Marina Bay Sands in Singapore

Op andere sites waren de beoordelingen over dit hotel vaak slecht, omdat de service slecht zou zijn, maar die ervaring deel ik absoluut niet. Vanwege mijn verjaardag vroeg ik of ik een kamer met mooi uitzicht kon krijgen en de persoon achter de balie heeft uiteindelijk een enorme suite geregeld die nog groter was dan mijn huis. De check-in verliep ook […] heel vlot en ook het brengen en later weer halen van de bagage ging prima en snel. Alle personeel en security onderweg van de lobby naar de kamer lachtte heel vriendelijk en ook bij het bezoek aan de skydeck op de 57e verdieping was het personeel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Het hotel is een hele belevenis op zich met een up-scale shopping mall erbij en casino en restaurants, dus het is erg druk op de openbare plekken en lobby en dat kan erg onpersoonlijk overkomen, maar op de kamer merk je daar niks van. Als ik dan toch nog een minpunt moet bedenken dan is het dat het interieur erg oubollig aandoet voor zo'n mooi ontworpen modern gebouw en dat de verschillende stoelen, banken en bedden allemaal niet bij elkaar passen en het geen bijzonder hotel maken kwa interieur en luxe beleving. Dat doen andere, goedkopere hotels in SIngapore beter. De afstand naar Orchard Road is ook nogal ver, dus indien je komt om daar te shoppen dan kun je beter niet hier zitten. Lees meer

Can't put a finger on anything. Maybe too many families at the rooftop pool, but can't do much about that I guess.

We were there for 3 nights inTthe Club Ciy View (upgrade) and it was very good experience.We love Marina Bay Sands and would like to stay there again.

Nice Hotel, Staff are friendly. We enjoyed it.

This place is absolutely out of this world, the views are amazing, rooms are huge, and the staff will do anything they can to make your trip comfortable.

Hotel had world class infinity pool on top of the building. Gym had nicest view I have seen. Only worse thing was that location is quite far from sights and Orchard. MRT isnt near and you have to use cars.

Marina Bay Sands has in all aspects exceeded our expectations of this new hotel icon in Singapore. Check in was fast and easy. Fantastic hotel in a beautiful spot - away from the hustle and bustle with fantastic views. Taxis are cheap so it doesn't matter if you are out of the main area. The hotel is in great condition. The rooms are very spacious and have all the amenities you can imagine. Excellent view. The resort is huge so you might want to leave one entire day to enjoy the pool and the shops. Worth the money just for the pool and the skybar at night. We checked in at 2.00pm and our was not properly cleant. There were used cotton butts left behind the front door & there were dust & hair every where behind the curtain of our window. We contacted front desk 3 times and 2 hours later for the room to be re-cleant. Very disappointed for a 5* hotel.

Long queue for checking in.It took at least 20 minutes to wait for my turn. Definitely needs improvement.

Had a lovely stay at Marina Bay Sands. The roof top pool is amazing! Staff very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful architecturally Space Age type hotel. Amazing views from enormous infinity pools on 57th floor roof top over Singapore river and City skyline. About 30 excellent restaurants, many having Celebrity Chefs (exception being 'Cut', Wolfgang Puck's steak restaurant - a great disappointment - hugely overpriced and very poor customer service. Hotel staff provided excellent customer service - all staff go out of their way to be helpful. 2650 rooms in 3 towers, yet all remembered my name, often after only one meeting!! Front Desk capacity is to be improved as the cueing time is simply too long. The bath room is big and luxurious, but for the towels (especially if you are 2+ people) there should be more towel hangers, for which is ample wall space.

We arrived at the hotel at 3 PM. But we could not check-in until 7 PM because of the late of cleaning. We had to go to the front desk three times to check-in.

Can't say anything bad about this hotel. From off the taxi to catch another taxi to leave the hotel, couldn't find anything wrong. Must see and stay.....

The most beautyfull and confortable hotel in Singapore. Friendly crew and big rooms... The swimming pool is FANTASTIC!!! But the food is very expensive even around the hotel. If you like steak and money is not a problem, I suggest you the Cut restaurant in the shopping mall on front of the hotel.

