Fleming's Deluxe Hotel Wien-City in Wenen

Het is een mooi hotel, echter voor gasten die aparte bedden aanvragen geen mogelijkheid. De gedeeltelijk afgesloten badkamer is een compleet glazen douche waardoor je je medereiziger volledig kan zien. Dit is niet echt privacy. Tevens verwacht ik meer van een 5 sterren hotel.

Well designed room, with glass shower gives you everything you would like to have in a hotel room: silence, space, good bathroom equipment etc. Room was perfectly clean. Ask for a breakfast at your room: good value for money. Personnel are happy to serve you.

Keurig hotel, nette kamers, goede douche en een goed ontbijt. Vers fruit en sappen. Diverse eiergerechten op bestelling. Twee nette sauna's die volgens de beschrijving van 17.00 uur tot 23.00 uur in bedrijf zouden moeten zijn. Enkele avonden was 1 of beide sauna's te vroeg uit gedaan of helemaal niet aangezet. Badjassen waren bij de receptie af te halen […] echter geen slippers of iets dergelijks. Later in de week nogmaals om slippers gevraagd en 1 paar, in plaats van 2, gekregen. Waren op!! Shampoo en doucheschuim nagenoeg dagelijks onvoldoende of niet aanwezig. In de sauna wordt alcohol geserveerd. Naar de mening van schrijver is dat, ook voor een vijf sterren hotel, ongepast. THis hotel is very nice. we booked a deluxe room, including WIFI and free minibar. The hospitality of the hotel started with the check in and lasted until after the check out. Very friendly people that give you the impression that you are at home. Nice spacious rooms, quiet and at a very conveniet location. Had a really nice stay in this hotel. Really close to the U2 stop of Rathaus so really easy to get around. Also only 10 minute walk into the main shopping areas. Hotel room was nice and clean.

This hotel was recommended by a colleague who had stayed on business. We were in town for a ball and to meet friends. The location is five minutes walk from the Ring and by a tram line and an U Bahn station. The rooms are good sized and nicely fitted out. some might find the glass shower cubicle in the bedroom a little lacking in privacy, others will […] find it romantic. The bar and restaurant are pleasantly contemporary and there are numerous cafés and restaurants nearby. My only complaint woud be about the Wi Fi access. This is complimentary, but in order to access it a complex 8 character username and an equally complex 8 character password must be entered and then re entered each time the wi fi disconnects if a device has not been in use for 15 minutes. The service at Flemings is truly excellent - the front desk and breakfast staff ultra helpful. It's in a great location - fantastic walks down to the Museums Quarter and also to the cool neighbourhood around Lindenstrasse. Breakfast was terrific. Our stay was brief so I don't think we got to experience the neighborhood to the fullest. Overall, the staff was very helpful. At our arrival (day after NYE), many of the rooms were still being cleaned (likely due to later than expected check outs) so they found us another room to expedite our check in. Unfortunately, that room wreaked of smoke (when […] it was a non-smoking room). The layout of the room was wonderful. Very clean and a cool set up. The shower was exposed so if you're traveling with other people, be sure you're comfortable with that. Also, the bed is rock hard. Overall the stay was great and the location was very conveniently located just off the Inner Ring (tram 2) but I think we were dealing with a few other factors out of the norm that could have thrown off an otherwise great hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Fleming's Deluxe Wien. The only thing that was a problem was breakfast, where they didnt seem to have enough room for everyone to have breakfast at the same time, so we spent a while wandering round trying to find a table, then were eventually guided to a room quite a long way away from the main breakfast buffet area. […] This meant missing out on some of the excellent items on offer in the breakfast! Though to be fair once we were seated, the staff were very efficient and attentive. Other than that, it was great and I would definitely recommend the hotel. NB - the double rooms have a glass walled shower cubicle in the middle of the room, so do make sure that you know the person you are staying with very well indeed! Lees meer

We stayed here on our honeymoon in December 2012 and it was fantastic. Location was perfect. There was a gym and sauna area too which was really nice when we were tired of sightseeing. Only down side to this was the gym had no air conditioning so was baking hot! Food, drinks, staff, room... everything was wonderful. Interesting shower too :-)

This modern hotel was exceptionally good value and within a 10 to 15 minute walk of most of the major tourist attractions in the centre of Vienna. The buffet breakfast (included in the nightly rate) was excellent. The staff were efficient and friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here for 6 nights. It is conveniently situated within reasonable walking distance of the centre of Vienna, or by tram or U-Bahn - both close to the hotel. The staff were excellent; courteous, friendly and charming staff in the restaurant each morning. We would have no hesitation in returning here in the future.

