love this hotel for the area, and convenience. just dont stay on the 621 as it is very close to the trains, and it is very loud in the morning. othewise great.

Mets Shibuya is easy to find if you arrive by NEX or JR Saiko Line otherwise a taxi or a very close study of the map and a long hike is needed if you arrive by Limousine Bus. Jr Yamanote Line is OK but a bit of a long transit within JR Shibuya Station. We had the standard 16 sq metre semi-double which is OK for two for a short stay. Included breakfast […] at Coffee Shop (400-640 yen to buy) or Buffet Breakfast at Public House Bar (800 yen to buy) are a real bonus. Once settled and orientated it is a good location. We preferred our stays at hotels in Ginza but this is a good base near Shibuya, Shinjulu (6 min on express train) and Aoyama. Lees meer

Very nice Front Desk personnel. Clean hotel. Excellent shower! Very good location in the Shibuya area. Appreciated the free wifi, fridge, desk. No CNN on the tv, no tv in English. Good pillows, nice comforter. Mattress not all that comfortable, and the air conditioning was not very good.

The first thing you should know about this hotel is that THE MAP HAS IT IN THE WRONG PLACE!! I went looking all over the area west of Shibuya station, based on the hotels.com map, and ended up wasting nearly an hour lugging around two heavy rolling bags. If I hadn't been able to read Japanese I would have been sunk. Ask for the Shin-Minami Guchi (new […] south exit) of JR Shibuya Station. Note that this is only convenient to JR, there's a bit of a hike to the other lines (Tokyu, Metro/Subway, Inokashira). As for other aspects of the hotel, it was nice, the room was small but clean, the lobby and public areas were modern/elegant. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in the Shibuya and Shinjuku area but have to say that the Mets Shibuya is now always one of my first choices. First of all, the location is hard to beat for the price as the entrance to the hotel is in Shibuya station, when you get to Shibuya head for the new south exit and you are there. Although Shibuya is very […] vibrant and busy, the new south exit is in a quieter location about 7 minutes minutes walk from to the main Hachiko and crazy zebra crossing area so don't worry about the noise.The hotel staff are very friendly and always do their best to help with any questions.I did try to use my basic Japanese but some English is spoken at reception and you should be fine if you can't speak Japanese. The hotel itself is very clean and fresh but If you are a non-smoker like me, make sure you ask for a non-smoking room as hotel smoking rooms in Japan usually have that smokey smell even though the rooms are clean. The is a coin operated laundry room within the hotel along with vending machines machines. Breakfast is usually included in the price, although there is a McDonalds and a lovely coffee shop right outside the exit, along with various Japanese restaurants. One other good point about the location is the Narita express platform is under the hotel, so if you are going back to Narita airport with your heavy suitcase you only have to go down to the platform which is 1 minute away. After a long flight and the usual customs process, you can catch the Japan Rail Narita express virtually straight to the Mets Shibuya front door. The Hotel is situated right on the station premises, although it is a huge station and one has to navigate the different levels. The hotel is in a brilliant location with great shopping and sight seeing within […] walking distance. Being right on the train station one can easily access the various rail lines or subway lines making a great base for many exciting day trips. The hotel is always clean and tidy with friendly staff and the complimentary buffet is is always a great start to the day. There is a convienience store, coffee shop and restaurants right outside the door. After a big day of exploring you can get a good feed, coffee or pick up something from the convienience store and you're not far from your bed. It is a perfect place for people watching as the pedestrian crossing out the front of the train station is the busiest in the world and a popular meeting place for some of the most fashion stylish people on the planet. I have stayed at the Mets Shibuya 4 times out of 4 visits to Japan and it is like meeting up with an old friend and a great place to start your trip if you fly into Narita airport and a great place to regroup and relax before you fly home again. lovely hotel, excellent service, ideal location, there are convenience stores nearby and the subway is just at the hotel's door step! only thing they probably need to improvise on is the wifi (there is no wifi in the hotel) and the room heating. overall, i am really pleased with my stay and will definitely stay there again when i visit Japan!

Although I requested for a non-smoking room, the 6th floor's hallway was very smoky. Probably some rooms on that floor might have had smoke room. Breakfast was simple, but it was very tasty. Very nice people, a nice restaurant (Public House) on the premises, cleanliness, and very convenient location attached to the JR trainstation in Shibuya. I enjoyed my stay.

On a map it looks like dead on shibuya centre. But it isn't. To get to downtown shibuya, you have to cross bridges, litterally... But the place is new. And the staff is strict. No checkin in 1min before 3. Cleaning enters eventhough you leave do not disturb sign on....

Hotellet var väldigt rent och fint, servicen klanderfri och närheten till transport extremt bra. Hotellet ligger i samma byggnad som den nya södra ingången till Shibuya station, vilket innebär att man kan ta sig till de flesta ställena i staden bara genom att gå ut genom hotellhissen. lett å komme til hotellet fra shibuya stasjon, og nærme shoppingarealene shibuya og harajuku. kjempe vennlig personale, fikk gratis frokost kuponger da vi var der (vi bestilte ikke med frokost, mener jeg). frokosten var variert og god, koselig frokostbar. for meg var dette et perfekt hotell å leie om man vil ligge i shibuya!! kommer sikkert til å være […] her igjen om jeg drar til tokyo igjen~ Lees meer

JR 시부야역과 붙어 있는 너무나도 좋은 위치이더군요. 앞쪽에 바로 편의점이 있고 시부야역쪽 밥집들이 늘어서 있기에.. 이런저런 편의성이 뛰어납니다.

Very good location, right by the "New South Exit" at Shibuya station. Nice staff and a choice of two different cafés to eat included breakfast, both quite good. The rooms can be a little small though and I had no closet or other storage in my room except for a few hangers by the door. Living out your suitcase for a week is not ideal...

A very decent hotel which meets all the needs of a tourist: clean, great location, western cafe in the hotel, 24 hours open convenient store and a Mc Donalds just in front of the hotel... I was very happy with it comparing to its rates and I would consider to stay there again or to recommend to anyone who will go to Tokyo.
