Ligging.
The Maxwell Hotel ligt in het centrum van Seattle, op loopafstand van Pacific Northwest Ballet, Marion Oliver McCaw Hall en Seattle Center. In de buurt liggen ook Space Needle en Experience Music Project Museum.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
The Maxwell Hotel heeft een binnenzwembad, een fitnesscentrum en gratis fietsen. In openbare ruimtes is een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) beschikbaar. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 3-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een 24-uurs businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een limousine- of autoservice. Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een koffiebar/café. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgedienst en hulp bij excursies/tickets regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een wasserij en een open haard in de lobby. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een lokale shuttlebus binnen een radius van 3 mi. Er zijn een beperkt aantal gratis parkeerplaatsen. Als er geen plek meer is, kan je ook vlakbij betaald parkeren. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
The Maxwell Hotel heeft 139 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van MP3-dockingstations en een (laptop)kluis. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met een donsdeken en luxe beddengoed. Een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) is beschikbaar. Elke 42-inch flatscreentelevisie heeft kabelzenders en een dvd-speler. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau, een gratis weekkrant en een telefoon met voicemail en gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Elke badkamer is voorzien van douches, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer is voorzien van een magnetron, een koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en openslaande ramen. Bovendien wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer beschikbaar.

Dit hotel ligt vlak bij de luchthaven en dus ideaal wanneer je vlucht de volgende ochtend vroeg vertrekt. De kamers zijn comfortabel en proper, de mensen van de receptie zeer behulpzaam. Er is een shuttle van en naar de luchthaven en van daaruit kan je de light rail naar het centrum nemen. Je bent dan wel bijna een uur onderweg...

Het hotel zag er mooi uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. Eigenlijk zijn wij niet anders gewend van dit hotelketen. De badkamer met wastafel in één kamer (hadden wij niet in de vorige hotels) beviel goed. Wij hadden een kamer voor niet-rokers, maar er hing een vage rokerslucht in de kamer. Met het schaamrood op de kaken probeerde de receptie dit te herstellen. Opgelost middels citroen verfrisser: wellicht toch ontstaan door de kleding van een zware roker vóór ons. De bedden waren perfect en wifi en de beschikbare parkeerruimte waren goed. We hebben door een technische storing een dag zonder wifi gezeten: erg vervelend maar éénmalig. Het raam kon open voor frisse lucht en geluiden uit de natuur: prettig. Het ontbijt was basic (continental breakfast), maar goed genoeg om de dag te beginnen. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Wij zijn hier 6 nachten gebleven. Al met al was het een plezierig verblijf in een rustige omgeving: ik zou hier zeker terugkomen.

Het hotel zag er netjes uit, zowel van buiten als van binnen. De kamer en de badkamer waren klein, maar OK. De overige zaken, zoals wifi en parkeerruimte waren goed. De airco was echter luidruchtig en met het raam open was er veel overlast van het verkeer. Het ontbijt was basic, maar goed verzorgd met dagelijks vers fruit. Het personeel was echter steeds vriendelijk en gaf je een goed thuisgevoel. Het hotel ligt niet ver van de Alderwood mall. Wij zijn hier 3 nachten gebleven. Ondanks de kleine kamer en kleine minpunten zou ik hier zeker terugkomen.

Exactly what you'd expect of the hotel. Basic, but clean. Free basic breakfast and a shuttle to the airport every half hour. If you want to watch TV, there are enough channels. In a nuttshell: a good place to stay a few days or just overnight if you have a flight the next day.

De beeldende Space Needle staat in Seattle Center, twee minuten rijden met de monorail vanuit het centrum. Zowel de trein als de toren zijn in 1962 gebouwd voor de World's Fair. Het Seattle Center biedt opera, ballet en theater, en je vindt er de Key Arena, het Pacific Science Center en het Experience Music Project. Het naburige negen are grote Olympic Sculpture Park zorgt voor een onderbreking. Je hebt er bij de waterkant uitzicht op de Olympic Mountains.

Very nice and modern hotel. Not your standard boring decorations. Would stay here again for sure. Monorail is closeby and takes you right into downtown so no need to find a hotel there. Loved the big walk in shower too. Wonderful overall especially taking into consideration the good price! Loved it.

