Unique Art Madero in Buenos Aires

Lekker hotel, goede ligging, maar dient hier en daar wel wat beter onderhouden te worden. We hadden een kamer op de 9de verdieping met goed uitzicht over de stad. Als je op bv de 4e zit, is je uitzicht en vrijheidsgevoel wel wat minder. Ligt net aan de rand van Puerto Madero.

Good choice

Great place to stay if visiting the Centro and/or the Puero Madero sections of Buenos Aires. Many bus lines are nearby. The hotel rate is significantly lower than competitors. The facility is clean, safe and modern..

Clean but sparce room, although the bed was above avage confort. Lobby seems unfinished and reception more like an open space office. Reception overbooked so my colleague was reassigned to another hotel. Directions for bank machine and restaurants were inaccurate and thus caused confusion. Excellent ! Buenos Aires is the most beautiful city in Latin America and is the only city in the whole world that REALLY DOESNT SLEEP !!! Great food and entertainment and great shopping !!!

Very close to Puerto Madero. Needs urgent fixing on small things on the bathroom. Please, normal tables to the breakfast room.

Good localization, but Hotel in not good condition.

Looks like everything in the hotel is from an Ikea reject plant. Things are all white and look trending but most furniture is unusable. Chair at my desk was a small stool with no back. the desk came to my neck almost. AC unit didn't work some of the time and it was almost 100 degrees outside. No ac in the lobby either. The Unique Hotel looks and sounds much better on their website than in person. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the lack of AC and the fact that no one offers to help you with your luggage. The only place with air conditioning is your room, which is small and has hardly any room for your clothes or luggage. You are supplied with two towels […] daily, for a double room, we asked for extras every day. The towels are old, ripped and grey. Bathroom tiles are moldy, lightbulbs are not working or missing. No high air condition available @lobby and room. I no recommend this hotel at all

We were pleased with the service and with the room. However, the air conditioner would not cool the room and it was too hot all night long. Breakfast was very good and the staff were courteous and very helpful. we would stay again but the air conditioning needs to be improved.

The only good thing about staying at this hotel was that I knew I would get to leave. The rooms are dirty their recent renovation looked like two year olds did it. The breakfast was the worst food I have had down here in South America. The internet which costs money is managed through the browser causing problems with phone and tablet wireless because […] they use apps not browsers to connect to the internet. Also their air conditioning unit was full of mold and probably hadn't been cleaned or serviced for over a year. Neither the sink nor the tub drained properly leaving filth and making you wish you wore sandals in the shower. Finally, the description of the services available the beds and other things were completely inaccurate and unreliable. I was miserable staying here and could not wait to leave. Very well located, within walking distance of several restaurants and plaza Dorrego. Clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast on the top floor with panoramic view. Only one computer in the lobby for Internet access. WiFi is NOT free, they charge USD8 per hour. The towels are over-used and could easily be replaced. Very nice lobby area. The hotel was clean and well decorated. The hotel is in a good location for accessing San Telmo and Puerto Moderna neighborhoods on foot. The breakfast was excellent and was a full breakfast. The breakfast area is located on the top floor of the hotel and has a sweeping view of the area. The staff was very helpful.

hotel was nice and clean, room was a bit smaller than described and did not proveide all the amenities described but breakfast was great and the neighbourhood nice and safe

A little on the spartan side, the rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a room upgrade and the furnishings lacked a desk, a comfortable chair - but it had all the basics - king bed, bedside tables, TV cabinet, fridge. Breakfast is basic but good enough to start your day. The neighbourhood is a bit sketchy but two blocks to the south is the fashionable […] Puerto Madero where there are more restaurants than you'll ever need - no shortage of choice. To the north is San Telmo - don't miss the Mercado San Telmo on Sunday (only) - it's great for browsing is nothing else. The staff at Unique Hotel Madero is accommodating and friendly - especially Patrick who you can find at the front desk. Ask him anything, he is more than happy to assist. Great hotel, location! Freindly staff and yummy breakfast. The only thing they need is another computer for guests, almost imposible with only one to access to the Internet!

The hotel was clean. The rooms were not anything special for a 4 star hotel and I am very happy that we got the place at a sale price or I would have been very upset with the quality. The pool was empty and the exercise room isn't even worth mentioning. The breakfast was the same everyday. Cereal, scrambled eggs, pastries, meat, cheese and apples. No […] change to the menu. The area around the hotel was ok & safe and most things were withing walking distance. The nearest metro stop was about a 10min brisk walk. Handy location, near St Telmo markets and all fun nightlife and the new dockside restaurants, within easy walking distance.

We read reviews on TripAdvisor that made us hesitate about this hotel, but we found a great bargain of a deal, so we decided to stay there, not expecting much. In this regard we were pleasantly surprised. Don't expect 4* standards - I think it was more around 3*. A lot of the things their website mentions either don't exist or are not available: no […] bathrobes, no turndown service, the pool was "closed for repairs", the concierge was poor, the bellman practically non-existent and the breakfast buffet was basic. Other things you'd expect of a 4* hotel, such as room service, didn't exist either. The quality of the decor was superficial and deteriorating. If I has paid 4* prices and been staying there on business, this would have been very disappointing. This all said, the reason I was there was because I was on vacation and the price we found was comparable with 1* and 2* hotels. In this sense, I was satisfied. Lees meer

The hotel was average. The staff was great.

