"Very accessible"

"Close to our business location & restaurants"
Everything was great except for the check-out. I had already paid for the rooms in full when I booked the reservation for 2 rooms on the same credit card; yet, the young lady that checked me out took more the 20 minutes initially stating I needed another credit card just in case if any amenites were used or the room was damaged just for my room only. […] I told her I used the same card for both rooms & again everything was paid for. She finally printed out a $0.00 receipt after other guests were waiting to check out. The room was very comfortable. The staff was great. Only complaint is the heater/air conditioner in room VERY noisy day and night. Loud enough to awaken us at night. If you mistakenly choose South Cockrell Hill road instead of North Cockrell Hill road you will see one of the poorest and scariest neighborhoods of the Dallas area. Upon correcting the address we drove north for 7 miles through the hood and passed into an industrial area and finally the commercial area near I35 exit. The heat did not work at night. […] I was given a handicap accessible room and the tiled entranceway and bathroom floor was not very clean. Really a bit of a disappointment for a Hampton Inn with a high rating. "A delightful surprise"
I've stayed at this chain's hotels before and typically have a good stay. I was more than pleased with this particular hotel. The location was just enough off the interstate that the noise wasn't a problem, but it was close enough to a store and chain restaurants that we didn't have to travel too far for anything we needed. I decided to book the studio […] over the regular room for just a little more and was glad I made that decision. The studio room was large enough that our group could be in one room during the day and not feel crowded. If I return to the area, I will probably stay here again.