The hotel is located near the Space needle in the north end of downtown Seattle -- a great location for me, as I was visiting my son who lives in the university neighborhood a short distance away. Walking to popular attractions like Pike's Market would be far, but the hotel provides a shuttle that can be reserved -- they tell me that it fills up fast, […] so be forewarned. I had a car, and they pointed me in the direction of some easily accessible parking. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful -- we counted on them for recommendations for dinner and we were pleased both times. There is a restaurant that adjoins the hotel (accessible from the hotel lobby) that is also fun and friendly, and the food (especially the pizza) was very good. There are quite a few restaurnats in the neighborhood within walking distance. The hotel provides complimentary parking in a secure underground garage; my only complaint was that the spaces were VERY tight -- lucky thing my rental car was so small. I saw several guests struggling to park. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well appointed, with very hip and modern decor. I appreciated that the hotel soaps and shampoos were good quality and provided in wall dispensers -- much more eco-friendly and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit. "Great Location, Clean and Pet Friendly!!"
We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the 'pet friendly' rooms were. There was absolutely no 'hotel' smell anyplace and the rooms were incredibly clean. The beds so comfy, pillows too! I loved the colors, so bright and fun, reminded me of Mardi Gras. They don't charge for bottled water like many others I won't name. They even brought us some extra […] bottles for our corgi. Which by the way was welcomed to walk through the lobby! They offered pet beds, bowls and even treats for our dog! It is within a block and a half from the Space Needle and some great restaraunts close enough to walk to. They have a great restaraunt in the hotel too, great pizza! The parking is free and in a locked garage! We will definately make the Maxwell our new 'home' when we visit Seattle! Great place to stay, no problems at all! Thank you...loved it!!! Lees meer

I love Maxwell hotel!! I've stayed here at least 5 times and everytime it has been more than fantastic! And their new restaurant addition is great! Who doesn't love a bucket of rum ;) definitely recommend this hotel!!

Very clean & comfortable hotel with fridge & microwave in room but no crockery/cutlery to use if you want an easy meal. Handy to Space Needle and monorail into Seattle city also free parking when we stayed. The Maxwell is close to the city center with the momorail close by. The hotel is small and the desk staff was very helpful with everything from providing directions to a few emergency bandaids. Wifi and daily papers are included in the rate. The beds are very comfortable and the decor warm and appealing. Good supply of hot water in the bathroom with rain type shower fixture and Tommy Bahama bath products. Many places to eat are close. "Maxwell Seattle - convenient and great value"
Stayed at Maxwell Hotel for a last minute vacation. The decor is very modern and clean. It is conveniently located next to Seattle Center. The hotel offers free internet, but WIFI was a bit slow. The front desk staff was nice enough to lend us an ethernet cable to connect via cable instead (which was much faster). Although parking was free, it was […] difficult to find parking in the gated garage afte 10 PM (the garage seemed small) as most guests had returned. We got a third floor room with a view of the back parking lot. The room was clean and fairly large. It came with free popcorn, two bottles of water, coffee, mini fridge, DVD player, microwave, and small safe to store valuables. The hotel also had an in door pool and fitness center, unfortunately, we didn't get to use either. Overall, the hotel provides very good value, and it is conveniently located. "Awesome new modern hotel"
This place has everything! Fridge, microwave.....and free popcorn, pool, cupcakes everyday at 230 pm, movies and dvd players, keurig coffee machines, a great pizza restaurant, an espresso bar, free parking. The hotel has a very modern style. Very clean and well kept up. I felt safe and comfortable there. Love that they stay true to the rock and roll theme of the city with their restaurant/bar, The Rock. This hotel was schwanky-cool! The staff was awesome and helpful, way beyond my expectations. Thye bed was the BEST EVER! The shuttle service was perfect to get us to Pikes and the train station. Stayed here last min for a friend's b-day in the neighborhood- LOVE. "Convenience!"
We were going to attend the ballet at McCaw Hall. This was a wonderful location- we enjoyed walking around lower Queen Anne. The hotel was clean and the front desk was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying here and look forward to our next stay which may include an additional restaurant adjoining the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Spacious rooms with good coffeemaking facilities. The rooms are very clean. No carpet on the floor but some wood kind. Parking under the hotel is also free of charge. Very close to the Seattle Center. I can recommend staying at the Maxwell.

"New Year 's Eve...perfect"
Clean, comfortable, modern room. Perfect location for restaurants and bars in Queen Anne, and for watching fireworks from the space needle. It's always nice to have a hotel room with curves in the walls...breaks the monotony of standard "box" rooms.

Best hotel I've ever been able to easily afford. Well appointed room-very hip. This will be the firsy hotel I'll look to stay in whenever I return.
