Heerlijk hotel, mooie kamer en super lekker zwembad. De locatie ligt ver weg van de drukte rondom san juan. Bestemmingen als regenwoud en liguillo beach zijn met de auto goed bereikbaar (ruim een uur). Mooie omgeving om lekker rond te rijden. Hotel biedt ook voldoende om een paar dagen lekker te relaxen.

Bungalow-hotel, aan zuid-oostkant van Puerto Rico. Helft van de bungalows ligt direct (ca.20 m) aan de oceaan met palmenstrand. De bungalows met zicht op zee zijn wat duurder. This resort is good value for those on a budget. Tucked away at the southeast tip of the island, it enjoys a quiet and not over-developed location. The views along the coast from Ruta Panoramica approaching the resort are fantastic. Our large, clean room overlooked the beach, so it was wonderful to wake up, open the curtains, and see swaying palm trees, […] frothing surf, and hammocks. It's a shame that a chain link fence separates the resort from the beach and slighly spoils the view. The infinity pool is lovely, and although it was full of kids every day (we visited over the Easter weekend), it is open until 9pm and empties out at night allowing for some quieter moonlit swimming. It would be even more pleasant if the music blaring from the bar was better quality, but that is very subjective of course! The staff were all very young, but so helpful and friendly, and patient with our lack of Spanish. Almost all of them speak good English. We had a bit of trouble one evening at the bar getting across the fact that we wanted rum in our pina coladas.... which left both us and the staff thoroughly confused! This is definitely a family resort, so not exactly a secluded romantic getaway. The restaurant is full of famlilies with kids/babies, and the menu and atmosphere is geared towards them. The evening menu is a little limited: generally over-salted and unhealthy dishes, with 'green salad' (actually just lettuce and tomato) as the only vegetarian option. Breakfasts were nice though. I remember when the area was just dirt and now it has come along way. I must say that this hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The staff at the front desk seemed somewhat young and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place if you're bringing children if you're seeking fun outside of swimming at the pool/beach. The game room consists of a tv […] and an x-box with kinect. There are a couple cheap play sets scattered around the resort that were picked out from toys r us aimed at 1-2 year old but that's about it. The gym was small and had 3 treadmills, one which actually worked and a multi-body cable machine. The restaurant service was the highlight of our trip. The food was excellent and hands down the quality was the best. The orders took long (about 30 minutes) to come out (I ate 4 times there) but at least you know they make their food fresh and you know that you'll love the taste every time. Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for a get away with family or with a special someone. No closeby entertainment so is perfect for just realxing at the pool, eating and sleeping. No coolers or BBQ's allowed. Beach is pretty and close to the rooms, but too rough for swimming. Rooms are clean. The view from the resort was of the ocean. The restaurant was locate off the pool and had a view of the ocean as well. The view was in credible, just beautiful.

It is the first hotel where we were that there is no need even to eat out because the room has a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, can you bring stuff to eat. Besides the restaurant food is divine and the price is moderate. Definitely return to stay at this hotel again.

My husband and I were at MaunaCaribe for three nights. The ocean is truly wonderful for swimming but spending time on the beach takes an effort -- bring your own chair and/or buy a beach towel at the front desk for $15. There's a chain link fence between the rooms and the beach; the gate is padlocked at night. Front desk staff were well trained, nice […] and helpful, and the fellow on staff overnight was excellent. Maid service was minimal. Restaurant service was incredibly slow -- perhaps just a bad night., but we didn't take a chance on a second hour-long wait. The most frustrating things: we had no hot water throughout our visit, in spite of letting management know about the problem on our first day. The weather was so hot that showering in tepid water wasn't too bad, actually, but one does expect functioning hot water. Also the air conditioner was insanely loud. With all this, I still enjoyed our time there. Sunrise and sunset skies were gorgeous, drinks were good, wifi at the pool area worked fine and the ocean was perfect for swimming. Lees meer

