The water in the shower is all yellow ! We change 2rooms and they are the same. Please upgrade your building condition.

The rooms are a bit old especially the toilet (I think its time for an upgrade) but reasonably clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful. Not sure if there is a better hotel in Ipoh.

Hotel reception were slow to respond to the frequent requests I had to make for towels, shampoo, water etc. The safe did not work after 5 days complaining I gave up. Breakfast good lots of variety. restaurant and bar was very good. Pool OK but needs some repairs. It is the best hotel in the area by far.

The Impiana Hotel in Ipoh is conveniently located close to town and nice restaurants. The hotel facilities are good; however, the service is very slow and somehow the three times I have been there the staff has absolutely no sense of urgency. It took me 45 minutes checking in and about 30 checking out. One other inconvenience regarding the hotel is […] that they have functions in the lobby, meaning that if you happen to arrive during one of those events, you will not even have a place to seat while you wait about 45 minutes to be checked in. The hotel reception, bar and restaurant is well presented although the rooms are a little tired and need to be refurbished. The carpets had old cigarette burns. I was not offered a no smoking room and although the room did not actually smell the presence of an ashtray and the carpet burns confirmed its smoking status. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. […] Staff were generally very courteous. Lifts were old but functional. Poor choice of english TV unless you only want Disney or CNN. No HBO or Star Movies. Room rate did not include food but both the evening buffet and breakfast were satisfactory and at a reasonable cost. The biggest drawback to this hotel is its location. Dont expect to eat just outside the front door here. The hotel is on a main road and the Ipoh shopping centre (and hence the food areas) are half a mile away. However, pedestrians cannot turn right at the nearby roundabout (rotary) and hence there is a need to walk about a mile detour in order to by pass the roundabout. The road is just too busy to cross and in the heat that can feel too far. It is an absolute joke! You could try a two minute taxi ride but what a waste of time. I'd reserved a non-smoking room - was given a foul smelling smoker's room at check in. Returned to desk, 15 minutes later taken to Reject Room #2 - no, I will NOT sleep in a room with water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and a brown stain on one of the pillow cases. Return (with desk clerk) to the lobby, 10 minutes later we head to Reject Room #3 […] (filthy sheets and no towels). Repeat twice more (dirty linens) before finally accepting the least scary room (I already know the other two hotels in Ipoh are full, and sadly, worse than this one). Passcode for internet connection (bought at the front desk won't work. Front desk wants me to 'wait an hour and try again.' Nope - can't. Back downstairs, politely insist on a new code, return to my room. Get online, but the wired connection is less than 2Mbps download speed. Wireless won't pull an IP address. Stayed this way for my entire, miserable two week stay. Room wasn't cleaned on 4 separate days. Wallpaper peeling (foot square chunks), bathroom ceiling stained, carpet stained, entire floor smells of mold. AC had no thermostat (it was either on or off), two out of the four outlets I could find were not working. Breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay - food was good, service fine. Dinner buffet (tried only once) was bad enough to not repeat in spite of the convenience. Lees meer

这个酒店太差，可以用INN 来形容，根本配不上4星的HOTEL。酒店隔音效果更是差，隔壁一个3岁的小孩哭了一晚，根本无法入睡！这个是INN，不是HOTEL，比INDIAN的酒店还差