Never used the mini-bar because the fridge was out of order and despite repeated complaints it wasn't repaired (so much for the free mini-bar). Some of the light bulbs in the bathroom were not working and again they were not replaced during our stay. Also we had a blocked sink (not a good indication of cleanliness) which however was unblock. The hotel is very nice, well located and staff is fantastic. Only issue is that the rooms seem to be designed for couples with a large glass shower in the room (rather than in a separate bathroom).

This hotel was booked for a surprise birthday weekend for my partner and proved to be almost perfect. The hotel is in an excellent location being very close to all the main attractions and underground. For instance a walk to the Habsburg Palace took only 10 minutes. Whats even better is that it was included in the price for the room unlike many hotels in Vienna. The room was superb. We chose a deluxe room which was well worth it for a small extra fee and included a free mini bar. The bed was extremely comfortable with ever so cosy seperate his and her duvets. The bathroom also had his and her basins together with a see through shower which quickly steamed up for anyone bashful. The only irritation was the free computer which we needed to use to book our return flight this was very difficult to use as it didn't have a full size keyboard and lacked a mouse. There was also an irritating message on the screen which we couldn't remove. We also booked the meal and concert at the Kemlon through Expedia for the first night which I can thoroughly recommend. The meal was excellent with a wonderful desert and the concert was very enjoyable. Even the small bits of opera was bearable. Lees meer

Whilst the hotel is in excellent condition and in an excellent position it is entirely unsuitable for a twin share arrangement. The main issue being that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a transparent glass wall looking into the shower. As I was travelling with a friend, it meant that one of us had to leave the room whenever the other needed […] to use the bathroom. If you are travelling on your own or with a partner who doesn't mind being exposed whilst in the shower the hotel is fine but otherwise it is too difficult. Lees meer

Friendly staff, but no place to wash clothes. Not paying 3 Euros just for a pair of socks which were the prices from hotel and not willing to catch bus to do washing. Ended up hand washing in room and using coat hangers and air conditioner to dry clothes. Showers a bit unsure. Very clean , quiet, good central location - easy to walk to anywhere you probably want to go to. Staff all very efficient / helpful. The breakfasts are superb. Lots of good reasonably priced places for dinner nearby. You'll find cheaper places to stay but they won't be as good as this place !

I spent with my wife four nights in Flemings Deluxe Hotel Wien City in December. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with free minibar and city view. We were first given a room on the ground floor with a view on a stone wall. The clerk insisted that our reservation was to a Superior room, but believed me when I again showed our Hotels.com reservation. As […] there were no rooms available in the correct category, we spent the first night in another room with a view to the hotel's own wall. Next day, I had to negotiate again to get the room we had booked. The room was much better than the earlier ones, and the view was magnificent. However, there were no bathrobes, slippers, or complementary toiletries, although these were listed in Hotels.com room description. The clerk told bathrobes and slippers are only available upon request, and we got them for two nights. Toiletries were delivered only in the last evening. Upon departure, the clerk asked us to pay for the minibar, and I had to remind her that the minibar was free. When we checked out our luggage, the clerk tried to give us an additional bag that was not ours. Besides the trouble with the clerk, the hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Good location. Very clean. The are very with tall ceilings stylish but - unless you have both been working out - you may not love the see through showers in the middle of the room ! The bathroom in the bedroom thing is a bit gimmicky. Will keep going back though .

This is a great hotel, with modern, spacious and clean rooms. The clear glass shower cubicle in our room was certainy a novelty! With a few minutes walk of the Rathaus and 15 minutes walk to the centre of the Innerstadt the hotel is ideally located with the Rathaus metro station and Nr 2 tram a minute away. We loved the breakfast buffet too. Free WiFi […] helped. The only minus point would be that cleaning staff entered our room despite the Do not disturb sign up, but the manager told us they would be changing cleaning companies soon and hopefully the problem would go away. This was a great hotel! The room was excellent. We had a room at the back of the hotel that was very quiet and it had a great window that you could sit in and look out over the city. Interesting room set-up... the shower and bath tub that is only separated from the bedroom by glass definitely suited my husband and me but not sure if anybody who isn't a couple (yet) will be happy about this? Very friendly and helpful staff who answered queries quickly and helpfully. WIFI in room was temperamental but not sure if that was to do with specific room location, still managed to use as needed.
