, die pal aan de "highway" ligt. Daar is een verschrikkelijk verkeerslawaai, dat dag en nacht doorgaat. Ik wilde mijn verblijf verlengen, maar dan in een gewone hotelkamer, gelocaliseerd […] in de andere vleugel, die verder weg van de highway ligt. Nice but they wanted 2000 peso deposit after I got there that they said would be returned. Didn't have the 2000 pesos, so I gave them American and they converted it using a horrible exchange rate and told me they would return the deposit in pesos, and not the American I gave them.

I really like the kitchenette. It made it easy to have my own food to eate and to make food for my companions

Nice hotel, close to airport. Friendly helpful staff. Room clean and well maintained. Good value for money. Would stay again.

The hotel is good for a 1 night stay near the airport as the price is good, the hotel is very clean, the room is comfortable except for the bed which is a little too hard, and the staff are friendly. However, the air con didn't work very well in the car sent for the airport pickup service so we probably wouldn't use this service again.

This hotel was nicer and cleaner than similar priced options we've stayed at previously near the airport. Also, the neighborhood was nicer and felt safer than other similar hotels, especially better than the Manila Airport Hotel. This place has good looking rooms with all the facilities stated but it is next to one of the main road from the airport to the city and noise from it is constant all night, as well as occasionally the noise from low flying aircraft. There's nothing really in the surrounding neighbourhood, a 7-11 and a host of fast food outlets next to where the jeepnies […] seem to park up. Lees meer

Copacabana was a great place to stay! Close to the Mall of Asia. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Hotel but apartment like living with kitchen and livingroom accomodations.

you need to ask for a renovated room to get a nice room but if you don't talk up you will get what they give you O ask for aircon room you will get it if you ask

Very big rooms for relatively little money. I've stayed in quite a few Philippines hotels over the last couple of years, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The rooms (a living room/kitchen and a bedroom) were large with a small (though not very inviting) balcony off the bedroom. I specifically requested a high floor and received floor 6 (out of […] 10) which was ok, though traffic noise was still very audible in the living room side, but muted in the bedroom side. The mini-bar is actually a full sized fridge and quite reasonably priced. There was a sink and cooker, kettle etc, though we didn't use these in our 2 days stay. The only slight let-down was the bathroom which was small relative to the rooms, and a bit tired. It is only 70 peso taxi ride to MOA (avoid the hotel taxi - that was 150 peso!) and around 200 peso to the airport (unless you realize you left your wedding ring by the shower and have to ask the driver to return to the hotel and wait whilst you recover it!!). Found lots of hair from the bathroom floor. Otherwise nice room. There's a pool on the hotel but not enough poolside sun chairs. Staff was very friendly! Location good for going to bazar market at Baclaran or Mall of Asia.

This was my first time to stay this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful. Especially, the security guard of the entrance was nice that always helping us to call the taxi, also they have the hotel taxi was useful even it was fixed rate but not so expensive than the other hotels. Nice hotel, resonable prices, good service. Expensive laundry. Not really anything bad with it, Recommended by me.

Suited our purpose perfectly - cheap and close to airport. Quite a bit of noise from the road throughout the night. Got a free upgrade to a two room apartment, and other than the fact that the age of the hotel shows, i cannot put a finger on anything in relation to the room.

The location is good. The food is pricy. The room is stinky. As soon as we open the room the smell is strong. I believe it's something they used on the floor. My reference is non smoking and the room smells cigarette smoke even the beddings. No microwave or kitchen just a fridge with full of expensive drinks. The toilet handle is broken. The windows do not keep out the traffic noise. The hallways are tiled and partygoers coming back all night are very loud. The front desk calls your room when. You hang the so not disturb sign!

one room was good and our next room was very bad,we where to have none smokeing room, one we got two room are smokeing room,one was bad other room was good, I went and told them we pay for none smokeing, and they did not help us.

The Copacabana Hotel was a pleasant experience for me. I found the service to be good and my room fairly clean. The only inconvenience I experienced was that the hotel's elevator only went to the tenth floor, while my room was located on the eleventh floor. I also found the prices of their breakfast to be a little too expensive (prices were what breakfast […] would cost in the U.S.). Cheap price, good location, no insects, modern furniture, friendly staff, safe neighborhood at night (from just a walk around alone), clean comfortable bed. My room was good. Your experience could vary as it could be I just lucked out, as this hotel has many rooms, but I would recommend this hotel. When we got in the hotel the room wasn't ready and the lady at the reception told us to wait for 15 minutes, but it took us 25 minutes of waiting. The hotel is nice, we had a good stay even it was just an overnight. I like the room and the bed. We didn't have a chance to see the pool. I have to admitt the past 2 times i have stayed there the "BEDs" were horrible. Need to invest in some new bed mattreses. I could literly feel the springs poking me in the back Please by new bed mattreses

nice location near mall of asia, has a swimming pool, wish elevator went up to top floor.room service food is good.

