Hotel is perfect, very clean, comfortable and up to date.Paying for parking after booking a hotel is a bigno no for me so disappointed we had to pay to park car when staying at the hote.If you are going to teh O2 for a show be warned unless you booked a table in the restaurant you will be going Hungry as theer are no food outlets around the area, so […] that be be a downer on your evening.Also aftre the show there is one bar around (besides the hotel bar) which is pretty lifeless.So although staff were friendlya nd teh actual hotel is flawless I wouldnt stay again as nothing else around the area and I mean nothing else around...... Lovely Hotel, Luas outside the front door, Underground Pay Parking, The O2 arena is 50 yards away, surrounding area is very derelict and I wouldnt fancy walking the streets at night here.

I have stayed in the Gibson before so this was a return visit. I had booked a double room as I am quite tall & like to stretch out. Because I was working & traveling I arrived late to the hotel (about 9.30pm), Check-in was fine but I have two issues, firstly I booked a double but was given a twin room, I was too tired to go back down & cause a fuss, […] but I was disappointed. Secondly the breakfast arrangements were not described to me at all, I'm still not sure if I had breakfast included in my booking or even if the hotel served breakfast. Those two issues aside the hotel was very pleasant, definitely the place to stay if you are attending a concert tin the O2, or an event in the National Convention Centre. I stay weekly in hotels in the area & the room are among the nicest, the hotel is a little bit outside town, a 5 minute taxi ride would have you in the city centre though so its not miles out. Oh, if you have a car the parking is €14 per night, in all the other hotels I stay in the parking is included. Overall it was a nice hotel though, I will stay there again. Lees meer

I enjoyed my stay, originally I was to have a friend share the room so booking was for twin. I ended up with room as single, but did note that it had been prepared with two occupants in mind. Ther was a couch converted for use for 2nd person. Had my friend shared the room with me, I dont think either of us would have been impressed with the idea of […] using a bed couch. For me on my own or use as a double, the room was perfect and decor was modern and tasty. (twin use a little questionable) The stay in general was great, I would use again when visiting Dublin. This hotel is a must for anyone going to the O2! The Lias line is right outside the door to bring you further into the city centre also. Hotel staff are friendly & helpful, the restaurant is excellent & the rooms are clean & modern. We will definitely be back!

i enjoyed my stay there, the hotel was lovely and clean and very friendly. my only problem would be the selection of bar food didn't really cater for everyone.

Very nice hotel and handy for the Point. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends.

Room - Bright, balcony, comfy was very good. The colour of the cupboards look like something from Jysk. Food in restaurant - Did not match the standard of the hotel! Bar - Very prof staff!

I recently stayed in the Gibson with my 65 year old mother, and we were both delighted with this hotel, which would normally be hard to please 2 ladies of such different ages. The hotel was very clean, fresh, bright and comfortable. The bonus of the Luas stop right outside the front door was so convenient. We literally could hop on and off into town […] at our leisure. Hotel food is normally not great, but we ate in the bar on Friday night and it was really lovely. There was a lovely atmosphere all evening with a trendy after work type of cliental. After been at an event all day on Saturday we returned for some drinks in the bar on Saturday night. Again great service in a relaxing atmosphere – overall a great weekend. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The décor of the hotel was very modern, minimal and clean. Not fuzzy at all. I wonder what it will be like after 5 years of wear & tear. However I would strongly recommend it as a Dublin city hotel. I will definitely be staying there in the future. Lees meer

First Time in Dublin for St Patricks Day and this hotel made my experience even better. The location is literally 5-10(MAX) by taxi to the city centre or you can catch a tram right in front of the hotel!! Added bonus that your on the docklands so nice walks on riverside with nice (historic boats) and lights reflecting on the water. Cleanliness and […] comfort of the hotel is fantastic, everything is open and modern. Everything you expect from a business hotel. Staff are friendly and provide great advice where to go around the city (always up for chat). Breakfast has a nice self service range (black/white puddings are great!) If theres anything i would improve would be the shower curtain in the bathroom - needs to be a tad longer to go all around the bar AtoZ, to preven water splashing everywhere on the floor. BUT this is an absolute minimum and did not deter my rating for this hotel and nor should it be the final decider if you choose to stay here. My rating of 4 stars is a harsh one as it should be 4.5 stars as i believe as theres always rooms for improvement ;) Enjoy Lees meer

Very nice and modern hotel with large comfortable rooms, nice and clean. We were visiting Dublin and got excellent recomendations for places to go. Very serviceminded hotel staff