Beautiful pool and ocean. Rustic accommodations with noisy air conditioning and barely adequate bathroom (ancient stall shower, crookedly mounted countertop). Maid service was minimal. Narrow sand beach with a fair amount of trash. On-site restaurant had decent food but nothing special, with very slow service and loud music. Not many other restaurants […] or activites nearby. The staff was unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Our room key card, didn't work and had to be re-programmed 6 times throughout our entire stay. Asked for a wake up call, and never got it. At the resturant, ordered a steak and 2 hours later it came, cold and so very rare couldn't eat it. Toilet broke on day two. No WIFI internet is allowed in the rooms. […] You can only access the internet in the lobby. The beach was terriblely dirty and had to cross over a chain link fince to get to it. Lees meer

MaunaCaribe is a great hotel inn. It was beyond my expectations. The service, the cleanliness, the staff, the restaurant (food/alcohol) was all amazing. The inn is beautiful, breathtaking views of the ocean in Maunabo. I recommend this to anyone and everyone. Is great for couples, families with small children, and friends in need of sharing a room. […] I had an ocean view and it was grogeous waking up to the sun and hearing teh crashing of the waves at night. The only downfall is that the gates to inn are closed by 10pm so you will need to contact security to let you in, but besides that I have no complaints. Next year when I stay again at MaunaCaribe Parador I will invest in all inclusive package. Buying food at the restaurant really adds up. The infinti pool is breath taking and pretty big. Went there afraid that maybe it wasn't gonna be good, to our suprise, it was better than a hotel, the place is perfect for relaxing, spending quality time with the kids and its also perfect for a.romantic get away. I highly recommend it, I don't know about.the food there, because we ate at the local restaurants where the.food was excellent.

The Inn is fairly new and very open air set up with the ocean right there. You can take long walks on the beach and go to a light house which is very nice. The food is over all good. We had breakfast included so we could try other places to eat some times for dinner. It did take a while to drive to see other sites. Very nice and quiet place located by the sea. However, it gets crowded over weekend. Two rows of buildings, one seafront, one just behind it (note: hotels.com does not give options to choose room type and seafront is little more expensive). Easy beach access, beach is very nice for swimming. Many nice restaurants in the neighborhood, couple within walking […] distance. Accommodating front desk staff. However, there was couple issues. We had to change room twice. First had no hot water (broken heater), and A/C fan never turned off in the second. Cleaning lady was very annoying at the first day (kinda of fun anyway). If you are looking for a place to disconnect from a hectic lifestyle and relax, this is it. Peaceful and quiet with all the simple amenities needed to spend some time away from home in comfort. Everything was very nice. Front desk was ready for us, rooms were nice, pool was great. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but food in their restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Only a couple other restaurants in immediate area. Beach front was beautiful although waves made it a better place to watch or wade, not swim. Nice hammocks. if you re looking for night life and disco noise / this is not the right place for you. If you want to unwind for a few days in calm surroundings / I can only recommend this place - you can hear the Ocean Surf at night / great way to fall asleep. The hotel is located next to a nature reserve with a 3 miles long beach / if you re lucky you can watch […] sea turtles hatching eggs on the beach. Next to the Hotel is a Seafood + Steak restaurant called "Aqua Mar" serving authentic local Seafood - fantastic food. The only disadvantage / it s a relatively long trip to SJU Airport (about 1 hour). The Hotels staff went out of their way to help and assist in every possible way. Pros: las camas son bastantes cómodas, y las habitaciones están limpias. Contras: El aire acondicionado es bastante ruidoso, y las normas del hotel demasiado estrictas: no se puede llevar ningún tipo de comida a las habitaciones, ni tampoco bebidas. Avisan de que se puede penalizar con algun cobro si no sigues las normas.

Camere belle, grandi con frigo e forno a micronde. Le camere sono pulite la piscina è bella. La spiaggia è selvaggia ma non si riesce a fare il bagno a causa delle alte onde.