He let us check in early with no extra charge, gave us a room with a view, lots of windows, but that made it hot and in Argentina you need your room key to activate all of the power, including ac. Therefore the little ac unit couldn't pump out enough to cool the room even with the thick drapes. Greta value for the low price though.

I had reserved a room for 1 person vs 2 at the same price - big mistake. I was assigned the smallest room I've ever been in with no table, nowhere to unpack but the bed. However, the staff relocated me to a great room that was more than adequate.

A estadia em si foi péssima, o hotel não tem boas intalações. A respeito da banheira, ela alaga todo o quarto. O café da manhã nem se fala, se você exige uma qualidade razoável no café da manhã, com opções de frios, sucos, e bolos, não vá, pois neste hotel só tem croissant (sem recheio algum), leite, café e suco (nem Tang é, mas é de pó instantâneo). […] Sem contar que a Argentina está em decadência, péssimos lugares para comprar, e tudo é literalmente absurdamente caro. O hotel no geral é de regular para bom, o atendimento é muito satisfatório, todos os funcionários fazem de tudo para ajudar e assessorar os hóspedes. Entretanto, a localização não é em Porto madero é em San Telmo, a rua e os entornos são puquíssimos iluminados a noite o que dá a sensação de perigoso. Al hotel le falta mantenimiento, su ventaja es su excelente ubicación cerca de Puerto Madero.

Adorei a localizaçao . Os funcionarios que atendem no periodo diurno, muitos solicitos e simpaticos. Ja o pessoal do noturno nao tao simpaticos.No geral tive uma otima acomodaçao. Ah, por ser um hotel que tem um publico de sua grande maioria de brasileiros, deveria dispor de algum canal de tv brasileiro.

Hotel muito bom, bem perto da faculdade PUC e perto dos restaurantes. Ao lado do bairro San Telmo, que foi o bairro que mais gostei. No geral o hotel é muito bom, só o recepcionista da noite que não era muito amigável, mas no mais, voltaria a me hospedar neste hotel tranquilamente.

El hotel es agradable, con buen gusto y cómodo. En la habitación que yo estuve (una triple) el baño era amplio y lo mantenían limpio. El único problema fue que el bidé tenía una pérdida de agua importante al usarse, y a pesar de haber reclamado tres veces que lo arreglaran, nunca lo hicieron. además el desagote de la bañera era insuficiente y se juntaba […] agua en contacto con la cañería, cosa que me pareció anti higiénica. La ubicación no es la mejor de la ciudad pero nosotras fuimos a un congreso que tuvo lugar en Puerto Madero así que estuvo muy bien. Muito boa a estadia, a localização não é muito boa, mas é perto do centro e das principais ruas da cidade, bem movimentadas.

Debi pedir toallas de mano, y secador de pelo. La calefaccion era deficiente y el costo de internet excesivamente caro (usd14) no habia free wifi ni en las zonas comunes. No volveria a ir

Agradable. El hotel se encuentra cerca de todo. Les falta preaparacion y vocacion de servicio a la gente que atiende en la recepcion. El desayuno deja que desear. En lineas generales bueno y lo recomendaria

Al llegar al hotel, nos comunican que esta sobrevendido, y nos derivan a otro (distente 5 km., en hora pico, lo que nos demando excesivo tiempo en poder llegar. Esto, nos causo llegar a trade a una cita. Deben anticipar estas situaciones.

Solamente estuve muy pocas horas, pero el servicio contratado dice que la habitación incluía desayuno (un tilde verde grande). En el hotel no reconocen eso y No te lo dan. Según ellos dentro de esa tarifa no hay desayuno.

Serviço foi satisfatório, todos os funcionários me atenderam bem, em grande parte em bom português. Apesar de fazer um upgrade do quarto no check-in, não consegui que o café-da-manhã fosse incluído. Infelizmente o banheiro estava com um cheiro forte de esgoto que permaneceu por 2 dias da estadia. Só no último dia o problema foi resolvido. E o chuveiro […] não é dos melhores, sou alto e tive dificuldade de tomar banho. Quarto amplo e localização ótima, entre San Telmo e Puerto Madero. Recomendo mas o preço acabou ficando um pouco caro pelo que foi disponibilizado. Melhor negociar antes. Lees meer

El servicio de internet tiene un cobro adicional, por 12 horas querian cobrar 15 dolares y no estoy de acuerdo, si uno va muchas veces solo a dormir a los hoteles, entonces vas a usar el internet 1 o 2 horas... debería ser gratis. Otros huespedes tambien se llevaron la noticia de pagar por el internet cuando en otros hoteles el servicio es gratuito, […] asi que no soy el único que se llevó una decepción por este motivo. Hotel al estilo business, con la cordialidad justa de este tipo de hoteles y con lo necesario para una cómoda estancia. La habitación que recibimos fue generosa en el espacio y silenciosa, limpia pero sin lujos que se pueden llegar a ver en otros hoteles 4 estrellas. En general, estuvimos más que conformes con la experiencia.

Es ya la 5 vez que me trasladan a otro hotel de la cadena siempre con el mismo speech y ahora la tarifa no incluye desayuno
