Nassau Junkanoo Resort in Nassau

Een prima hotel voor een paar dagen.

We zochten een goedkoop hotel met het idee dat we toch nauwelijks aanwezig zouden zijn, en er alleen zouden slapen. En dat is precies wat we kregen. De bediening was karig en traag, het ontbijt bestond uit wegwerpservies en wat brood en cornflakes. De kamer, hoewel ruim en mét warme douche (na 2 weken Cuba een heerlijk gevoel), was erg klam, en we […] kregen af en toe bezoek van kakkerlakken (2x). De wasservice was niet duur, maar ik vraag me af wat voor wasmiddel ze gebruiken.... Positief: - afhankelijk van wie bij de receptie was, kon je goede of slechte tips krijgen over de omgeving, maar was over het algemeen redelijk. - het ligt aan het strand (overkant van de straat) - het centrum van Bay Street met mooie winkels en veel eet- en drinkgelegenheden ligt op een paar minuten lopen. - de hele dag door is er gratis thee en koffie - een ruim TV aanbod Al met al een hotel dat ik niet zou aanraden aan mensen tenzij je een laag budget hebt en geen hoge verwachtingen hebt. Bahama's is nu eenmaal duur, maar een iets duurder hotel zal de ervaring ongetwijfeld beter maken. Lees meer

Nice staff and convenient location in downtown, in front of the beach. Large room. Clean. Nice restaurant with internet.

Junkanoo was OK for an overnight. $30 cab fare each way from airport, but close to Fish Fry food shacks & downtown Nassau. Across street from nice beach.

If you don't want cost too much for a nite hotel, this is for you. No complaining, exept there are no fridges in rooms. But the rooms are clean and pretty ok. Quite near from centrum and next to beach! You don't want to spend time in your hotel room when you are in Bahamas, do you?

The location is great the staff is kind and warm and just very accommodating . The room was clean BUT very moldy for a person with asthma that was not very good . There was not screen at the door do that I could leave to the balcony door open for fresh air without getting bugs in the room. There is construction going on so I hope that this will fix […] those problems I would love to stay there again. This place is great if you are on a budget but don't want to sleep with the cockroaches! It is directly across the street from the beach, which has little huts with food, alcohol, and lounge chairs. I sat there for hours watching the Cruise ships come in. It's walking distance from the straw market, restaraunts, and the attractions that the locals offer […] the Cruise Ships. The hotel isn't the Hilton, but it's definitely not bad for the money. It was clean and the hotel staff were wonderful. They helped us pick out places to eat and told us how to use the public transportation to save money on cabs ($1.25 for the bus). They helped us book our excursions as well as call us cabs. The negative about this place: there was no hot water. However, I read other reviews from hotels throughout the whole island that this was a problem. We are going back in May and planning on staying there again. We sat in our room and stared at the beach for an hour the view was beautiful. Lees meer

Good price, beach and local food right across the street, clean, but in disrepair. We stayed one night to fly out of Nassau. Lots of hot water for shower (not always a given in bahamas), but paint peeling in bathroom and toilet rocked on footing. Beach good, walking to downtown and local eats very convenient, staff courteous and cordial, (with guards […] present and doors locked) but you will raise your eyebrows at the maintenance and general condition. They were working on the roof and the elevator while we were there. We kept the air on so as not to hear the street noise - but had great view of the ocean. Lees meer

although the hotel is not in the greatest condition, it was more than comfortable and the great staff with friendly attitudes and great smiles and great attitudes. the location was also fantastic !! if you spend too much time in your hotel room you are in bahamas for the wrong reason anyway!!

The picture on line looked clean and basic but when you actually see hotel inside it definatly is nothing like the picture. Maybe just the interior paint of the rooms. It had mold in bathrooms and cracks and dirt around the room. floors were not even sweeped and bedding looked liked that had not even been washed and were stained. Very helpful staff. Arranged for scuba trips and made reservations to various restaurants. And assisted me with areas of interest. Although I would not consider this establishment a "resort". It was clean, safe and comfortable. I would stay there again and it was a good value for the money.

O.K. so I reserved a smoking room and looked high & low for an ashtray in the room. Called from desk and was told that there are NO ashtrays in hotel. So how do they accomodate a smoker? Then I requested an iron which it took the staff hours to locate.......and then I was told that I must come down to front desk to get it. Help...I'm on vacation - stayed […] one night. Location is quite convenient to the "fish fry" which opens in the afternoon. Local food is served there at a reasonable price. The hotel is also located near Junkanoo Beach. Other than that, this hotel is awful in every way imaginable.

Hotel staff friendly and helpful, always pleasant. Nice economical place to spend a few days at a beach front locale. Walking distance to center of town and local eateries. Pool not maintained; had algae and debris. If you want a first rate hotel go elsewhere; this is a good alternative if you are on a budget.

I dont know who recomended this hotel, the only nice part about it was the proximity to the beach and the few rooms with views. very unhelpful stafff and very dirty apearance and rooms.

After reading numerous reviews about the Quality Inn in Nassau, I was skeptical if I made the right choice on picking that hotel. The staff is so nice, specially the two ladies at the front on different shifts. This hotel was so close to everything. The beach in front is the best place to mingle with people coming from the cruise ships. Also don't forget […] to try the home wrecker hot dogs which are delicious or simply just play beach volleyball. Quality Inn is also a few streets away from the funnest place in Bahamas "Sr. Frogs" Definitely a place to go do not' forget about getting a Yard of Margarita. I have been in many places around the world and in different hotels with different rating but certainly if you are looking for a place to stay in Bahamas were you want a good value and proximity to everything make sure you go to Quality Inn but if you are looking for more luxury then stay at Paradise Island. located on bay street, lots of road noise. i will stay there again, its about the cheapest place to stay.

Clean and centrally located, easy access to everything downtown. Convenient parking very near entrance. Nothing fancy, but everything adequate. Don't plan to spend a lot of time at hotel, but no problem seeing the sights and crashing here.

it was a work related trip so i had no expectation but the hotel i conveniently located on a main road by the beach close to downtown . the room could have been better but for one night i didn't expect much comfy bed and very clean !! had a great view but the morning traffic noise was just aw full over all is alright.!!

This hotel was not very clean the linen was gray and I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy

My room was clean but one lamp had no bulbs and the other lamp only one. The lights in the bathroom wouldn't turn on all the way. Staff didn't seem very happy at any time during my visit. The building itself, outside of the rooms needs a lot of cosmetic work. We stayed at the Atlantis for nine days. We stayed here one night while our flight was delayed. We would never stay there again. We did not trust the cleanliness of our room or hotel. Cracked plaster walls, water stains, dirt on the floor and a very poor overall appearance.

tres excellent cotre proximité centre ville et autre point de départ (bateau, taxi, bus) junkanoo beach est juste en face on peut se baigner a n importe quelle heure et la plage est animée durant lajournée

En Internet se ve mucho mejor que la realidad. En principio el cuarto que habíamos contratado no nos lo dieron y luego nos dijeron que nos daban un upgrade pero que no correspondía. Tampoco lo cobraron al supuesto upgrade.