You get what you paid for there. Rooms are old but clean. It gets abit noisy facing the busy roads. Not much around the hotel to see but location wise its close to airport and SM mall in Pasay City which has eveything you need from shops to restaurants.

First of all the good thing about this hotel. Its a great location since Mall of Asia is only few steps away and its easy to find since all the TAXis know where it is and if they don't then you just tell them to go to the Heritage. The staff is good and the little I had to communitcate with them they seem nice. The room was very clean and they even […] wash your dishes and cutlery which came as a suprise to me. Well the bad things are so bad that they make me don't want to stay there again. The bed didn't work for me since the mattress is a very cheap spring mattress and my back was killing me after the first night. Also the noise from the other rooms penetrates the wall very easily and I felt a little privacy and the streets really penetrates even though my room was not facing the street and the honking starts around 6am so no sleeping after that unless you can sleep with earplugs. They also say they have microwave in the room but they dont. I also was hoping that I had a oven in my room since I was pretty sure that I saw a picture that some rooms did but mine didnt. So to sum this review up the I can't recommend this hotel since the most important thing about the hotel stay is that you sleep well and I didnt. I will not stay there again I'm sorry to say since they only need to buy new mattresses and maybe try to soundproof the windows better and it would be a good hotel. Lees meer

the location not bad at all closed to malls and Airport.. Good thing is Pet friendly hotel but there's no walking space for dog's.. The building is just side street of major highway no space at all... the only thing is not breakfast included kind a expensive.. but having a kitchenette is helpful also .. Its ok not bad...

i was expecting to have a microwave in the room because it was stated in the room information or description but there was none and i was not happy about that.

Wouldn't have been bad if they updated the place. The room was big. The paint on the walls was peeling. The cabinets were painted horribly in the kitchen. Average cleanliness. The lobby, pool and restaurant were decent. The mall of asia is close by.

all service crew is patience

The Front Desk personnels should not keep their guests waiting, especially if there's already an advanced reservation made via online. In my case, after showing my online receipt, I was told to be called later and take a seat at their sofa muna. The staff said it will take abt 10 min. (!?!) You know what, there were 3 staffs then, and they were only […] entertaining one (1) guest - an Indian national. Ten min.to us is so muccchhhh time -. So I told the staff, mine is already a paid reservation. She is just to check their system, check my ID and give my room key. Even the security guard on duty at that May 26 11pm check-in that we had, very discourteous and sarcastic. We stayed in Manila for 2 nights in Copacabana apartment hotel because it was close to the airport, is about 10 minutes taxi ride (you have to ask to turn on the meter on or you WILL get overcharged), the ride was about 200 pesos (less than 5 dollars). The hotel is right next to the Heritage hotel which is a very good reference point to tell the taxi […] driver. The neighborhood was a little scary but to be honest I find Manila to be scary no matter where. The room I booked was a studio room but we got an upgrade to a suite because there were no more king beds, our friends got the studio with twin beds. Both rooms were very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was ok, not too big and the shower had trouble with the hot water, not too much pressure but it still worked. The hotel has wifi but you have to pay 100 pesos for 1 hour (minimum). If you stay there be sure to visit the street market, it is about 3 blocks from the corner of the Heritage Hotel and is very very cheap. Also the hotel is very near to Mall of Asia, and the taxis should not charge you more than 100 pesos to go or come back. If you have an early flight the hotel can arrange a taxi with a fixed rate, around 270 pesos. Overall is a good place to stay for 1 night or two, since is not very close to rest of the city. I stayed five days in the graouded Manila. This hotel was realy a nice and peacefull place to stay. Very nice appartment, good service and a nice poolarea.

Very nice and helpful staff. Polite and very concerned about your comfort. Location is near the Mall of Asia and close to the airport. Being an apartment hotel, you have the option to cook your own meals in the comfort of your suite. I will definitely stay there on my next trip to Manila. this was my second experience at this establishment. Again the staff was polite and professional. Pool area is very nice and comfortable. Those are the things i LIKED about it...heres what i DIDNT like. my room was on 11th floor...elevator only goes to 10th. Room was spacious with decent sized closet. ol'skool tv no plasma or LCD. The bed...OMG, like […] a box spring with a mattress pad on top, i compared it to sleeping on an X-Ray table. no free breakfast and no free internet, infact i was accused of taking advantage the front-desk clerk and taking too much change for a 6-hour internet card that cost $10.36USD. Check-out was an excersize in patience as it took 45 minutes for the bell-man to bring down 2 bags. NO i wont return or recomment Lees meer

There are 2 hotels in Manila with this same name, so be sure you give the taxi driver the correct address. If you look like an american, expect to pay many pesos to be taken anywhere. In our case 900 pesos was rather steep to go 2.2 miles although there were 4 of us and we had lots of luggage.