Marina bay is a good hotel, the staff and the maintenance of the hotel is also of high standards. Very impressive hotel, but the service is terrible...

We stayed in the hotel on 17th December 2011 and 18th December 2011. The reason we stayed @ the hotel is because for the convenience for us to see the Wicked at the theatre. The only good about the hotel is near to the theatre and have the airport free shuttle. Basically, the room is design is simple and not luxury at all. No breakfast included. And […] the Infinity Pool is crowded. We went out for brunch until 11:30 am and our access card doesn't work because their check out time is strictly 11:00 am. We really feel the hotel is over price. We had a club room with city view and it was really pleasant experience. We arrived early in the morning and got the access to the hotel services right a way. Room was given by 10 a'clock. Cogtail and canabe hours were courmet experience. Excelent people around you all the time.

Anyone who says this is a 5 Star Hotel has not stayed in a 5 Star Hotel. 45 minutes to check in because they did not have the room that was booked, paid for and confirmed. Paid for 'City View' room, put in room with view of a construction site. Shared lift everyday with soggy tourists in bathrobes. Curtain hanging off rail. $200 meal (salad, main course […] and wine), overpriced and in a cafe more than a restauant. Other people also did not get the room they had booked. The whole package- polished, clean, chic, modern, a view to die for! Take the breakfast included package- very expensive if not so just do that up front! It was so worth sitting on the top floor at 7-30 inthe morning with views over the whole of SIngapore with a breakfast to die for! You feel like royalty! Well worth it every step of the way! We stayed for 5 days and got upgrade when we arrived , this was the last stay of a 5 week holiday , it is the best hotel in the world , thanks to all the staff that made us feel so good , enjoy your stay there and look at the web site ,Noel

We were "gestured" in a room on the lowest floor - 2nd Floor while 1st Floor is the lobby. We had to be awaken by the heavy traffic even during midnight, as our "flower-bed balcony was just next to the main road. The safe was mal-functioning. We waited for more than two hours after I called without response. I had to call again since we wanted to place […] our passports inside the room safe before we go to the swimming pool. Two hours were wasted ! Very dissatisfied and we grumbled next morning to bargain for higher floors during the 2nd and 3rd nights' stay. Really annoying for what we paid that were not deserving such high cost !!! No free shuttle bus to let residents go around districts nearby like Sands in Macau. Lees meer

Swiming pool is the best, but room is normal, so a little disappointed.

This is the place to be..staying in the most spectacular hotel in Singapore! I can stay in that hotel all day long without going some place else.

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is really a very beautiful hotel with a magnificent view of Singapore. I would stay there again if I had a chance.

Fantastic hotel; stayed in the Premier room with a city view and it was good to stay at a hotel in Singapore that sctually had room space. The view and pool was amazing. My only gripe is that you have to pay for WiFi

I had planned this staycation months in advance, and hoped that my wife would be amazed on her brithday. When we checked into the suite- the view simply took our breaths away. The club facilities at the Club room kept us more than amply fed at tea, with the canapes and drinks in the evening a nice way to round off an afternoon swimming in the infinity […] pool. I do not think there is a hotel experience out there that can beat this one for impact, emotion and passion of stay. The impact of the stay extends beyond the physical design of the hotel- which is impeccable. It's the whole experience of being suspended in the air, with the clouds drifting by overhead, looking at the heart of the financial district. It's the emotion evoked to see the past and present history of Singapore melded together beneath you- the Singapore River, Chinatown, the Esplanade, the corporate headquarters of multinationals- all poised at rest on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Yet, deep down, the sum achievement of capitalism and governance converge beneath the wide expanse of an international coterie of tourists out for a dip- a reassurance that they are part of an experience that is rare around the world- as rare as island states that make it to advanced nation status (in many ways, albeit some areas are still works in progress)- within half a century. This hotel is amazing! The incredible architectural structure, decor and finer details left us wanting to extend our stay. The pool and surrounding environment on the 57th floor is an unbelievable sight and one that needs to be experienced to be believed. Definitely a hotel that I would visit again when I return to Singapore. I enjoyed the pool and the observation deck as a guest, the infinite pool was breath taking and the light show at night also adds a nice touch to the stunning city view.