Just got back from a fantastic weekend in Dublin. Hotel was top-notch and far enough away from all the night-time hustle and bustle to allow you a long lie-in. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, just take plenty spending money for the fabulous hotel bar. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough; good links to city centre - 2 stops on tram (LUAS) […] which stops at the hotel door, a few strides past the tram stop and you are in the o2!!!! Can't wait to go back to Dublin and will definitely book this hotel when I do. Lees meer

Lovely hotel,very modern and excellent parking,many unusual features,escalator fom car-parking with the greenery draping down the wall. The Gibson is a great hotel. We spent 2 nights there and it met all expectations. The aircoach dropped us outside and we were checked in immediatley even though it was 10am ! The tram line is bang outside the doors and so easy to use. We were a bit unsure that we would be located too far out of the city but with the ease of the tram this wasnt the case […] at all. We didnt have any meals so cant comment on the food. We did go to the o2 and couldnt have chosen a better location once again. Highly recommended for a stay in Dublin and would definatley return !!! Very modern hotel, convenient to the O2 and Luas red line. The window in the bathroom is strange though!

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights at Gibson in Dec. We stayed in an executive room, which was big and the balcony was really nice. The other hotels I've stayed at in Dublin for the same price had puny, stuffy rooms. So I was well impressed with our Gibson room. The decor was modern and slick. The only […] downsides are: 1) it's next to O2 so make sure there's no one playing when you're staying cause it could be noisy, 2) you have to take the luas to get into the city which can be a bit annoying when it's cold. This was our first time staying in the Gibson and we really enjoyed it. Great value for money and the location was good. We stayed on a night when there was no concert on in the O2 so it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. I was attending a meeting at the hotel the following day, where people were attending from all over the country and […] everyone said how easy it was to get their either by car or public transport. The luas stops literally right outside the front door! We ate in the restaurant the night before. While the menu was fairly predictable and not as adventurous as I thought it would be given the surroundings, the quality of the food and the service was spot on. The Gibson is a great hotel. Perfectly located for the O2 (it's next door). There is a tram stop just outside the front door making it very convenient for getting into the city. The room was very comfortable, clean and a nice size. As it is out of the centre there is no noise so got a good nights sleep. Definately recommend it

The luas tram is on the door step, super handy! Staff very helpful, lovely rooms and extra comfy beds! Would definitely go back again and recommend to everyone.

Booked for a visit to a nearby exhibition. Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Will use again.

excellent hotel to stay in if you are going to any gigs or shows in the o2 arena in dublin you are less than 30seconds from the o2 which is ideal .

We spent a night in the Gibson Hotel in one of their executive suites. This was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and was great value for money. Everything was spotless, very comfortable, staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend, and return!

We really enjoyed our brief stay here! Although it's right beside the Dublin Wheel it's quite hard to find the way in. Once you do, the architecture is on a grand scale but the welcome is warm! This is a really modern hotel which exudes quality in terms of architecture, interior design and comfort. The staff are very pleasant, atmosphere very relaxed and comes highly recommended. Room rates vary considerably depending on whats on in the adjacent O2. So, pick a quieter night to stay here. Nice and modern hotel in a very industrialized area. Reception is on the 3rd floor. The hotel is a maze on the bedroom floors. So many rooms! The room was nice and large in size. As was the bathroom. Entire back wall of room was windows looking across to empty, unfinished areas of the building. Free wireless internet, just need a login from the desk. […] The tram stops right in front of the hotel as the last stop. stayed here one night while attending concert at 02. very convenient location, just across the courtyard. lovely rooms. didn't have the breakfast as thought is quite expensive. ate in the bar, thai cuisine, very good. alcohol prices average for dublin. luas stops right outside.

Staff were very good..Transportation from the airport via Airlink stops right outside the hotel at O2 and the cost is 6 Euro. On the other side of the hotel is the light rail system the take you into town. I was very satisfied with the transportation. The hotel is only one year old, the shower was great and the room was very quiet. I recommend the Gibson. […] There are no eating facilities near so plan accordingly. The Gibson Hotel was outstanding. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and modern. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were quick. We walked to central are of Dublin several times, and other times we took the tram which stops in front of the hotel. It was easy to get to the center […] of town. Fresh and new vibe to the hotel. Minimalist decoration in hallways made it a bit maze-like but room was great. Both bedroom and bathroom were extremely spacious and the huge shower was amazing! All staff we met with were very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay there again...
